The people that worked there were super friendly and helpful. Gave great tips on where to go and what to eat. The GPS address was not where the hotel was but it's in a round about so you just have to be looking around for the hotel as you get closer. Very convenient to getting into the city by car.

This is a motel style hotel. Free parking and internet. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel that takes you to the main station and then you'll have to take another bus into the market square. This motel is cleanier than your typical motel. The location is convenient, close to highway and about 10 mins from market square.

The traffic noise was quite disturbing. If you're going to stay here, I'd recommend asking for a room on the non-road side of the building. Secondly, if there is anyone staying in the room above you, you will be able to hear every sound they make on the floor as they're not carpeted. Our stay was fleeting but the room was clean, there was plenty of hot water, and a kettle and biccies for our rushed breakfast in the morning. We didn't really interact with the staff other than to organise the pick-up point for the room key when we arrived after normal hours - and that was no problem for them.

I chose this hotel because you clearly stated that it is located opposite bus & train station. How disappointing : train station is over 2km away. The bus stop outside hotel runs 1 per hour. You have to walk about 5-10 minutes to get to another bus route which is more frequent. The gentleman at the counter when we arrived was very helpful. The only negative aspect was the coverage of their wi-fi as we were suppose to have it in our room on the second floor and I had to go to the loby to actually have acces. Also, there is only one plug in on the desk and the TV plugs there, therefore no plug for your laptop, Iphone or Ipad. […] They should do something to correct that. Read more

We arrived too late on the first day to check in (after 11 o clock) but there was a number to call, which we did, and a lovely lady who spoke excellent English gave simple instructions on how to access our rooms. The rooms are basic but clean and functional - enough for what we needed, i.e. just a base for exploring Bruges. […] The breakfast was very satisfactory: fresh breads, pastries, fruit, cereal yogurt, juice etc - all very tasty. A nice size hotel in a good location for drivers, very close to Bruges Old Town, it was no distance to a very good quite central car park. Good clean room, fine food, staff v pleasant, but building in need of a lick of paint here and there. However, overall, that did not detract from a very nice short stay.

If you would like to explore Bruges, this hotel is perfect. They have free parking, close to Bruges town centre, next to motorway and just 1 hour drive from Calais. The corridor getting to the room is also a balcony to the grassland, which is very pleasant to take a break in the morning. I love the big windows in the hotel room and they are very clean. […] As with other review, the only down side is the sound insulation. It is not very good but a pair of ear plug can help to reduce the noise. Campanile is value for money. One point to notes, there is some construction works which block the way if you are coming from Calais. Try to put the street name in your sat nav and leave at junction 8 (as I remember) instead. Booked the room informing them I had a baby and was traveling alone so they put me on the first floor which would have been fine if they had had a lift or even offered to help me get to my room with baby and baggage The menu in the room also said that the restuarant was open till 10pm but by the time I had managed to get down there at 9.40pm I was told […] as I did not have a reservation it wasn't possible to have anything from the set menu which was very disapointing after a long drive. This is a good location for seeing Brugge. City centre is a 30-40 minute walk or take a bus. Our only problem was that we had to wait more than an hour after ordering dinner before our food came. This was due to a coach party being in the hotel that evening. Solution: make sure there are no coach trips in!

Campanile is always good value. This one is good for a business stopover easy for the motorway but it means a drive to the city if you want the tourist sights and restaurants. Well stocked buffet with good choice at breakfast .

nearby roadworks mean that the quickest route to the hotel from the motorway is blocked and a not very clear diversion system is in place which sends you back to the motorway to leave at the next exit. Satnav's proved to be useless in this situation

Campanile Hotel, Bruges. Very good, standard hotel; a short car drive from city centre, but there was a convenient multi story car-park, and the hotel was reasonably priced to offset this. Breakfast and dinner both good.

The hotel was like a typical motel. Clean rooms, free wifi, helpful staff. The biggest downside is it's out of town. If your in a car it's fine, you can drive 5 mins to the station and park all day for Eur2.50. Then it's 10 mins walk into town or get the free bus. However if you want to try the local beer you can get a bus but it's nit that frequent […] or walk for about 30mins. We chose walking as it was a nice day and got a taxi back for eur12 which felt expensive for a 3pm drive. Overall, a fine hotel for the price but if it's location you're after it's not for you. This is a basic but really lovely hotel. Very reasonably priced and ideal for a short stop off in Bruges. Best to drive into the town, if you follow the road to Bruges, there's a free car park just opposite the train station. Takes 10 mins to walk in. Had trouble finding the place as the sat nav took us to the wrong place (the hotel was actually hidden on the opposite side of the road). Only stayed 1 night and it was fine. Vriendelijke ontvangst,kamer 130,daar moeten alle gasten van die kant, voorbij dus 's avonds een beetje geloop maar heerlijk geslapen, perfect bed-en beddegoed,heerlijk ontbijt.Klein minpuntje: de croques werden in de oven gemaakt, niet bruin, de kaas niet gesmolten...heb het ook gemeld verder alles in orde, lekkere soep ook :)
