Room was small. Breakfast didn't start early enough or last long enough. With that said we didn't have an opportunity to eat breakfast. It was close to the convention center which was our reason for being in Wildwood. ALSO...couldn't check in early as the doors were locked and had to ring a doorbell to get in. Overall, not a bad stay.

room was small - in fact very small (Unit no. 9). Breakfast was only available for 90 min - limited time which knowing there was a major convention going on there was no accomodating those vendors who were working the conference.... (early riser to prepare) so I went to Uncle Bill's Pancake House.... Not a huge expense but inconvenient The most disappointing […] part was in check in was letting her (the wife - owner) know that I was there for the convention and when asked if I needed anything I asked for an iron to iron my dress shirts to look presentable since I had been living out of my suit case for the last 9 days. Her surprising response was "THE IRON IS NO PROBLEM BUT ALL I CAN GET YOU IS AN IRON AND A MAT. THE IRONS AND IRONING BOARDS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE IN THE SUITES !" That is absolutely CHEESY not to mention she never brought up an iron. Folks.... unless it is peak season in summer - shop around. I found that even though it was NJ STate Firemans Convention, there were motel complexes even close to the convention center that has rooms available for less money and ALLOT bigger. Please understand - I use Expedia allot and never write these evals let alone have the time. I travel all over the country almost every week and have stayed at some very nice B&B's whenever possible...... but none quote as dreadful and not accomodating as this Read more

Great hotel to choose when visiting wildwood crest. my husband and I enjoyed our romantic 4th of july visit. We enjoyed breakfast and the hot tub. The hosts were great. we will return again in august for our 3 year aniversary.

I'm getting to this a few months after my girlfriend and I stayed there. But we really enjoyed our stay here. The room was small, but we knew that before we booked our room. Cozy says it all. It's small, but comfortable. Clean. Breakfast served was good, but there were no choices. Coffee and orange juice was served. 2.5 blocks from the boardwalk. The boardwalk was great. Much cleaner than others I've seen. Very cute little place. I liked sitting on the front porch. I also loved Bob's mustache.

This was truly a plesent surprise. We stayed in wildwood only because Cape May Area was booked but so glad they were. Very well kept, clean safe location & friendly staff & guest. Don't heitate to stay here especially if you are in town for USCG Graduation short distant from Base.

When my girlfriend and I fist walked into the B&B, no one was there to greet us. My girlfriend decided to knock on the office door. Apparently this is frowned upon, because the male owner came out of the office pointing to a sign on the door that read, "please ring bell located at enterance". He said in a very annoyed voice, "Read the sign". Granted, […] there was sign on the door that we did not see, but this is not the way you talk to your customers. I also had a situation where I left my shaver in the room. I live in New York, so going back to the Hotel and picking up my shaver is not an option. Long story short: I had to call the owner several times and ask if they had found my shaver. Every time I called I was quickly dismissed. After 3 attempts I finally convinced the female owner to look under the bed for my shaver. 10 minutes later I received a call from her saying she found my shaver, and she said that they would mail it to me, but I would have to pay a $20 convenience fee and postage, because "time is money"! I do not mind paying for postage, but the fact that they were trying to make money off of my misfortune is insulting. The female owner handled this situation like a street vendor looking for a sale. A good owner would have mailed the item and just charged for postage, which I initially proposed to her. Again, this is not how you deal with customers. There are plenty of good B&B's in Wildwood, so avoid this one. The only plus I will give this B&B is that the rooms are very clean and the food was good. However, when you are trying to eat your breakfast, the male owner stands in a corner staring at you. I presume you can call this good service, but to be honest it's intrusive and kind-of creepy. I have utilized Expedia in the past to make travel arrangements and have always been satisfied by the services rendered at these places. I am very sad to say that this time it was not the same experience. From the moment I checked into the hotel to the time I left I felt uneseay. First, upon my arrival when I was asked to produce my credit card the […] reason given to me as to why they needed it on file was "in case you break something or something in the room is missing.' I felt highly offended and embarrassed as to such a comment, as I happen to be a professional (a DOCTOR), not a thieve. I suppose courtesy and diplomacy is not one the owners’ practice. Secondly, the room was deplorable- it was extremely small, so much so that when my partner and I needed to move (go to the bathroom, get dressed) we had to do it one at a time. Literally you went from standing to lying down on the bed. They were not even accommodating or apologetic - when I asked for water I was told they did not have any, and to go to the bathroom sink and get it from there. The water was warm and tasted metallic. This B&B was a lovely place to spend the week. The owners are friendly, charming people, eager to please and very accommodating. The breakfasts are unusual and absolutely delicious and the atmosphere very cozy with piano music playing in the background while you eat. They are located […] only a few short blocks from the beach and provide clean outdoor showers to rinse off sand before heading into the house. The rooms are relatively spacious and clean with comfortable beds and a mini-refrigerator, which is very handy. They also provide a book and movie library as well as a collection of board games for guests to use. Everything in the house appears to be well maintained and decorated with care giving the place a very homey feel. A private bathroom with complementary soaps and hair dryer, a mini fridge, a tv with a dvd/vhs player, and of course free wifi. For the price and quality, definitely worth it. We had a small room at the back of the hotel. The room was SMALL. I mean really SMALL. When selecting rooms, a small room means just that, SMALL. We could have stayed in Cape May for about the same room rate (and undoubtedly a larger room), but decided to give this B&B a try. The room was very clean, the B&B was quaint and clean. The owners were terrific […] and very knowledgable. Breakfast was good...couple slices of raisin bread French Toast and some fresh fruit. The TV reception and channel selection was poor if that is important to you. No ESPN. There is street parking in front and an unpaved parking lot across the street owned by the B&B for your car. The neighborhood was not the greatest, even though it seems to be improving. There are new condos across the street. The B&B is located near Wildwood clubs. Unfortunately for us, the one off-season Saturday night we stayed there we were awakened by a "gentleman" screaming at a female in a car. The screaming, no exaggeration, went on for at least 1/2 hour in a parking lot behind the B&B at 3:30AM. No police, nothing stopped the incessant yelling from this most likely drunken embarassment to the American people. Too bad. I wish the owners could pick up their B&B and move it to another neighborhood. If not for being awakened in the middle of the night the stay would have otherwise been fine. Read more

It's an old building so you get the uneven floors, tight rooms and the like. But it has atmosphere. Our only "complaint" would be that breakfast is served only at 9:30, a bit late for breakfast and impossible for us to partake in because we had a ferry to catch.

The hotel was located walking distance to all the action. We didn't have to move the car! It was VERY clean!!! The shower was tiny, but you do have your own bathroom/shower. We had a great experience! Bob was VERY helpful!! This was our first Bed & Breakfast, When we go back to Wildwood, we will definitely stay there again.
