This hotel was nice and clean! TV wasn't a flat screen but that didn't bother me! And no BED BUGS!! The only thing that sucked was the wireless Internet. It didn't work! Right by the boardwalk and neighborhood was fine. But overall I give it a 4 out if 5!

It was absolutely beautiful as we pulled in. It matched the pictures on the site. The staff was friendly and helpful. Because this is such an old place... be prepared. If you like history and appreciate it then you'll love this. If you like new and modern then perhaps not. You certainly feel as you stepped backwards in time which was actually what we were looking for. We wanted a getaway and this was perfect. Local attractions, shopping, and restaurants were excellent. We had the option of going to AC but decided to stay near the holel. The only thing we didn't like was that you have to walk through the Grill Room to get to the gym and the pool. After a workout it was not fun to walk through where people were eating. But with an old hotel how can you improve that? The dinner we had at the Grill Room was excellent. Main Dining Room - Circular fine-dining restaurant with huge candle-style chandelier and large windows overlooking resort grounds and putting green. International dishes. Buffet and à la carte breakfasts daily. Lunch Monday–Saturday. Sunday champagne brunch. Dinner daily, including Friday-night seafood buffet.

Grille Room - English-pub ambience with brick walls, wood-beamed ceiling. Open late morning to late night for appetizers, salads, sandwiches, burgers, pasta, fish, chicken, steak, cocktails.

Recreation

Pools, spa tubs
A 60-x-32-foot seasonal outdoor pool, a five-person spa tub, and a sundeck are in a garden courtyard. Designed for lap swimming, the resort's original pool, dating from 1914, is heated, measures 60 x 23 feet, and is located in a building with white-washed brick walls, beachscape murals, and a skylighted wood ceiling. Use of the pool is complimentary.

Spa

The Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa at the resort includes a two-level, 90-foot, freeform seasonal outdoor pool and 12- and 15-person spa tubs flanked by a sundeck and bordered by trees and hedges. Use of these facilities, as well as the spa's fitness center and exercise studio, is complimentary for guests booking spa treatments. Otherwise, there is a daily surcharge.

Golf, tennis, ball courts
The resort features two 18-hole championship golf courses (surcharges), the parkland-style Pines and the Bay, site of an annual LPGA tournament. The resort also has a complimentary putting green, and a driving range (surcharge). The resort's Nick Faldo Golf Institute offers group and private lessons. Complimentary facilities include five lighted tennis courts (two clay and three hardcourt); two lighted, half-sized basketball courts; and two sand volleyball courts.

A complimentary recreation room contains overstuffed seating, televisions with video-game consoles, a card table, and pool, foosball, and air-hockey tables.

History buffs and golfers alike will appreciate the history and lore of this historic property. But to still describe it as a four star property is missing the mark, particularly with the rooms. Our initial room was so musty we had to request that we be moved. The food in the pub/grill was very good bar food - the burger and fish-n-chips were excellent […] but not cheap. The main lobby area is exactly what one would expect and the hallways are decorated with photos and memorabilia from the Seaview's glory days. The grounds are beautiful and we hope to play golf there soon. Keep your expectations on the lower side and you will enjoy this comfortable resort. But as an experienced "four star" traveller I cannot rate this hotel at that level. It would require significant renovations of the bathrooms and attention to detail. Read more

This hotel is beautiful on the outside but mediocre inside. The room are clean but very smal and limiting privacy . It was filled with people who love to golf. Making anyone else feel very much out of place. Other than that, I can't complain

The Seaview CC is a wonderful place to stay when in the Atlantic City area. The Seaview CC is exactly the opposite of the cheesy AC Casino hotels. It is an example of luxury from an era gone by. The only problem we had was that our bed mattress was old and caved in the middle. The rooms were small but nicely appointed.

I would return to this hotel. I did an overnight stay with 3 girlfriends to celebrate a birthday. We had treatments at the spa that were fantastic, dinner there that was delicious and the accommodations were just perfect. Breakfast on Sunday morning was great too. I would definitely return!

Enjoyed it very much. It is an older hotel but it has character. We ordered room service and were pleased with the food. The location is great, easy to get to and then go to Atlantic City.

Nice Hotel, on a nice property but some rooms have an ugly view of the maintenance / garbage area... not well designed. Hotel felt a bit 'stuffy' but rooms are very nice, comfortable beds and nice amenities. Not a fan of the thin walls and doors as you can hear everyone walking down the hallway or the next room over.

Had an overall good time, rooms are nice, historical site with a really cool vintage/modern Nantucket sort of a feel to it. Surrounding area is a cute little beach town near AC. Very friendly staff and nice indoor pool and gorgeous locker rooms and very nice public bathrooms

The hotel is a bit out of the way if you want to go to Atlantic City. A taxi can cost $35-$45 one way. Have to use the company that the hotel recommends to save money. This hotel is great for a weekend getaway but not the place to stay if you want to go to the casinos because of the price of the taxi back and forth. The food in the restaurants was excellent. […] Pool tables...in the basement were a nice surprise and great for kids. Only negative was that the toilet ran non-stop which should have be noticed by the staff doing the cleaning. My concern about a future stay would be that after this recent renovation, the hotel will run down quickly if staff are not noticying things in order for them to be fixed. Read more

We stayed at the hotel for Valentine's Day weekend 2013 and the hotel was a great value for the accomodations. It was truly a 4 star hotel, very clean, well kept and excellent Sunday Buffet. I love the hotel and personal but the noise level was very high and since I was on a vacation day I would have liked to sleep in alittle later. Doors and water noises started at 6am.

Wonderful alternative to staying at a casino hotel (it's only 15 mins from the Boardwalk). The property is beautiful, the staff are very helpful and our room was immaculate. Expedia's price was $10/night cheaper than Dolce's website.

This was our second time at this hotel. Stayed off season, over the holidays. I like historical buildings with character so this fit the bill perfectly. The room this year was even better then last.
