The hotel does not have rooms with 2 queen beds AND a sofa bed as we expected from your website. We also did not have a refrigerator. Staff very helpful. Very clean. Nice breakfast.

There was no one on duty at the front desk the whole time I was there. You had to call a number from the desk phone to get service. The bed was so uncomfortable that I had to use the bed pillows as enough cushion to get comfortable. The breakfast selection was poor. At checkout the next morning, it looked like everyone was just leaving their room keys […] on the counter, before leaving, because again there was no one on duty. I won't use this motel again. We needed somewhere to stay for 2 nights while attending a Va Tech football game. Hotel was "fairly" close to Blacksburg. Hotel was really showing its age. Hotel was basically clean but a bit on the run down side. Beds were adequate but extremely soft. Electric Heat/Cooling was veery noisy and hard to conrol consistent temperature. "Free" breakfast […] consisted of stale cereal and somewhat dubious waffles and pastries. If you're looking for the basics ( a place to sleep and shower), this hotel was Ok, a bit expensive but considering this was a fooball weekend in Blacksburg not outrageous. Suggest some advanced planninmg during football season for a nice room. Read more

The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate my needs. The motel does not have food services, but there are restaurants nearby. This is a great location for business travelers.

I have stayed at Super 8 motels before and they were great. This one however was totally unsatisfactory by comparison. The room smelled bad, the phone and remote were really dirty looking. The desk and table in the room were very pretty though.

Pro's: Free Wi-Fi, decent HVAC Con's: old, terrible mattress; cheap pillows; no elevator; poor breakfast compared to other Super 8's; was told that there were no 1st floor rooms available, however, driving around the building after 9PM, saw no lights on in any 1st floor rooms. Maids used a broom to sweep carpets which were dirty.

Good hotel for an overnight stay. The staff was courteous and the hotel is located close to fast food restaurants and a grocery store. My only complaint is that some of the tiles and bathroom fixtures needed a little maintenance. Overall great value!

My boyfriend and I stayed for one night. We were surprised by the reallyreallyreallyreallyreallyreally nice staff and conditions considering it was a 2 star hotel. The non smoking rooms actually smelled like non smoking rooms..... O_o All in all great hotel, will stay again if provided the opportunity.

On checking in, we found plastic and paper debris behind the furniture and fridge in the room. Apparently no effort was made to look there when cleaning. Beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Room was generally OK otherwise and the breakfast was OK, with plenty of selection and volume.

Nice hotel right off I81. Very clean, friendly management, close to restaurants and gas stations. Everything worked well in room (refrigerator, air conditioning etc). Good hotel if traveling with a pet.
