    I stayed here before spending the next morning hiking at the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. The hotel is less than 10 minutes from the entrance to the park, and there are some inexpensive restaurants within walking distance. The room was ready when I arrived, and it was impeccably clean. You can tell that this hotel has undergone some serious […] renovations - and they did a fantastic job. Warm paint colors, new counter tops, new thick carpeting. The front desk attendant was very nice and efficient. We had my paperwork ready to go when I arrived. The free breakfast was right there in the main lobby.     We stopped at Super 8 in Montrose after a long day of driving thru Utah and were pleased to find such a great find. The hotel has only been open 5 months and the rooms are brand spanking new. Shower was fine, bathroom and bed were very nice. Heating system could use a little tweaking but I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Great hotel.

    floor in rm 217 is slanted several degrees making for an awkward feel to it... bed is slanted. Noise level of the cleaning staff was unacceptable even for a bargain hotel.... slamming of doors at 7 am on a Sunday morning after a late night of work left us wanting for more sleep. The room was clean and adequate for our stay. However, we had to have a […] maintenance person in to ensure the air conditioner worked properly and didn't cut off..... very convenient to several fast food restaurants. The breakfast service gave little consideration to the needs of a diabetic by offering no items sugar free... would love to have had a waffle with syrup. Parking well lit and convenient.     The hotel stay was nice. Our room wasn't overwhelmed with the left over smell of cigarette smoke. Some hotels just can't seem to get free of that odor. This hotel was not such case. The breakfast was simple just a continental type, OJ, cereal and coffee. The staff were polite and friendly. It was right on Hiway50 coming in from the east and we were […] headed east back to Pueblo,CO. That was very convenient. We had the GPS so that wasn't to hard to find coming from Durango, CO.
