A short guide to Tiergarten
Tiergarten, an expanse of greenery located in the city centre, is Berlin's largest park and features the Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate, Victory Column, Bellevue Palace, Soviet Memorial and the zoo. Extensive renovation of the government quarter along the Spree, including Potsdamer Platz and the main train station, has spread to land that was formerly the border zone. The park is popular with runners year round and outdoor food vendors in summer.

"Good location for sights"

We were told that the hotel was l/10 of a mile from the Brandenburg Gate which is the area we wanted to be in for alot of sightseeing but it turned out to be a 45 minute walk each way from the hotel. That is the only downside though to this hotel - friendly staff, free internet service, comfortable room. reasonably priced restaurant close by. Train station by hotel.

"Super hotel with good location"

Upon entering the hotel, the large and spacious foyet gives a good first impression. It has a modern and sylish feel to it which is carried on through the restaurant and bar, right upto the rooms themselves. Even the lift is modern in that you need a room card to operate it! Our room was very comfortable, with 2 double beds and some space for a travel cot (after a small re-shuffle of the furniture). There is internet access for guests at the back of the foyet area, which was good to catch up with weather forecasts along our travel route etc, and alongside a small area with a small selection of toys to keep the kids occupied for a short while. Right outside is an S-Bahn train station and the park area. For eating we had to walk 20 minutes to find a range of restaurants bars. The breakfast buffet had a good range, and good quality food....especially if you like chocolate covered strawberries for breakfast!

Excellent location for a visit to Berlin with idela access to the S-Bahn for all central attraction and also ideally located for some quite time in the vast Tiergarten. The Hotel itself was perfect, we took two children at no extra cost either to the room or the breakfast at 17 euros per Adult. Alittle steep but the selection was fantastic, especially the fresh made to order Waffles for the kids, endless coffee... The hospitality was also great, had a perfect play area so we could continue eating breakfast in peace.There are also one or two great resturants located very nearby especially the 'Giraffe' which also had a great play area away from the other guests.

Brugte hotellet i forbindelse med weekenden Berlin Maraton. Kan klart anbefales. Kunne stå på tagterrassen og følge alle løberne. Ligeledes udtjekning søndag kl. 17 - helt perfekt at vi kunne have værelset i så lang tid.

Et supert hotel med en super beliggendhed tæt på Kurfürstendamms shopping mekka, tæt på offentlig transport som gør det nemt at kommer rundt og opleve Berlins seværdigheder. Udover store lyse værelser og super service.

Børnevenligt med legerum hvor der er gratis internet, xbox spillekonsol og kasser med lego, briotog osv. Meget børnevenligt. Lækkert wellness der er inkluderet i prisen og skøn tagterasse med smuk udsigt over tiergarten og kurfurstendamm.Her kan man evt. spise sin medbragte aftensmad. Ligger perfekt hvis man har børn med- lige op af zoo.

"Et godt og centralt beliggende hotel i grønt område!"

Et rigtig godt hotel for billisten som er kørt til Berlin, lukket garage og yderst centralt beliggende. Et stort minus er dog prisen på internetadgang på værelset som er helt urimelig dyr! ...dog findes der 2 pcér som kan bruges U/B i reseptionen.

"Perfect hotel for holidays"

This hotel is in the center of Berlin, about 10 min walking from the famous Berlin Zoo. There is a S-Bahn station very close on it (20 meters ago). The stuff is extremely kind and polite. Large rooms, free internet, free Playstation 2, free Gym and many more. The only problem is that near the hotel there are not any markets or any kind of stores to buy something.

Bodde ett par dagar strax före Jul på detta hotell och kan verkligen rekommendera det - mycket prisvärt!! Ett halvt stenkast från S-bahnstation Tiergarten och därmed hela Berlin inom räckhåll på ett ögonblick. Hade gärna stannat över Nyår och upplevt nyårsfirandet på Strasse des 17 Juni, där ju hotellet ligger. Kan bara hitta ett minus - sängen, som var i hårdaste laget... /Per, Sthlm

Fräscht, modernt, kanon service. Överträffade alla förväntningar. Rekommenderas varmt. Mitt emot pendelstationen. Enkelt att ta sig därifrån till de flesta sevärdeheterna i Berlin. Gångavstånd till Unter den Linden. VI ÄR JÄTTENÖJDA!

Travelling around and been to a lot of hotels, and its been our first time to use Novotel, but i guess this is not the last ,yet it will be the beggining ..havin two kids with us and still it makes its easy and relaxing in this hotel..keep it up!!!

Ist zwar primär eine Kette, die hauptsächlich für Geschäftsleute ausgerichtet ist, jedoch ist die Lage genial für das erkunden der Stadt und die Hauptsehenswürdigkeiten. Die S-Bahn ist direkt vor der Tür und das Hotel ist komplett renoviert. Schöner neuer Wellnessbereich.

verrast! Door de kwaliteit van de keuken (goed gevarieerd menu, zeer smakelijk toebereide gerechten, mooi ogende presentatie, ontbijt buffet een lust voor oog en maag); door de restaurant ruimte (ruim, comfortabel, licht, goede kleuren); en met name door de hoogst professionele en toch welgemeende, hartelijke en persoonlijke bediening was een plezier. Ook mijn 13-jarige zoon voelde zich volkomen op zijn gemak terwijl hij zich in hotels naar hij zegt doorgaans gevangen voelt.

Eher ein Tagungshotel. Im Restaurant Schichtbetrieb, beim Frühstück sehr voll, Bar nur durchschnittlich. Sonst sehr guter Service und gute Betten (Queensize).
