"Quick overnight stay in Logansport"
I booked this hotel because I needed to stay overnight in town. The hotel was close to EVERYTHING in Logansport, including a Dollar Tree (great for picking up supplies you may have forgotten), CVS, Walmart, McDonalds, Burger King, Applebees, etc. I checked in around 5 PM and was greeted by a friendly staff member. She explained that for bookings on […] Expedia, they required a copy of the credit card (to hold for any room damages I'm assuming). I checked in without a problem and was told where the vending/ice machines were. I got up to my room and found it to be in great condition (clean, no garbage, everything neatly folded and placed). The air conditioning worked perfectly (thank goodness because it was HOT). I requested a wake-up call in the morning (which was done without fuss). In the morning, I inquired about breakfast and found that it had already been put on (at 6 AM I believe). Breakfast consisted of waffles, toast, cereal, cinnamon buns, juices, coffee. The overnight staff that I encountered was very nice and we spent a few minutes chit-chatting. I only encountered one other guest during my whole stay. The hotel was quiet and clean, and the staff was very accommodating. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick overnight stay in Logansport. After pre-paying on line for this accommodation I did not like being asked for a further $50 cash "security deposit" when checking in. I was told the deposit was $100 for those who pay for rooms by cash. Credit card payment was unacceptable for the deposit. What if I did not have $50? Got the the hotel at about 1015 PM with my husband and 2 kids on the day of check-in and were informed that we had to put down a $ CASH "security deposit". Great motel with a great price. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars are the lack of TV channels available and the shower controls are very tempermental. The hotel is currently being renovated and they are making some great changes to the location. I will definitely be going back and I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a "budget" hotel.

Funeral stay - hotel was in disarray due to renovations - hotel staff was nowhere to be found - toilet was gross. Ended up with plaster on our clothes and bags, white powder on our hands from the stair railings. Had to have the room keys reset twice and we were only there for two nights. Had to have the cleaning lady come in to clean the bathroom. The room down the hall looked as though someone had kicked in the door, and from the outside it looked as though someone tried to pry open a window screen on one of the rooms on the first floor. Hotel front desk staff person did not really apologize for the issues - he only complained about the fact that he had been working for 3 days straight and kept saying that things were "no big deal". The only good thing was that the room was quiet at night and there was plenty of space. Would not recommend and will not stay there again.
Me and my bf were coming into town for work. We have service dogs that have to be allowed into hotels. When we asked if we could check in we were told that they would let us stay for a little bit and then they would keep jacking up the prices so that we wouldn't be able to stay there anymore! This "hotel" is run by a 22 yr old who thinks he can make up whatever rules he wants to and "pick" the people he wants to stay at this hotel . This is illegal and unjust!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

The venue was being remodeled and this is not related to that activity. I stayed two nights. After the first morning I did not try the breakfast. Very poor selection. No hot coffee. No napkins. The second night the coffee pot still had the old filter in it. Bed was sloppy. Ice bucket had not been cleaned out. The sign said "under new management". It needs another new manager.

This property has - until this month - been an average, ho-hum 2-star motel. There is new management now, and the upgrades are remarkable. To start with, the entire property has been spruced up, including a bright new paint job on the outside. The new management has replaced the old CRT TVs with large flat-screen LCD TVs; added microwaves and fridges in each room, replaced lamps with the kind that have extra electrical outlets in the base. They've also added a new power strip in each room that gives an additional six outlets. (Previously, there were far too few outlets in each room. There's new ice machines and a new guest laundry. The breakfast hasn't changed, and I liked it. New manager is Kumar Patel, and I'm really impressed with the way he's been renovating the place. It may still be a 2-star motel, but it's at the far high end of the range now.

I stay stay 3 1/2 days a week there every week. So far has fit my budget. Have a very good time when I stay. Employees are very helpful.If you need anything they are there to help out. I recocommend this motel to anyone going thur Logansport and needs a place while there are here.

It was good one night stay at this location. They are doing some major reconstruction with place. Upon check inn manager helped us with check in and he helped us with our luggage to room as well. In room there is new big flat screen TV that I enjoyed watching Sunday night football. With new fridge and microwave. Only down part I think was that room was smelled like new paint which is good for new upgrading hotel but I'm not big fan of smell of paint. But again it wasn't big issue for us. One think I like was that in breakfast they have big coffee cup so I didn't had to go get coffee 10times. Front desk Clark made me strawberry waffle was very good. And had much choice in their breakfast. I will be back in couple months and I recommend this place to anyone who need welcoming and helpful staff and nice stay.

I wanted to be able to write a positive review, as I think it's under new ownership, but they have a ways to go. First, my 'non-smoking' room smelled of stale smoke. I was very tired, so I did not try and get another room and used the outside fan on high to bring in fresh air. Also, I discovered to my dismay that there was no clothes iron in the room...and did not see that until the morning, when I needed it. I was surprised, as other Super 8's I staying in had them. Also, the water in the shower was very hard....never felt I was getting the soap on and getting completely clean. Finally, when I tried to check out the next morning at 5:00 a.m., no one was at the desk nor did anyone respond to a buzzer that was on the desk. I finally just left. The staff were friendly, and the WiFi worked. But,....I am usually a Super 8 fan...but I can't recommend this one.
