Just returned from another great visit to the Parkhotel in The Hague. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful and my room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The breakfast room has great food and terrific view of the park. The neighborhood is full of great restaurants and shops and is extremely pedestrian friendly. Used public transport all week - easy, clean, efficient. I look forward to returning the the Parkhotel on my next visit to The Hague!

Nice location amongst office buildings. Close enough to the airport for a quick stay. Reasonable airport shuttle which only runs every half-hour - could be more often. Shuttle stop is a few hundred yards away from the entry, heough a car park, down a driveway, and around a corner. Not convenient at all if you're traveling with lots of baggage or a family group. But this is the most inconvenient part of the hotel experience. Rooms were nice. Facilities were very reasonable. I would go back.

Clean, well maintained, a 15 minute walk from the central station. Visited the gay bars in Den Haag which are a very short walk from the hotel. Also a number of great other bars and restaurants a short walk away.

Old worn out motel style place. The room was old and it showed. There was permanent dirt on the walls and in the bathroom, the bed was horrible, no internet access and loud, loud, loud. We were doubly unfortunate to stay there with a teenage rugby team from the UK, who thought it was their own playground and door slamming was practice for the next days […] game. I am sorry to say that we were placed in a very, very small room on the third floor. The heat didn't work in the room and they insisted that it just took time. As it was quite cold outdoors, it was positively frigid in the room and the heat never worked. They sent up a gentleman who banged on the radiator control with a wrench, but it only got a tiny […] bit better. After freezing miserably for some hours we finally convinced them to put us in a room on the ground floor where the heat worked. We were never comfortable but at least were not freezing cold. The package was meant to have breakfast included, yet at checkout they still charged us a very steep amount, even for days which we didn't partake. Very, very disappointing. We needed another four nights here, but were glad to change to the NH as quickly as possible. Read more

The Campanile is a modern, generic hotel. It was very convenient for us as a base to visit relatives. Because of this I can't comment on the food. Neither my son's room or ours had working hair dryers...their air intakes were blocked with fluff and had probably overheated. The TV didn't work in our room, initially, but I eventually realised that the […] aerial lead had been pulled out and had dropped behind the table. There were no operating instructions so it was a matter of experimentation :) The water was INCREDIBLY hot so be careful not to scald. This was the same 2yrs ago, on my last visit. There was no toilet brush. Pillow cases were missing. Oh yes....why the measly coffee and tea facilities? A TINY biscuit, enough coffee or tea for just ONE cup. Same goes for sugar. Why the modern management youngsters think that this irritating saving will help the bottom line...LONG TERM? Don't they have enough experience of life to realise that such a mean, scrimping attitude might save them pennies, in the short term, but reduce their longer term profitability? These people need to wake up and smell the coffee....they don't understand people or hence, their business. All in all though, good location, good staff, decent accomadation at a reasonable price with security. Good, comfortable beds with duvets....not my favourite; but practical and acceptable under hotel circumstances. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful and the booking system was seamless. I didn't use the WI-FI hotspot but the reception was poor on my last visit two years ago. This time I asked for a room nearer the hotel so that this might be improved :). Finally, it's easy to pick fault with anything but I would definitely recommend the hotel at it's price point...modern, comfortable and clean...and does the job. For me, even the very best hotel in the world wouldn't prise me out of my own, messy home!! :) Read more

Hotel was good value choice in the area of the Alexandrium Shopping Centre. Rooms were clean with free wifi connection. Breakfast was at extra cost but a good choice was offered.

the Campanile is what a hotel should be and the staff were welcoming, very helpfull and spoke exceptional english.the catering was good honest food whith top service. the hotel was very clean and well presented. we will stop here again when next in rotterdam

Hotel situé a l'extérieur de la ville dans un quartier tres calme et agréable, a deux pas d'un grand centre commerciale et d'une station de métro. Avec son parking gratuit cet hotel est idéal pour ceux qu'il veulent découvrir la ville sans se prendre la tete avec leur voiture. Pour le reste, l'hotel en lui meme est assez classique.

Zeer vriendelijke en hulpvaardig personeel. Op loopafstand van de metro, vanwaar het een kwartier naar het centrum is, zeer goede en makkelijke verbinding. Kamer was schoon en prima! Gratis WiFi en heel belangrijk: gratis parkeren.

Comme lu précédemment, l’hôtel est parfois trop chauffé, même en plein hiver. Chambres correctes mais insonorisation moyenne. Pour le reste, centre commercial et station de métro et train à 5 minutes à pieds.

hotel sur-chauffé. a notre 1ere chambre bouton radiateur cassé ==> nuit blanche car nous avons ouvert fenêtre pour respirer et , comme hôtel est sur un carrefour, beaucoup de bruit. le lendemain, aucun probleme pour changer de chambre, nous avons pu arrêter chauffage mais trop chaud quand même, donc nous avons ouvert fenêtre et bruit.....le service […] a été correct mais les serviettes de toilettes doivent être stockées près de la cuisine car on retrouve l'odeur!!! sinon, à part 1ère soirée où le réceptionniste ne s'est pas trop soucié de nous, le personnel était charmant. pour accés, c'est top pour circuler car métro juste à 5 mns à pied Read more

Nous y sommes allés par fortes chaleurs et comme la chambre n'était pas climatisée la température était très élevée. Emplacement sur un boulevard dans un carrefour donc l'hôtel est bruyant. Parking fermé la nuit derrière l'hôtel. C'est pratique.

Bonne impression dans l'ensemble. Cinq minutes à pied de la station métro et un trés grand centre commercial à côté idéal pour faire du shopping !!

Goed hotel met gratis parkeren. Kamers niet al te groot maar wel netjes. Badkamer net erg modern. Metro is op loopafstand van het hotel. Binnen een 15 minuten in het centrum van R'dam

Det fanns inga handdukar på rummet, de låg i tvätten. Jag var visserligen tidig, men det borde väl finnas tillräckligt. Det fanns hårstrån från andra inne i badrummet. Trångt om utrymmet och lite halvsjaskigt. Funkade för en natt men inget jag kan rekommendera.

Hotel liegt sehr gut. Nahe der Metro und Hauptbahnhof. Zum Zentrum sind es ca. 4 km. Leider ein bisschen viel Strassenlärm. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im nahegelegen Einkaufszentrum Alexanderplaat.

L'hôtel n'est pas très bien indiqué (peu de panneaux qui indiquent sa direction) alors suivez bien votre carte! Il est à deux grandes rues d'une station de métro et d'un grand centre commercial. Un petit café restaurant très sympathiques se trouvent également deux rues plus loin. Ils ne parlent pas très bien français mais super bien anglais ! Le service […] est parfait, les chambres toujours propres et les gens d'acceuil très sympas. Si vous avez besoin d'une consigne pour vos valises ils n'en n'ont pas à proprement parler mais vous les garderons dans une pièce fermé à clé néanmoins. L'hotel est plutot calme et retiré du centre ville. C'est assez bien pour se reposer d'une longue journée touristique ou de shopping. Si vous venez en train descendez gare centrale puis metro jusqu'à Beurs avant de changer direction Alexander. De là il ne vous reste que deux grandes rues à parcourrir pour rejoindre votre hotel. Les chambres ont plusieurs prises de courants, une tv, etc Néanmoins il n'y a pas d'ascenseur donc si jamais préciser une chambre au rez de chaussée lors de votre réservation! J'y ai séjournée trois nuits et je conseille cet hôtel. De plus il dipose d'un restaurant également et d'un parking derrière l'hôtel ! Bon voyage :) Read more
