      The staff was great, the location is great for a business person coming from the airport. The train is right across the street, and the main train station and buses and metro are right nextdoor too. BUT it is a cab (or metro or bus) ride from the historic area so be advised. Also, there is no gym/exercise room. And when it's cold in Lyon or snowing, your only choice is to eat :). It's in a very commercial area so there don't seem to be fine real French restaurants around. So the bottom line is, good for a business person with appointments close by. Not quite so good for tourists.

      Nice hotel, centrally located, close to Metro stop. Booked a superior room and as is typical throughout many hotels in the EU, it was tiny. Had to go outside to change our minds. Barely enough room to walk around the double bed. Std. room' must be a sardine can. No soundproofing issues, fairly quiet. Front desk staff was exceptional and friendly. Plenty of pizza joints within a block or 2, which came in handy when we arrived late. Would stay here again.

    Not the easiest place to find, situated at the top of a large hill and right next door to another hotel that had much bigger, more obvious, signage but managed to find it in the end! When you do eventually find it though it is immaculately maintained and has a very modern feel. Good service and very pleased with our stay here. Only downside is that […] it's not the easiest to get in the centre from here and found ourselves ordering a taxi (which the nice chap on reception did for us). Again we got a taxi back as they aren't that expensive. Lyon itself is a lovely place. Recommended Read more

    Wir waren auf der Durchreise in diesem Hotel. Für eine Nacht absolut ausreichend. Besonders zu erwähnen ist der beheizte Spiegel. So gibt's in dem Bad nach dem Duschen keinen beschlagenen Spiegel.

    Un accueil un peu froid, mais un confort très appréciable! Les chambres sont spacieuses et propres, le wifi est simple d'accès, la télévision est de bonne qualité.     Dit hotel gekozen als tussenstop naar het zuiden. De hotelkamer was niet groot maar wel erg netjes, schoon en compleet voor een nette prijs. Het eten was echter erg duur, armoedig en de entrecote net zo taai als een schoenzool! Flinke tegenvaller, want in de directe omgeving zijn ook niet veel restaurants.

    vraiment tres deçu de cet hotel .j'avais reservé une chambre triple (famille) a l'arrivée c'est une chambre double juste avec un lit d'appoint ,une fois le lit installé on ne peut plus bouger ; trop petit de plus la chambre est dans un etat vetuste ,tres sale,j'ai meme pas osé ouvrir la fenetre tellement qu'elle etait sale. meme les oreillers avaient […] une odeur désagreable en tout cas pas changés tous les jours. dans la chambre il y a une porte qui communique avec la chambre voisine et donc on entend tout se qui se passe à coté murs trop fins. pour faire court c'est mon premier arret dans un campanile en tout cas celui la je le bannis .     Hotel sympathique, accueil personnalisé, tout sera mieux dans le confort de la chambre lorsque les travaux de rénovation des autres étages seront terminés. Il ne faut pas en cette période d'octobre 2011 envisager la sieste dans la chambre à cause des travaux en cours, même le samedi ou tard dans la soirée. Parking gratuit appréciable, non clos à partager […] avec le "première classe" d'en face. Légèrement éloigné des liaisons bus (à 800 m.), ou métro (faut prendre le bus avant). Petit déj complet et à volonté, varié pour 9 €. Une autre chaîne concurrente (Accor) propose -15% aux clients de l'hôtel sur la restauration du soir (Courtepaille). Campanile ne le fait malheureusement pas, mais propose un superbe buffet d'entrée ou de desserts à volonté pour 1 quinzaine d'euros. Accueil et sourire très sympathique de l'ensemble du personnel.
