Great!! Restaurant service a little slow and unfriendly, but otherwise really nice place! Great views!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I would highly recommend this property if you want to truly get away in luxury. Great rooms, beautiful location, and an "aah" type of experience. Unfortunately a winter storm crippled the property during our stay, causing them to be grossly understaffed. I do not believe this is normal for this 5-star resort. But the lack of staff limited our experience […] (valet, restaurants, shuttles, etc. were all on limited operations, and no room service was available due to restaurant limitations.) Again, likely not a consistent problem here. I'd go back to try it again in the future. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Awesome location - needs update"
Been to lots of places in Colorado - best overall views are at the Lodge! Updates are necessary - brass fixtures, worn carpets, old tv - but overall the Lodge is a great place to get away. The panoramic views are simply incredible. Arrived at 7:00 p.m. And for some reason room was not ready - so hotel manager gave us free dinner for four! Great move […] as we were tired and hungry. The dinner was fabulous. Hotel seemed to be short staffed - not sure why. With some needed updating and more staff the Lodge could easily go back to winning awards. We had a wonderful and relaxing time at this beautiful lodge. The lodge is situated up on a mountain and is very romantic and secluded. "solid relaxing retreat"
great room, great grounds, friendly service. food was pretty overpriced for the quality, and unless you want to drive somewhere you have to eat there, but hopefully that improves in the high season.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Relaxing environment with great scenic appeal"
My wife and I found the hotel and location to be very nice and relaxing. We were there for 4 nights. We flew into Eagle, and drove to the hotel. It took about 20-30 mins. It is a short distance away from the town of Edwards, about 15 mins from Beaver Creek, and is very quite and secluded. It is not a large hotel, and looks more like a mountain lodge. […] The facilities are very nice, but could use some updating (I imagine it is hard to keep carpets clean and fresh looking with all of the snow and muck that gets tracked in). The room was very large, with a wonderful mountain view, balcony, and a gas fireplace in the room. The housekeeping service was great. They really did a good job keeping our room cleaned and tidy. We relied on room service several times, and the hotel restaurant once. The meal prices are very high, and the menu leans toward a gourmet cuisine. Which is OK sometimes, but often you just want simple food. We did not get to use the Spa services. We would definitely recommend the hotel, and look forward to visiting again in the future. My wife wanted to sit by the fireplace, read her books, and enjoy the view. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

One of the finest experiences ever. The staff are exceptionally attentive.Genuine Expedia guest review
The Lodge and Spa is a wonderful place to stay that is literally off the beaten path. With its beautiful views of the mountains, it is the perfect place for a romantic weekend for two. Very helpful staff and great service. Nice options like weekend breakfast buffet, early evening happy hour, and Irish pub Grouse on the Green. Great staff and hotel. You really feel like home. Everything is so close by and relaxing just like a little paradise. We will definetelly go there again on our next ski trip.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Highly recommend this hotel"
The hotel is small enough to still be quaint, and the quality and attentiveness is excellent. We went to Vail for skiing and the have a complimentary bus to Vail and Beaver creak which was a big benefit. We did not need to pay for additional parking. The lift was right outside the Beaver Creek hotel club house. We came back for lunch which was also […] supplied by the hotel complimentarily. Overall an excellent place to stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice little happy hour. Nice spacious room. 2nd time I stayed here and I was not disappointed! I will returnGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great staff in a really average setting."
The good news is that the staff here is excellent - start to finish. Friendly and efficient, they are a pleasure. The bad news is that the hotel seems to be in a sort of "faded glory" mode. I expected more, given the glowing reviews I had read from many sources and the touting of the "Spa and Lodge". WHile it is fine for a hotel, everything looked a […] bit tired and worn. We had great massages in the spa, but again, that's good choice of staff, not the rooms, the ambience, or the other things (sad old robes and towels, for example). It is located in a closed residential community and therefore not near anything, but the views are nice and the shuttle service to Beaver Creek is great. They keep a "club" room in Beaver Creek which is a great amenity and again, staffed with a wonderful "host". Rooms are clean and okay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
only problem was VERY LOUD forced hot air blowers. Other wise everything was fabulous!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Perfect hotel for a Vail or Beaver Creek ski trip"
This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. Even though it isn't in the towns of Vail or Beaver Creek, the shuttle bus and club access makes up for it. This hotel has all the perks of a slope-side resort at a fraction of the price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fantastic resort tucked away in the Rocky Mtns"
Awesome experience for the second time in a row. Very comfortable rooms. Fantastic views, great food, spa, fitness center and superb service. Access to a top notch ski lodge at the base of Vail a huge plus.Genuine Expedia guest review
Great hotel that is very accomodating with early check-in. Good customer service. Unfortunately very frustrating when elevator is broken for 4 days and have to lug all your gear up & down 2 flights of steps.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel for Couples!"
We had an amazing time while staying at The Lodge and Spa at Cordillera. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our every need. The location was great, the Vail and Beaver Creek Ski Resorts were both very accessible. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone interested in experiencing a relaxing mountain getaway.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Awesome place to get away"
10 years ago we got married in the Lodge. We spent our anniversary here this year. We recommend the Lodge and Spa at Cordillera as an excellent wedding destination or just to get away. Marleen and staff were just awesome.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice Stay, But a Few Concerns"
Great location in an upscale gated community. Fantastic views in all directions. Nice Colorado-style furnishings and ambiance. However, my room was unbearably hot the entire time. I had to keep the door to my balcony completely open, both day and night. It was somewhat disconcerting to sleep at night when others could have easily gotten access to my […] balcony and therefore my room. Also, I received no maid service one day, even though I was gone the entire day and I didn't have a Do Not Disturb sign posted. I called the front desk upon my return and they sent somebody to service my room. They mostly just took away my trash. The beverages from my glasses were dumped, but the dirty glasses weren't replaced with fresh glasses. The next morning I drank from a used glass, as evidenced by my lip gloss on the rim of the glass from the previous day. This was my first visit to this lodge. I may return, I may not ... but I expected more. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"great place for a wedding in fall"
The staff was very pleasant and accomodating, breakfast very good, happy hour great prices, scenery amazing, spa very nice, but did not like automatic 20% grat on my massage....commonly 18% is acceptable. My massage was just OK. My 75 min. Facial on the other hand amazing. Very close to Beaver Creek a little farther to Vail. The town of Edwards cute […] with some good dining. "Badly needs an update"
On the plus side, the service was outstanding, staff went out of their way to accomodate us. The location and mountain view from our room was outstanding. On the negative side, the interior of the rooms and the hotel in general is in dire need of an update. It is starting to look really tired and does not live up to the expectations of a four star facility. […] Tooo bad. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

This was a fantastic hotel at a terrific price!!! The staff was incredible, and you truly felt as though you were in an exclusive resort. So lovely!!Genuine Expedia guest review
The hotel is tucked away in the residential community Cordillera in the hills above Edwards, CO which is a short drive from the Eagle county airport. The area is scenic and does have multiple sections within the community which you can explore. The amenities are quite good. The main benefit of the hotel is it's detachment from the hustle and bustle […] and crowds of Vail and Beaver Creek and scenic beauty. The spa, gym, and locker rooms were excellent. The happy hour samplings and food at the restaurants were great. The pool was not overcrowded and pool service was above average. The concierge will book excursions and were very helpful and polite. The valet service was good and the guys always were prompt, pleasant and engaging. I had no trouble with navigating in and out of Vail and Beaver Creek to attend events and sample some of the culinary delights of those respective towns. Overall, it was a great experience at the Lodge and I would highly recommend it for a relaxing, scenic, and introspective vacation. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"A view to remember!"
While Cordillera could use updating and improvement on hallway carpet, but it is a mountain resort after all. The staff was AMAZING! Shane, the young man who greeted us and showed us to our room, was beyond personable and charming! We had a lovely time! The only down side would be the locals "belong" to the pool and evidently every single one of them […] has a kid...and many of them were less than endearing. "Beautiful view at Lodge and Spa at Cordilliere"
Loved it ! Only complaint was that the golf course was shut down. The water pressure in the shower was inadequate and there was no place nearby to purchase snacks drinks etcl...... so we had only the restaurant to eat at which of course was expensive.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Beautiful location - very exclusive"
Hated to leaveGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Staying during the off season provided for an outstanding value for comparable hotels in the area. The hotel was very clean and the views were breathtaking. We would consider staying as a family group at the larger cottages. (The drop down list did not have an explanation for our trip which was to purchase property down valley). Summer would be the […] opportune time to stay in this location. One would have to be aware of the altitude which is much higher than the town of Edwards. The restaurant was understaffed and the service was extremely slow. In-room coffee makers provided for only one cup at a time, and only two servings were provided. There was an issue with loud partying at midnight in the room next door which was resolved with a call to the desk; the party was moved to another location. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice Weekend Get Away"

"Spring Break 2012"
Great place. Only 2 suggestions: 1). Bed was a little too soft. 2). HD flat panel TV's needed in the rooms.Genuine Expedia guest review
Less than sixty rooms with full fitness facilities as well as dining options over-looking a breath-taking view combine for a unique experience. Room decor is slightly dated but they are soon to start upgrades. Take a break and enjoy this hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Very nice and quite location, excellent Gym. The food at its resaurant was "OK". "Lovely hotel with beautiful mountain views!"
Lovely, huge hotel with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains! Access to the comfy Vail Village clubhouse steps away from the Vista Bahn lift (for a fee which includes: overnight locker storage for your boots/bags/skis/board, continental breakfast and afternoon beer/wine & snacks!) was so nice & convenient! Our roomy room had: a fireplace, balcony […] with views of the mountains (be sure to ask for that type of room if that’s what you’re looking for… I believe it’s the Mountain Deluxe), Keurig individual coffee maker, a his & her’s bathroom sink (yay!) with gold accents, heated towel rack, large double door closet, homemade soaps, 2 bathrobes, & a high ceiling. The lobby is really nicely decorated with leather sofas to hang out in front of a fireplace with views of the mountains. There’s a special every night on happy hour and/or dinners. Nice dining room with a fireplace & mountain views as well. Everyone was so pleasant, friendly and helpful: the bartender, front desk persons, valet, housekeeping, the shuttle drivers to the clubhouse. I loved the indoor & outdoor heated pools & hot tubs! Hanging out in a hot tub under the stars after a long day was so divine! There’s a roaring firepit every night next to the outdoor pool until 10pm with ingredients to make S’Mores with! Didn’t use the spas. The well-kept, comfy & clean ladies & men’s room on the spa floor with access to the pools was so nice too: lots of toiletries, cushy furniture, sauna and steam room too! "Tranquil Skiing in the Rockies"
We had a wonderful time at the Lodge, which is removed from the main drag of Edwards and the surrounding Vail area, so that you can revel in the beauty and quiet of the Rockies. Cordillera has a quiet location about a ten minute drive west of Edwards. Nice spa and workout facility. Good wireless strength in the rooms. Both restaurants were good. "Fun in the sun (and snow)"
A fantastic little get away earlier February 2012. What a charming hotel! My wife and I had a blast there. Gorgeous views, comfortable rooms, and the food was great. Although a down year for snow in Colorado I hear, to us it was great. We got to dog sled, take a few hikes, etc. Everyone was very nice and friendly. She had the full spa treatment and […] loved it. I used the work out room one time and thought nicely equipped. Took 2 hikes as well and was huffing in the Colorado air but felt good afterwards. Edwards itself is a neat town as well. I had only been to Denver a few years ago for a conference so knew little about Vail, Edwards, etc. Have to say I am anxious to get back. As far as the hotel I am glad I took tons of pics. Just the view from our back balcony was mouth watering. See pic below. I hope to get back in the next few years, perhaps when my little ones are older but again have to say we were thrilled with the trip. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
