"What a View!"
While my room did not come with a view, the main lodge offers a picture postcard view of the Grand Tetons! We spent only one night as we were traveling through to another destination. Cabin room was clean and bed was comfortable. The only downside was the price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Lodge is wonderful; cottages not so much"
I should have read the fine print when booking this lodge. I thought we would be staying in the lodge. Instead, we were given a "cottage" room which is nothing like a true cottage. The musty smell, outdated bathroom, and view of a parking lot were not what we expected, especially given the outrageous price. The actual Lodge is incredible, so make sure […] you book a room INSIDE the Lodge. Lesson learned. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We stayed in a cottage that was a bit rustic but clean except for the carpet that was soiled from the dirt paths in the park. Main lodge public areas were spectacular; we did not see the main lodge sleeping rooms.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The location is incredible. The beds are extremely comfortible. A little dated in room decor. Our only issue was a drain back-up the made the bath/shower useless. The maintenance staff did fix the issue immediately the next day.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A small step above camping, large step in price"
I have a family of 4 and a dog, 2 kids, 3 and 4 years old and we stayed in one of the standard cottages. It was a roof over our head, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was adequate. The lodge provided a roll-away bed for a reasonable charge for the two nights. The room was very hot when we arrived and the ceiling fan was broken, the lodge provided […] a floor fan, but that did little to improve the temperature even with all of the windows open. The restaurants there with the lodge are very expensive, they do have better than average food. There are kids menus, and the kids food is equally pricey. The lodge is very close to the national parks and that was nice, we were able to see some things in the morning and evening that we wouldn't have been able to see if we were staying further away. "Cottage Stay near Grand Tetons"
My wife and our 2 boys stayed 2 nights at a Cottage at the Jackson Lake Lodge. The cottages are best thought of as a rustic, comfortable alternative to camping, as without TV or A/C they are a step below a hotel room at a mid-level chain hotel. However, the location across from the Grand Tetons more than redeems the cottage limits. The main lodge is […] nothing less than spectacular due to the location, views, good food, and excellent customer service. The scenic boat cruise is a must do. Don't forget your camera. The hotel is located right in the Grand Teton Park with great view of the Tetons from the main hall/dining room and bar. We stayed in one of the cottage rooms with no view, but it was clean and comfortable. Also easy walk to the main hotel for food, drinks and view. The food was decent and the bar had a number of craft brews. Overall, this place was […] worth the price, great park hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The view from the lodge deck is beyond words. Our room was very comfortable. It did not have AC, but it was not needed even at the beginning of July. Will definitely give this a strong thumbs up!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The Rooms were OK. The location of the hotel is very good and beautiful. But its absolutely not worth the price you pay of it. Rooms and bathroom are small. But amazing view from the hotel and great breakfast, which is not free.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

An ideal location for visiting the Grand Tetons, overlooking Jackson Lake and the Tetons. Also a fine dining room but be sure to book a day or two early as it fills up quickly!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great stay and food place for Yellowstone"
Peaceful surroundings at the cottages. Stunning view at the main building. Great local food and only a bit pricey. Water bottle refill station is a nice touch. Watching the whistle pigs (little groundhogs) at the outdoor patio was endless entertainment for the kids. Room and bathroom are nice and adequate. Great location and great staff. It was semi clean and the rooms are very old. There is some maintenance problems.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Jackson Lake Lodge"
Overpriced monopoly for mediocre accommodations Only saving grace is its location to Jackson and other lakes. Seems things haven't changed in 20 years.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Jackson Lake lodge. Perfect place to explore the Grand Tetons, horseback ride and then white water raft in Jackson Hole. Would definitely stay again. Loved the Pioneer Grill. Good food, atmosphere and great staff!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Enjoying the Tetons from their restaurant was inspiring. If I have any complaints, it's that there were very few restaurant tables outdoors. Also, the piano player stopped very early - about 7. Everything else was perfect.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
View from lobby bar is simply amazing!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fantastic location and views"
It was a great place, the location was perfect. Staff very friendly and helpful, would highly recommend a stay if you are in the Tetons. Cabins are clean and comfortable, but basic. The views from the Lodge are breathtaking.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"In center of Grand Teton National Park"
We stayed in a cottage, which was fine. A 1 minute walk to main hotel. There are two restaurants, a cafeteria style one and fine dining one, called the Mural Room. The breakfast cost was the same in both, so definitely eat that in the Mural Room , which has fabulous views of the mountains. We were less impressed with dinner. The Mural Room was pricey […] and service was good but they were let down by the food. The menu was over ambitious and I suspect they had a new chef as the hotel had just opened for the summer season after being closed all winter. The hotel is 22 miles from Yellowstone National Park, but this is only to the South gate. Yellowstone is enormous, some 80 miles from north to south, so you will be driving a lot if you want to go round Yellowstone. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

When first arrived at our cabin, we found trails of giant black ants around the front door and few spiders with webbing on the ceiling. We reported the problem to the frontdesk. Instead of calling for maintenance, Jennifer (manager?) move our room to inside the lodge itself which was awesome except for the towels weren't very clean... But we brought […] our own towels anyway and I was pleased not having to deal with spiders. Overall very happy the stay and their service. "Great location to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons"
We stayed here for 3 nights after staying 2 nights north of Yellowstone. We were late in booking this trip so we couldn't get any accommodation in Yellowstone NP. But this turned into a positive as we stayed at Jackson Lake Lodge and got to explore Grand Teton National Park which wasn't initially planned. We did the evening rafting that we booked at […] the hotel. This was fantastic and we highly recommend it. There were different dining options to cater for different budgets and it was nice to sit out on the terrace and watch the sunset. The room didn't have a TV but we weren't there much and sometimes there were bugs in the room so ask for spray. The WIFI was pretty good but we had to keep signing into it. Overall we would stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Beauty at Lake Jackson Lodge"
We stayed at the cabins which are right on the property. They were probably built in the 50's but are clean and don't have a musty smell. We have two queen beds and so there is a basin outside and inside the bathroom which make it easy to get ready. The lodge is right there and the shot of the Grand Tetons as you walk up the stairs is unbelievable. […] We sat on the patio and saw numerous wildlife in the evening hours. "The Few Downs of a Great Hotel."
My family and I stayed at the Jackson Lodge for a couple of nights. The purpose of the trip was the Yellowstone. Overall, the plan was a sucess, but had some impurity. Fisrt, th hotel was further than I expected from the Yellowstone. This was my mistake, but I don't regret it. The lobby of the hotel had a captivating view of the Jackson Lake and the […] snowcapped mountains. Birds, chipmunks, and other small rodents are always present. We also saw a moose a couple of times eating and roaming the land between the hotel and the lake. The place was the closest you can get to heaven. Additionally, the way to the Yellowstone was also charming. We saw numbers of elk and bisons. I don't think we could have seen as many if we did not take that long road from Jackson Lake to the middle of the Yellowstone. The second problem was a terrible internet connection. I understand that whoever goes to this kind of areas must be trying to escape the hectic life, but I really needed it due to unforseen circumstances and really needed to book another hotel in California. The signal in the rooms was very weak, and it was interrupted every two minutes everywhere else. Finally, the furniture was a bit old. It was well maintained though. However, I think carpets must at least be changed periodically. Overall, the hotel was so great with a very few downs that I wanted to point out to readers and to the hotel management itself. Anyone would enjoy staying there. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

It was fun to stay there one time, I doubt we will choose to stay there again. Hotel was nostalgic with a lot of history, clean and loved the idea of no TV's/phones etc in the room. Response by Jackson Lake Lodge Dear Gaylene, Thank you very much for taking time to review your stay with us! I'm very glad that you enjoyed the history and solitude offered by our lodge and location. "One of the most beautiful settings in the country"
This is a great location, overlooking its namesake lake with panel windows in the 2nd floor lobby with sweeping views. The staff are also extremely helpful and courteous. "Beautiful setting but cabins need up dating."
We were disappointed in the Mural Room dinner we had so we only ate one night there. The breakfast are good. Rooms were not as clean as they should have been. Most the staff was friendly. We stayed in a cabin that was very cozy. It was cold though, it took forever to heat up. No frig or microwave which was a problem as we travel with our small dog and it's nice to have a place to keep beverages cold. The cabin was not as clean as it should have been, lots of dust in the corners and our dog kept bringing me things that she found. For […] the price of the cabins/rooms I think they could do better in that department. The resort itself is beautiful, the lodge is very comfy. I recommend it highly for those visiting the Tetons! Loved our cottage room. It was large, clean and very quiet. I was very sad that our dinner was just ok and not what I had remembered years ago. "Good Hotel, Great location, poor food, service"

The rooms were spacious and well decorated. We stayed in the traditional room and then decided to switch to a room with a view of the Tetons.
