I'd highly recommend this hotel for it's cleaniness, comfort and convenient access to Ginza shops and subways/train stations. The room was nicly arranged with a desk, refrig and sitting chair by exterior window/wall alongside beds and shelves next to closet by entrance. Staff spoke very good English and were extremely efficient. Room was clean and comfortable.Breakfast was average but it was disappointing that they did not have English Breakfast tea available. Would stay there again.

Chose this hotel because it was the only one to offer a double room (two beds) within my budget. Turns out it is a pretty good hotel, with a great location. Just a few steps from the heart of Ginza, including an underground passageway to the Metro. Didn't have an occasion to try the restaraunt, so no idea there.

The room was on the smaller side for a room you'd expect in the US, but a great size for a room you'd expect in Tokyo. The location was great, staff was great, would definitely stay here again. The only downside was that there is no room service beyond the continental breakfast that you can have delivered in the mornings.

This hotel has an excellent breakfast buffet, the rooms are just enough to fit as most asian 4 star hotels. The location is on a secondary street so there is some walking but taxi has access for drop off/pickup. Few blocks to nearest subway station. Clean room and restroom.

We spent two nights at the Mercure in Ginza and it was very comfortable. It was a little tough to find when we first arrived coming out of the subway with all our luggage. the staff was great and the area is nice. Similar to 5th Ave in NYC or Michigan Ave in Chicago.

I can't say enough good about the front-desk staff at this hotel. From helping us arrange for taxis to identifying which subway train to take to calling the taxi company to retrieve the iPod my daughter left behind, everyone we worked with was helpful, courteous and professional in every way. We booked three rooms for me and my family. All were well-maintained […] and had excellent air conditioning. The laundry service was prompt and returned when they said it would, if a little pricey (though probably not for Tokyo). I would definitely recommend this hotel for business or family travel. The hotel is very good located in the center of Ginza, everything walk distance, from restaurants to shops. But.... our room that was NOT SMOKING had a horrible smell of cigarretes, we think the smell came from the air conditioning... Nice Hotel, very friendly staff who speak English well. Biggest plus has to be the location which is right near Ginza station. Ginza is in my view one of the best places in Tokyo where you can wander around for ages and visit sites such as Tsukiji Fish markets by foot. I had free Internet without any hassle at all which helps a lot in business.

Overall we were very pleased with our stay at the Mercure in Ginza. The hotel itself is very comfortable and has large rooms by Tokyo standards. Everything was very clean and dwell presented and the staff happy to help us with baggage storage and ordering cabs. The buffet breakfast had a large selection of foods although the price is on the higher side […] of average. As for location, it's a 10 - 15min walk to Tokyo station and there are several subway stations nearby. Very decent rooms in the heart of Ginza; clean, affordable and near metro stations so it's well connected. The staff were friendly and spoke English. It would have been perfect if there was free wifi in the room. There's wired internet access in the room, but no wireless. (Only in the lobby, but accessible if your room is on a low floor!)

Courteous staff, clean rooms, central location close to 3 subway stations and Ginza shopping area. McDonald's 1 minute away and local Japanese restaurants within 3 minutes walk. General store and Starbuck's 2 minutes away. WiFi is available in the hotel lobby but not in rooms.

We travelled with 2 Adults and 1 child, we were told there would be a roll away bed. We arrived to find only a queen bed,were told it would cost us double the price for another bed. We transferred to a twin room the next day which were alot roomier. The location of this hotel is in an upmarket area, not ideal for travelling around tokyo as the subway […] lines dont all come here. Eating options are limited. Only recommended for couples. A great location down a side street (take a left at McDonalds!) and with a subway station directly beneath (the lift down to B1 leads you into the Ginza Itchome station) - perfect if its raining, as it was for one day with us, and you dont want to get wet trotting down tt he mian Ginza tube station. It is located above the Yurakocho subway station, not railway station, so you would have to be clear about this. Also, it was so well hidden that it took us a couple of days before we could confidently negotiate our way back in the streets, not helped by the fact that all streets look similar (with a Lawson on either end of the block). Mercure Hotel Ginza Tokyo is a great location, in the heart of Ginza, and near to two subway stations. We could visit the attractions easily due to this excellent location, eg. near to the imperial palace and Tsukiji Fish Market. Due to the good orange subway line, we could get to places like Asakusa, Shinjuku, Shibuya, etc, easily as well. Clean, efficient, etc. with no problems. The only special note that I have is that the rooms are very large by Tokyo standards for the price. Room size was more like a European standard, than Japan, but much smaller than USA standards.
