We stayed here for the good rates, and were within a 5 minute walk to Doubletree and the other premier hotels and also the awesome Ale House (try the chicken twisters - yummi). The staff at the front desk were awesome, though the sales desk BS'd us by telling us that their tickets were the same cost as at the gate of Universal. Universal gate was cheaper. They also pushed for us to get a 2 day pass saying it takes 28 hours to get thru the two parks. Well we bought the 1 day pass and we were on and off ALL the rides in both parks by 3PM and were heading back to Island of adventure to ride some again. But if we bought the two day pass we would've been bored out of our mind. Granted we did go to Universal on a Tuesday and there were few people there. Also the sales desk told us it was a 15 minute walk. Me and my friends are in marathon shape, it still took us 30 minutes to get there. Lastly they told us that since we are staying in a hotel close to Universal we'd get in at 8, another lie, we arrived at 8:15 and we weren't allowed in until 9, only guests staying in Universal itself at the expensive premier hotels were allowed early entry. So in summation; I would recommend La Quinta but don't go buy your tickets from the liars at the sales desk for any parks. PS - our room smelled like someone smoked in it, it was mild so we didn't complain and the windows opened, that was nice.

This Days Inn is very old and could use a major overhaul. We had booked 2 nights and the first room was uncomfortable and dirty. Plus bugs. In the morning we requested another room and were immediately upgraded to a larger, cleaner, more comfortable room. Front desk was eager to help and maintenance staff also helped to fix a missing chair leg in the new room. Overall we probably would not recommend this Days Inn except for its location and price (be aware of the 'resort' fee added at check-in per day). This is no resort.

"Close to UCF"
Very nice hotel. The only complaint I had was that we were unable to get two queen beds, and had to use the sofa bed for the children. Excellent breakfast and good service all around

There was a problem with our reservation. They were overbooked so they put us up at a nearby sister hotel for the first night. We were given a room at Homewood on day 2 but was not charged for the first night which was very nice. The hotel was exceptionally clean and all of the staff were exceptionally friendly. We arrived at 2 p.m., our room was ready, and we were permitted to check in early. The facilities were great, the location convenient for a concert at UCF, and the breakfast was delicious. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay here.

"Romance"
They had messed up and put us in a smoking room when we booked non smoking. The staff quickly accompdated us and upgraded our room and it was non smoking swell. Breakfast was great and the dinner was amazing. They also had red and blushed whine along with beer on draft. Very classy and nice place. Definitely coming back.

Cleanest bathrooms in the East Orlando UCF area.
I loved the Homewood Suites and recommend this hotel to families especially. The rooms were nice, spacious and clean. It had everything we needed. Breakfast and an evening meal was served. Everyone there was warm and inviting!!!

We stayed here to go to a concert at the UCF arena. It was the closest hotel nearest the campus (though it was too far to walk to the arena). Met all my standards for cleanliness, safety, comfortableness. Breakfast was really good-variety-hot section changed daily- from eggs/bacon/sausage/cheesy hash browns, etc. Nightly Mon-Thurs. they have food and […] beer/wine in the evenings; we had bbq pulled pork sandwiches with corn on the cob (tasty- and free!) with beer and wine. That was a nice perk! Pool area was fenced, clean, with plenty of chairs, tables with umbrellas. A Walgreens shares the parking lot which was handy. Just down the street from a great outdoor mall with 20 screen theater (Waterford Lakes I believe). Read more

This hotel was the most pricey in the area of UCF and the research park near North Alafaya Trail. It had a fairly nice small buffet breakfast and a simple single-entree buffet dinner included in the room price. I stayed in the Homewood for a week due to training in the Orlando area. I found the accommodations to be comfortable, arrived back each evening to a clean suite, and had the convenience of plenty of restaurants. It was quiet - I'd stay again!

My husband, two sons ages 3 & 6, & myself stayed here for 2 nights during our recent visit to Orlando. The room was great, and the staff were friendly. This is a great place to stay. The people treated us great. The breakfast was very good and the rooms are spacious. The only bad thing we can say is that our room clearly had been stayed in by smokers. Too bad that some people only think of their comfort and smoke in a "no smoking" room.

Das Hotel liegt leider etwas ausserhalb von Orlando, und wer abends Action sucht, ist hier allerdings an der falschen Stelle. Dafür hat man allerdings den Vorteil, dass man sich nicht über die Highways quälen muss. Jeg og min sambper bodde her i 11 dager. Det holder en god standard pg var ikke veødig dyrt. Beliggenheten er ok, men det bir en del kjløring med ca 35 min til sentrum. Hoteløet er ikke veldig stort rundt 95 suiter noe som gir ett mer bedagelig tempo enn på de massve resort hotellene. Hvis du har planer om å ligge i bassenget hele ferien er nok ikke […] det beste for deg. Det er ett basseng, men det er lite og ikke 100% rent. Betjeningen er venlig og stiller opp. Hotellet annefales de spm vil ha litt mindre fart rundt seg. To viltige ting dersom du ikke har vært i usa før: Bil med gps er et must. Videre sett deg inn i trafikkreglene før du drar. Det er noe unaturlig ved å feks. svinge til høyre i ett kryss der det er rødt lys.
