hotel situated in Daly City right next to a bus stop into San Fran but the bus takes at least an hour!!! It's located on Geneva street which wasn't very safe and made the ppl who are travelling with me feel very unsecure and afraid to travel too and from it. it was such a shame as the motel it'self is really nice and just what we needed- but i definitely won't stay here again due to it's location.

Aarti and her husband couldn't do enough to help us. They told us which busses to catch, and where to catch them. They gave us a map, then went through every place of interest in San Fran. Breakfast was continental plus (3x cereals, 3x oatmeal flavours, yoghurt, sticky buns, fruit, fruit juices, coffee & various tastes of tea + free newspapers. Room was basic but very clean (all staff very helpful). We booked 2 nights over the inertnet for our arrival in SF then liked the place so much when we got there we booked in for our last night before returning home. It overlooks the "Cow Palace" which is an excellent landmark for finding your way back to the hotel. Great place for seeing the SF sights from (Fishermans Wharf & Pier 39 are a 75p bus ride away)

Pros – view to the East – Beautiful sunrise Comfortable bed Nice front office staff Best to have a vehicle because for people in this area it seems to be “way out there”. Keep in mind, I am from the Midwest and let me tell you, it is not “way out there”. Con: Toilet seat is loose Drapes did not open easily Short hairs in the bathroom upon my arrival. This is a basic room, few frills but a nice place overall. Room had wireless internet access, coffeemaker, fridge, microwave, iron and ironing board. With a little more maintenance it could be very nice. I would not have a problem staying here again.

Finding a good inexpensive room in San Francisco is difficult. The few I have ever found were on busy streets with city noise all night long. This place is in a quiet residential neighborhood and was clean with pleasant front desk service. The downside is that even though I had a non-smoking room there was a slight residual smoke smell. I was able to open a window because of the quiet. So be sure to ask for a REAL non-smoking room if you stay.

This place is was nicer then I thought it would be. It's in a decent area that is very quiet. We were there for a 49er's game & stayed 2 nights and loved it! The rooms are small & cute but we didn't mind it since we were out and about. The beds were comfortable and have more then 2 pillows. I loved that it had wood floors and color on the walls, made it felt warm. I also did like the set up of the room, we are a family of 4 and for the kids to have a separate room was awesome plus we had a small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The closet is small but there is a dresser and 2 small night stands where you can put your items. They had an iron, ironing board & a blow dryer. I have stayed in many other places in San Fran. were I have paid more the $100. per night + parking and none of them have been this cute. They have Wi-fi, breakfast pastries & cereal in the morning and they actually leave enough towels for you so that you do not need to ask for more. The man in the front desk was awesome! He helped us with the bus route to Candlestick and was always there to help us with anything. I will be staying here from now on because we had a GREAT experience. I totally recommend this place to small families like us that are on a budget and are not to picky about how big the room is. You can't go wrong at this price! .

The advertisment picture is soooo not to be trusted. The name should be Alpine motel/ mobile home because it looks like a mobile home, really. For the price I paid, it's totally not worth it. Days Inn which was nearby is way better and $20 less/night. Good thing we only stayed a night. No tub, just shower. The sink has a complimentary tray of shoe shine wipes, shower cap and make-up remover, but the tray they place it in was made of rattan and sooo disgustingly dirty. I could have taken a pic but i didn't have my camera. The front desk guys were courteous but not friendly. Please, if you are going to check-in here, ask people who live in Daly City first, because my friends knew this place wasn't good, but too late, i was already there. I should have asked them before I made the reservations :(

I stayed at the Alpine Inn & Suites for 2 nights at the beginning of my vacation in California. Because of the good experience i came back at the end of my vacation, although that wasn't my initial plan. I chose the Alpine Inn & Suites based on the comments on Hotels.com ans I am glad I did. This is a very good choice for short as well as long stays in San Francisco. At first the I had my thoughts about the neigbourhood it is in and location seemed to be a little far from downtown San Francisco. But that didn't last long. The staff is very friendly and helpfull and can advise you on how to get to the city and what to do. The rooms are clean, spacious and are equipped with all you need. The setting is nice, like little apartments. Just as the rooms, the couryard is kept very clean.

I chose this hotel based on the price and the reviews. This is a great little place. It is very comfortable and clean. It looks like the rooms have been remodeled recently. The staff was very polite and seemed genuinely concerned about out comfort. The only reason I rated this place 4 out of five was because of the location. While not a problem for me, the neighborhood could be somewhat undesirable for those who are accustomed to more affluent surroundings.

I just came back from spending one week visiting my son who lives in San Francisco. Since I don't like Hotel Chains I always read reviews on local places to choose one for my travels. That is how I chose this hotel. We could not have been more please. The rooms are incredibly clean, the staff in friendly and goes out of the way to please you. We originally we put in a room without a bath tube. Since I love baths and don't have a tub a home, I asked if we could move to a new room. Not only they said it was no problem but they moved out luggage for us and even the fruit and juice we had in the small fridge. The breakfast is simple but sufficient. The only thing I would say is that the Internet connection is a bit slow. But it is free so, how can you complain? Since my son will be staying in SF for a while, this will be my new home away from home.

Inside one room with bed, microwave, coffee-maker and fridge, then go on to a little bathroom with a shower and (they unlocked it for us) another door to a second bedroom for the kids. Conveniet located to visit San Francisco and also very convenient to the airport. Office opens at 7.30 a.m., that's quite late, but we just left the key-card in the room. We liked it!

Breakfast, coffee, etc was also provided. The room was clean, the parking was easy, the neighborhood was quiet and there wasn't that much traffic. This motel was near Highway 101 so it was easy getting around. I'm glad we didn't stay at a hotel/motel in downtown SF. Traffic is horrible there.
