We found this hotel online, not knowing a thing about it beforehand, and after our stay there we will DEFINITELY be back for more. The facility is lovely, old world charm with luxurious modern day conveniences, the beds were the most comfortable that I have EVER found in any hotel anywhere, but what was most impressive was the friendly, warm courteous and professional staff! From the gentleman who greeted us at the door, to the young ladies behind the desk, to the bellman who handled our luggage, to Rosie, the charming woman from housekeeping who helped us get our things downstairs when we were struggling in the elevator! The breakfast buffet was disappointing as far as selection and quality was concerned, but the staff in the dining room could not have been nicer or more helpful. The amenities are terrific, the entire place clean, well-maintained and comfortable, and we were delighted. If you are looking for comfort, elegance, warmth and charm, you've found it!

Seaview was the perfect choice for a weekend in Atlantic City. It was close enough to downtown without the aggravation of traffic and parking. The staff was very pleasant and helpful(from directions to an AC restaurant to changing tee times). The food in their restaurant was excellent and the wait staff attentive and efficient.

My family and I traveled to New Jersey and stayed at the Seaview Resort. I have to tell you that the staff was EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. From the time we checked in until our departure, I did not meet one person who worked there without a smile on their face. In the evening, they played Paul Blart Mall Cop out in front of the pool and it was fantastic. Dinner was exceptional and you have to check out the Sunday Brunch! It is 10 miles outside of A.C. and about 15 from Ocean City, just make sure you get directions before you leave...one wrong turn, you're lost:) Thank you hotels.com!!!

This is a historic hotel by Smithville. It has very thing you need on site. The hotel is clean. If you have children, you need to have alternative entertainment planned. There's not much for kids, unless they like to swim. The family game room isn't that great. I'm not a golfer, so I can't comment on golfing. Overall, this hotel is worth the price.

This resort is a gem. I didn't think there were such classy, lovely and gracious hotels left that were affordable. The staff was exemplary; welcoming, friendly and couldn't do enough to help us. There is a wonderful Red Door spa with a private pool on the property as well as indoor and outdoor pools. We plan to go back every year. Outstanding.

The golf courses are excellent and most of the golf staff are professional and friendly. The hotel, originally built in 1914 is historic. Marriott made a number of improvement before Dolce took over so the rooms have been upgraded. The food is much better now but still not great. The pool area was so bug invested we couldn't stay outside but this is the first time this has happened and the staff said it may have been because of all the rain. Even so the pool area needs to be improved. If you don't care too much about the hotel and just want a place to stay near Atlantic city and play quality golf then I would recommend it.

Then there was the group of adults who had no consideration for others. I was awakened at 3 AM by their noise. The hotel is convenient to AC. The rooms are small but nice. The buffet breakfast which was included in our plan ( thank you hotel.com) was excellent.

The Marriott Seaview Resort and Spa was a wonderful experience...from the Red Door Spa, the Circular Dining room, staff, service all exceeded our expectations. It's proximity to Atlantic City, approx. 15 minutes provides convenience yet away from downtown. We look forward to going again. Since this was a last minute spontaneous trip, I tried making reservations through the 800 Marriott reservation line, directly with the hotel, which advised me that the resort was sold out for the week-end. I then tried Hotels.com, and got my reservation. What a pleasant surprise!
