The BodyHoliday All Inclusive - Cap Estate

Overall, one of the finest resorts we have stayed at. The Caribbean can sometimes render resorts somewhat shabby in appearance, not true here. The property and the hotel were pristine. The food was excellent and the staff were very attentive to your needs. While sitting on the beach, you "raise your flag" and within minutes a staff person is there to […] attend to whatever your needs. There is a plethora of activities included, sailing, water skiing, tubing, to name a few. If booking through Expedia, it is definitely advisable to go directly to the resort website and book your inclusive daily spa treatments in advance. We did not do this, and the resort generated a random schedule before our arrival. The problem is that most of those appointments were early in the morning, which is the least popular time. Trying to reschedule to the afternoon was nearly impossible. As for the room, they were neat and comfortable. While they say there are 110V outlets in each room, ours had only one, and none in the bathroom. It was a minor inconvenience, but adapters would have been helpful. This was our best experience in the Caribbean to date. We did not really like Jamaica or Antigua, but we would go back to The BodyHoliday in St. Lucia in a minute. Read more

My girl got seasick on the sunset cruise that is on a large boat, I told the staff and they called up Eric who whisked us away to the mainland to go back to the hotel on a windsail type boat. I stumbled upon this hotel through websearches and decided to give it a try. It was an absolutely wonderful 5 days. On average I took 4 different exercise/yoga/pilates a day with options running all day long by top quality instructors. In addition, water sports including scuba were all included in the rates and then you topped off your day with a massage […] just before watching the sunset in the wonderful location the hotel is located in. The food and drinks were good, but for me it was the setting right on the ocean (must get a ocean front of ocean view room) and the variety of top quality activities to whip anyone into shape. Le Sport is a wonderful resort! Most all the employees there are super nice and efficient. It is definitely a destination for someone who wants an active holiday. There are great water sports and land sports. The spa is great for a little pampering, but also lots of fitness classes. They also have dance classes and walks, jogs, and bike rides around […] the area. Every evening there is a "night life" activity. The variety of resteraunts make sure you have a selection of dining experiences. There is a focus on the healthy, but also plenty of decitant choices. Make sure you try the local rum. Do take the Rythum of Rum tour of the local distillary. My personal favorite drink is ginger ale with Chairman's Spice Rum. LeSport was great. Food was great, plenty of options, and the three restaraunts were always open. Staff was friendly, prompt, and a pleasure to converse to. Alcohol was good in quality and quantity. Daily massages were amazing. Amenities and activites were amazing. Yoga, Fitness, Golf lessons, Archery lessons, Personal training, Water skiing and Tubing […] in the ocean, Sailing, Circus act, and more, too much to name. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left the BodyHoliday our trip was fun and relaxing. From the staff to the guests we encountered such friendly people. The private seclusion of the resort was wonderful. The varieties of food and activities were amazing and cannot be beat anywhere! Menus are well marked with symbols for shellfish, heart smart, vegetarian, gluten-free, etc. And all the food was wonderful. The spa treatments were second to none. I enjoyed every single treatment I received. My favorite was definitely the ocean wrap. I had five ocean wraps and one lime and ginger scrub wrap. I went in with some soreness from my workouts each day and came out completely refreshed and pain-free. The activities were plentyful and the fact they were included in the price was amazing. We went sailing, snorkeling, tubing, and water skiing. We participatd in yoga, gym workouts, and pool fitness classes. There were more activites than one could even imagine participating in. And again, they were all included in the price. The evening cocktail party and the returners sunset cruise aboard a 60 ft. catamaran were so much fun. Our family of five recently stayed at The Body Holiday resort. It was our first visit to the property and we were very pleased with everything. The staff is friendly and polite, the property is clean and appealing, the Spa is very impressive, the waterfront is very pleasant, and the food is excellent. We stayed here for a week in April - and found the staff attitude generally the worst thing about the place. Whilst there were a few exceptions to the rule, generally the impression we were left with was that the staff operate in 'silos' as separate little units: Good: Oasis - the spa staff were generally good / excellent Cariblue - generally good Bad: Watersports […] - a group of young lads, very cliquey and not interested Cleaning staff - rude Reception - useless, we arrived early as we were already on the island and despite emailing that morning to give them the heads-up they did not deal with us at all professionally. We were left sitting in reception for ages, then told someone would show us around and they didn't show up. From there, they were slow to deal with queries. Clubhouse - pathetic. Run by a chap called Mr J.... - who called himself a manager but just appeared to harass and bully his staff in my opinion. When we raised a query with him I felt he tried to bully us into submission rather than listen to the point being raised. Scuba - generally good, shame there is no Pontoon / Jetty so you have to wade out to the boat - to shoulder deep water. You have to wear your wetsuit and carry your BCD and regs and fins etc, meaning you can't get out of the wetsuit after the dive - which is not nice. No inside seating on the boat - which is very small. The property is very tired. There is a refurb going on this summer - long overdue in my opinion. However, from what we were told - the staff are not being paid for the 3 month period it is closed (unless they work on the building site) - so perhaps this explains their poor attitude as they are going to move on to other places?? Also, we did overhear two managers talking about the hotel being sold - so again, perhaps the current management have let things slip? Who knows and who cares, we would never stay here again. - idéal pour les sportifs: on peut y pratiquer tous les sports que l'on veut, choix très important d'activités sportives - personnel de l'hôtel très sympa et disponible, notamment les bodyguards ("moniteurs qui encadrent les activités sportives) et le personnel du restaurant "le tao" - repas proposés très corrects pour un pays anglophone - situation […] géographique exceptionnelle: très belle vue sur la mer des caraibes, au bord d'une très belle plage où l'eau est très claire - bel hôtel, chambres comfortables - seul bémol! nous sommes arrivés à 14h30 à l"hôtel et nous n'avons été accueillis par personne à l'entrée. Nous avons dûs nous rendre à la réception tout seuls... Pourtant, à l'entrée de l'hôtel, il y a un endroit dédié spécialement à l'accueil de la clientèle avec notamment verre de champagne... Lorsqu'on est arrivé, le champagne était bien là avec les coupes sur une petite table mais personne pour nous le servir et nous amener ensuite à la réception... Quand on est passé là 1h plus tard, il y avait cette fois quelqu'un pour remplir les coupes! Je reconnais que c'est un détail mais ça nous aurait fait plaisir d'être accueilli comme n'importe quel client... Mais visiblement, il ne faut pas arriver avant 15h, heure officielle d'arrivée!
