"Good Value & Dog-Friendly"
This was a good "pet-friendly" hotel on the way to our destination. The pet-rooms were on the first floor and convenient. The coffee-maker in our room did not have the right pot, so it did not work correctly. There was some noise from upstairs tenant, which was annoying, as we were tired and it was quite late at night. We had a little trouble finding […] the driveway in, as the lights for the entrance sign were not turned on. The continental breakfast was quite adequate. I would recommend they have a table near the coffee decanters for adding creamers and sugars to coffee, near to the trash containers. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Rest and relaxing"
Clean room and bathroom. Tons of snow but they did a good job removing it. The staff were excellent and the continental breakfast was very good. Going back to Maine in May and already reserved my next room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We've been coming here on and off for years, and I have to say that since the newer owners have taken over, each year brings about more updates and positive changes. This time, the big thing was flat screen TV's as well as several gluten free breakfast options upon request. This is by no means a high end hotel, but location, convenience, service, and […] cleanliness make for a very pleasant experience. Keep up the good work, guys! "Close to family"
It was overall pleasasnt, but the bathroom, although fairly clean, is showing signs of wear and tear. There are what seems like permanent stains in the bathtub and cracks along the drywall joints. Nevertheless we give it a overall rating of 3.6. Great price, amenitites (fridge and microwave included, pets at no extra cost, Wi-Fi) and a fairly decent […] continental breakfast for a reasonable price, makes it all a place to go back to when given the chance. The first room we checked into had beer bottle caps on the floor and a gross bug like thing hanging from the ceiling. We switched rooms. The new room was better but was still somewhat dirty. We saw potato chip crumbs behind the bed headboard. The breakfast coffee was the worst tasting coffee I have ever had and the choices of food were limited.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Close to LL Bean shopping"
The floors were dirty, the blow dryer was disgusting (I put a washcloth over the handle). We had to walk outside in the cold to get down to the office and breakfast. Would not stay there again. Staff was nice, but that doesn't make up for the other pitfalls.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
very helpful staff, willing to helpGenuine Expedia guest review
It served us well for a shopping trip to freeport.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Girls Shopping weekend"
Stayed for one night to go shopping in freeport. Great location close to highway and shopping. Coud room was spotless. Clean smell, not perfumed or trying to cover anything. Beds were very comfortable.Genuine Expedia guest review
Considering the price, it was a good value. The only negative is: the lack of space for patrons to sit down and have the continental breakfast.Genuine Expedia guest review
the hotel was old but clean. As a house cleaner I appreciate that the crew took pain staking efforts to make an old area clean. They do need to upgrade the heating unit as it is noisy but what hotel doesn't need to fix that? The beds were very comfortable, but they could do with an actual size pillow and 4 pillows per bed is much nicer.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"fine for overnight"
I checked in later in the evening, and the woman at the desk was wonderful! She was funny and offered me all different kinds of recommendations if I was looking to go out. The hotel had gotten my request for microwave and fridge in room and even was able to place my room farther away from the stairs/elevators. The room was sufficient, and clean (except […] for the few hairs that always seem to find theirt way onto the shower walls!) The hotel is not recently renovated, but was comfortable and close to everything for a reasonable rate. My only dislike was I had expected a friendly outgoing person on the desk in the morningas well, since the night staff was so accommodating. The day staff was not. She spent the time on the phone, didn't ask if I needed anything, didn't engage with any of the people staying there and eating. SHe checked people out without ever getting off the phone. Other than that one person. I wouldn't mind staying here again for business. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hotel meets my expectation"
Nice and comfy hotel. Complimentary breakfast. Friendly staffs. Close to Freeport Outlet.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good location close to our relatives & shopping"
Room okay at best. It was clean and comfortable but well used. We left a suitcase in the parking lot by mistake & we were called by the hotel staff less than 15 min. after we left the hotel. Great service!!!!!!Genuine Expedia guest review
Clean Good conditionGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Wish the windows opened. The place is wicked stuffy unless the the terrible (noisy stinky) ac unit is on.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Functional hotel room"
Nothing special but a relatively clean place to sleep for the night. Had decent bedding and comfortable bed. There was a relatively new TV. Nothing to brag about but functional.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Best ever per econo"
Starting with the whoppie pies at registration...Allllll was Great!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Decent for the price"
For the price, a decent, basic motel. Less noisy than most, and free wifi and breakfast. For the location in particular, a good deal.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great Location For Travel..how about clean sheets?"
Right off the highway. Econo Lodge is usually decent. But the sheets on the bed were covered in animal hair. Front desk told us there was no one around to change them for us but we could pick up sheets at the front desk and change them ourselves? Wow.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Shopping and a visit to the Desert in Maine"
The hotel was very clean, the staff was very friendly, and the location to shops and Desert was excellent.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Simple, clean hotel"
There is not a lot of bells and whistles to this hotel. It's a place to sleep and keep your stuff in. The staff was very pleasant and the room was clean. The whoopie pie they gave us was delicious. Overall, we had no complaints and had a very nice little vacation.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Just what we needed"
This was our second time using this hotel as a stopover on our way to Bar Harbor. It was clean, quiet and the continental breakfast was surprisingly tasty (we had make-your-own waffles and eggs). Definitely the way to go- price was good. Check out Gritty's up the road for a yummy dinner - they have good beer and a healthy kids menu too.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Econodge not pleasant place to stay"
This econodge was not particularly clean. The furniture was in disrepair and two of the lamps were falling apart. There was no decor of any sort, on the walls, and the walls were fairly dirty. To us, it was a BIG disappointment!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great location to enjoy the Maine coast during the day and sleep at night. Rooms were nice, clean and small. Close enough to shopping that I was able to aquire steamed Maine soft-shell lobsters at 6AM to enjoy with the motel's waffles.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"close to shopping"
The service was great, breakfast was a added plus ,and with alot to choose from , Employees were very professional, and everyone smiled , the disappointment I had was The tub was not washed well ,there was hair left in the tub which I washed out .Genuine Hotels.com guest review

PERFECT location just minutes from LLBean stores and outlets. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Clean. Quiet. Nicely decorated rooms. Continental breakfast a plus. Would recommend to a friend.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Just out of the Freeport Fray"
Room was priced right, clean, and location is just outside the Freeport shopping area but within 1/4 to 1/2 mile of it. Good barbecue 200 yards away.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Basic great overall value."
A very basic no frills hotel. Overall clean, quiet even though booked to capacity, excellent Internet very fast strong connection, pleasant staff and I definitely would stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"it was ok...."
Stayed one night. Hotel was located near lots of other chain hotels. About 2miles outside Freeport. Breakfast room needs to be larger though they did provide some outdoor seating. Beds were comfy. They need higher end toiletries. All in all quiet and comfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"home away from home for a week"
sometimes noisy neighbors but overall sufficiently quietGenuine Expedia guest review
Hotel rooms were small and beds were uncomfortable. Free breakfast had very little to offer. For what we received I thought it was overpriced.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Bare Bones Motel"
Motel was quiet and clean and lots of hot water, the staff was very pleasant, and the continental breakfast was adequate. However, the motel is showing its age. The bathroom is barely large enough to turn around, the air conditioner could not keep up with the hot weather and it is dated as if it were the 50's and 60's. The beds were doubles and certainly […] not a king. I did not notice an elevator. I also thought it was overpriced but the location does make it so. It also appears they also accept pets which is a plus for those traveling with small pets. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Good quality for EconoLodge"
We had a good experience staying at this hotel. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. I felt comfortable here and the free parking and wifi was nice. Continental breakfast was also a plus - it had some nice options for breakfast. It was about a 20 minute drive to Portland and in a good location in Freeport right off the highway, so it was a […] convenient place to stay. Would definitely recommend it! "Easy access, pet friendly"
We very much enjoyed our stay at the Econo Lodge Freeport, ME. The location couldn't be beat and it felt clean and updated. We had a bit of an issue with the pet fee (paid the extra $ in cash when we checked in, were told when we checked out that we hadn't paid), but it was resolved quickly and in a friendly manner. Would certainly stay again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Need of a total refurbishment"
We stayed here many years ago when it was a days inn. Its glory days are over. The place needs to be gutted, and repainted along with new rugs, furniture, bedding, etc. Just getting rib of very dated bed spreads and replacing them with a duvet cover and a colored runner similar to what is found at Marriott's and other hotels would make a big difference. […] Place was quiet. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
good value, not the best hotel but not the worst. Good stay for one night.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The accommodations were great. I truly enjoyed the staff. They were friendly and willing to help. If plans take me back to the Freeport area I will book reservations there. The city of Freeport was fun. There are many shops and eateries in town. Everyone was very friendly.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We only stayed one night, but would stayed another one, no problemGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place for the price!"
This hotel worked for what we needed, a place to sleep. More kid friendly options for breakfast would have been better (yogurt, kids cereal, bananas). I would stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"pineland trails 50k run"
our stay was just what we needed for the night. the room was fine and comfortable, the night was quiet, and the hotel was nice enough to start breakfast early for those running the 50 mile race. breakfast was very good and we enjoyed the waffle machine. i hope to run this race in the future and would definately stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Staff were very courteous. Room was very clean and the bed quite comfortable. Only complaint was that the refrigerator made loud noises all night that prevented full nights sleep. We have stayed at other Extended Stay Hotels for less and without the noise from the appliances. We wanted to have a nice seafood dinner in Boston but the staff had no suggestions […] for any local restaurants that served seafood specifically. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
