Not the most comfortable beds, but the nearness to the main hotel and ski lodge was fantastic. The staff /ladies at the front desk were very helpful and answered all our questions. It would be nice if the coffee and hot cocoa were available all day.

The location was great and the hotel was convenient to downtown Lincoln, a 3 minute drive to Loon Mtn. and Lincoln woods for snow shoeing. The shuttle to the ski runs was very convenient and reliable. The pool, hot tub and sauna were great amenities and perfect after a long day on the slopes. The kitchenette in the room was nice as we were able to make dinner and breakfast and saved money and time from having to eat out all the time. The hotel doesn't have a fitness center (or even know where one is close by), but that's a fairly minor point since there is so much you can do to be active outside.

Very comfortable, quiet, clean overnight stay. The room was nice, the bed was comfortable and breakfast was good. Very satisfied with my stay. It's a pretty town with good choices for dinner, too.

The owners were very welcoming and educated on what the town and surrounding areas had to offer. They pointed us in the right direction for dinner (awsomme choice) in the area, also informed us of what there was for shopping near the area. We stayed in the Egyptian room, and it sure was nice. "Can't wait to go back!"
This was our first time staying in a B&B so I was a bit skeptical.. However, Roger and Chris made us feel at home before we even walked through the door. Staying here truly felt as comfortable as visiting family. If you like to keep to yourself, that's fine too; they give you a key to your room and the main door so you can come and go as you please. […] The house itself is very beautiful inside and out, well maintained, and is kept immaculately clean. Chris serves 5 star gourmet breakfasts that would cost a lot to buy in a restaurant; We were very pleased with our 2 night stay, so much so that we would prefer it over a luxury hotel. We found that the rooms were nicer and had more amenities than comparable hotels or B&Bs in the area. Also, if you call and book directly with Chris and Roger, they won't charge your credit card until the date of your stay. If you book with Expedia, you have to pay when you book... FYI. We enjoyed a very pleasant stay in this charming B&B in the Whote Mountains of NH. The owners were very kind and accomodating and upgraded our room for free. The en suite bath was excelent - good water pressure and very hot water, which is nice in northern NH in early February! We slept well in the comfy bed. Breakfast was the best ever - the owner/wife […] runs a catering company and it shows! She made an excellent coffee with the world's best french toast and raspberry sauce that was to die for! The Lion and the Rose BNB was one of the best places we had stayed. Definitely a strong consideration when we decide to visit the "North Country" again! The tour of the house revealed exquisite rooms and many antique pieces (a must see of the ...used to be... steam heat radiator in the hallway if you stay there!). Chris and Roger are the best hosts, […] and helped us find places to go when it rain/gloomy on a Saturday when were there. The biggest thing that was a concern to us about staying at any BNB was noises. Didn't hear a thing! The 2nd thing was LGBT friendliness. They were definitely not bothered that we are a gay couple.
