I stayed here because of a family member having surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. I just thought given the ambiance of the hospital the hotel with the same name would be similar. The hotel was fine, just mid-level hotel quality. The service and location were great though.

Our rooms were very nice, although the beds are VERY firm which might bother some. Breakfast is pastries, cereal, toast, juice & coffee. Their parking lot fills up, but your dashboard ticket will get you out of the neighboring parking ramp for free. Check-in was pretty slow for a quiet time late in the evening.

We were mostly pleased with our stay at the Cleveland Clinic Guesthouse. The only inferior situation was the distance from the elevator to the room itself as I am handicapped.

The room was great, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom had lots of space, The view was great and the staff very helpful and friendly! It was very convienient to be within great walking distance of all areas of the Cleveland Clinic. This hotel is MUCH much better than the University Hotel which i had the unfortunate experience of staying there. […] Will never do that again. They had the boilers running and no ac. It was about 80 in the room and they just told us to open the window. The sink and shower drains were clogged and the room was not very clean. Found two different long hairs on the clean towels. The beds were so hard I could not sleep. The only good thing was it was across the street from the Cleveland Clinic

I chose this hotel due to being able to walk to the heart clinic. The room was very clean and there wasn't a lot of hallway noise. The hotel itself was very old but they did their best to upgrade the rooms. The rooms were very clean. Our shower was broken which made for a disappointing experience after a long day at the hospital. Also, this hotel is advertised as connected to the Cleveland clinic and it is not, but it is directly across the street and an easy walk.

We were there on behalf of my wife having surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. She was in the hospital for five days. The hotel coul not have been more convenient for my laboratory work and medical consultations. It is a nice walk across to the Clinic center and within walking distance to the Cleveland Museum of Art. The staff was courteous and helpful, and the complementary breakfast was adequate and appetizing.

For those attending the Cleveland Clinic with not a lot of mobility, the Guesthouse is perfect. Though somewhat old, has no means of moderating the temperature in the room, is very noisy because you can hear people talking and walking outside your room and next door, plus if you have to open the window to moderate the temperature, the sound of the hospital […] next door is disturbing, the price and proximity can not be beaten. Hotel grossly overpriced. Old and shopworn, ratty carpet and finishes, and very uncomfortable beds. Service was very poor---took three tries to get shower drain unplugged and refrigerator fixed! We stayed one night and thought it was nice. A microwave would be a good thing. The window that opened did not have a good seal and cold air was coming in. We forgot to tell the front desk. We did think the bed was a little one the hard side. I prefer soft. Oh well.

Upon arrival we were greeted with a plesant young lady. After being there two nights I wish she would have given me a little more info about the hotel. I called to the front desk and told them our heat was turned off, and had been off, all day and the room was around 75 degrees. The night clerk offerend me a fan witch after a poor nights sleep because of the heat I wish I had taken the fan. The next day I inqured about the heat. I was informed that once winter arrived the air conditioning was turned off and the heat on. No way to cool the room down except by a fan. Not really a good situation. I feel the hotel is over priced for what you get. I know they probably do a good business but ONLY because of the location right across the street from the Cleveland Clinic. In the future if I have to visit the Cleveland Clinic, which was a wonderful hospital, I would not stay at the Guest House. Read more

I was there less than 24 hours. Location was convenient to Cleveland Clinic which was the reason for my being in Cleveland. I appreciated being able to use a convenient car service between the airport and the hotel.. I was disappointed I couldn't make use of my Priority account that I have with Intercontinental Hotels.

Each room should have two easy chairs. Many guests stay long term because they are with family members who are at the hospital. There is nowhere comfortable to sit and watch tv or read. This is the second time mom and i have stayed here, we were very happy with all the hotel staff and the shuttle drivers, everyone goes out of thier way to make sure you have what you need. The only bad thing is there is still only one elevator the other one is still broken and they keep the heat on way too high in the rooms. The staff was very friendly, professional, and accommodating. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had an impressive view considering that we were only on the 3rd floor. You cant beat the price or quality of this guest inn. the service was friendly and the rooms clean. This is no luxury hotel, but great for a weekend get away that lets you spend your money on outings not the room you stay in.

We were so thankful for our stay at the Guesthouse! I highly recommend it! Only one complaint ..the elevators! However, its free exercise to walk the stairway, and wouldn't say it would be something that would make me not want to stay. Our family and friends were so glad we chose this hotel!

I have never stayed in a hotel that I requested a kitchenette and it did not have a small supply of dish ware and silver ware. Most places that I have stayed have at least a 4 place setting to use, but Cleveland Clinic Guesthouse cabinets were bare, would have brought my own if I knew that. Rooms are clean.
