This hotel has a fantastic location. Very close to the train station and all the main attractions. Very clean, very helpful people at the front desk and close to restaurants and stores.

The check-in service was prompt and courteous. We were speedily given our room key and the person checking us in (there were three of us - all female), offered us a map of the city. The bathroom was AWESOME! Newly renovated with marble floors and a HEATED ROWEL RACK - that was the best part!!! Some hotels don't consider the fact that damp towels placed in a damp bathroom does not dry efficiently and a damp fungus smell arises soon after. The heating rack that Drei Lowen installed eliminates that worry. It also creates a more Green method of reusing towels. Read more

It is only half a block from the main train station. The area is a bit seedy but almost all city centers are. Never felt uncomfortable walking in the area of the train station and the hotel. The hotel itself is very nice and maintained very well. As of June 2012, it seems they were rennovating the entrance, so the side door was opened. The staff is all very nice and they all speak English very well. At first, it seemed a little bit like a middle eastern city, but if you keep an open mind, and want to meet people from all over the world, not just Germany, this is a nice area. It is also within walking distance of Marienplatz, and a stone's throw from the train station. Reasonably central location close to the railway station but in the club district by the look of things. This was the most expensive hotel on our trip through Germany - as it was October Fest and all hotels in Munich booked. But was probably the worst of them. The price was very good considering the prime location and the free wifi. And the hotel is ok. Its entrance is under renovations at the moment (July 2012) but that does not really bother anyone, the other parts of the hotel are in good shape and not undergoing renovations. There on business trip, and selected the hotel based on the 4 star rating given by Hotels.com. It was in the most dreadful area, arwful surroundings and in red light street. On approach to the hotel the taxi asked 3 times if I was sure I wanted to go there and on arrival the ladies made their precence known. I think this hotel is overrated. The only good thing with it is its location. Besides this, it is a typical "station-zone" hotel with somewhat impolite staff and cheap material. The housekeeping service never looks at the "don't disturb" sign at door. They knocks the door before 9 a.m. and if you cannot answer within two seconds, they directly open […] the locked door! The sheets are not changed daily. This hotel prefers a cheap way in providing soap and shampoo, with refill boxes. But the one in my room was already empty at the first day and they did not refill it throughout my stay. So I had to use my own travel set. Proximity (1min) to train station was very useful. Drei Loewen is 15min walk to Marien platz. A no frills hotel that is probably over priced. Staff are reasonably helpful but a smiling face wouldn't do any harm! Although the immediate neighbourhood is pretty sleazy, with a lap-dancing place and casino across the street, the hotel itself is a pleasant and quiet oasis. […] It is extremely convenient for the railway station and for getting into the city centre, but walking through those streets around the station is not an entirely comfortable experience, especially for a solitary woman. I had a nice stay at the Drei Löwen hotel. It is in a pretty good location with a walking distance from many of the sights to see. Pleasant service, clean room. The surroundings are not great, but not too sketchy either. Decent value for the money overall.

Sentral beligenhet, 1 min å gå fra jernbane og undergrunn. Meget god frokost. Greie rom, gratis wifi. Enkel bar og servering på kvelden, men det ligger mange gode resturanger innen 5 min gange, jeg vil bruke hotellet senere både privat og i jobb.

I have stayed at this hotel during my yearly visits to Munich for 34 years. The convenient location close to the main railway station and just a short walk from the center of the time makes it ideal for business and shopping. The hotel is newly renovated and the rooms are comfortable and clean.

Das Hotel war sehr gut, befindet sich im Moment im Umbau, davon bekommt man als Gast jedoch nichts bzw. nur sehr wenig mit. Das einzige was uns gestört hatte, war: das Hotel ist zum Flur etwas hellhörig und ab spätestens 8 Uhr haben wir das werkeln des Zimmerservice gehört. Vor allem am Abreisetag wurden wir durch mehrmaliges Klopfen an die Zimmertür […] geweckt und gefragt ob wir abreißen bzw. wann das Zimmer gemacht werden kann. Das war sehr professionell. Alles in allem ist das Hotel zu empfehlen. Sehr nah an der Innenstadt. Alles ist in Laufdistanz oder zumindest mit den nahe gelegenen U- und S-Bahnen zu erreichen. Read more

bij het boeken werd geen melding ervan gemaakt dat men bezig was met renovatie. Lounge kon niet benut worden. De minibar rammelde, ondanks melding is er niets gedaan hieraan. Er werd wel korting gegeven op het ontbijt.

あいにくロビー（１F）改装中ということで、Receptionが２階(表示は1.0G)の一部屋の中という、不可思議な雰囲気だったが、対応・サービスは通常の良質なホテルだったので、逆にいい印象を受けた。改装中ということで朝食は通常１５ユーロのところ１０ユーロとお得。朝食の会場・内容ともこじんまりしているものの満足のできるレベルであった。　部屋は小さめながら（シングル）、40inch薄型TVがついておりこれまた必要最低限はクリアといったところ。バスルームが広いので、圧迫感はない　バスルームについては、換気設備が見当たらない？ため、窓を開けて（普通に横開きもするが、上方をチルトすることもできるという優れもの）換気という状況だが、空気が爽やかなのでかえっていいかもしれない。　同時に町の雑踏の音が入って […] きて異国情緒も感じられる。　２重ガラスになっているためか、窓を閉めるとピタッと静かになるため、寝るのには問題ない。 WifiはPublicサービスを流用というタイプだが、通信速度としては問題ないレベル。４日間滞在したが、そのうち１日夜22時から翌朝8時まで障害が生じ、ログオンできなかったが、その後回復した。 部屋の入り口ドアが２重になっているので、開閉に違和感があるが、慣れれば問題ない。　鍵も、カード型でなく、クラシックな金属カギ。　懐かしさを感じる。 オーバーオールで、クラシックなものの改装で新しさも取り入れた、重厚感のある簡素なホテルという印象だった。 Read more
