"Facilities & amenities were all that was promised."
The dining and choices were much better than my spouse and I anticipated. The staff was very friendly....everyone. Facility was very clean and pristine. The spa treatments were very professional and as a whole exceptional. No complaints whatsoever. Highly recommend to anyone.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Fabulous All Inclusive"
This is a wonderful resort, where nearly everything one could want is available. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained. There are dining options for most meals and the food is uniformly delicious. They graciously accommodate any dietary request. Liquor is included, and one need only raise a flag while sitting on the beach in order to be served. […] The exercise classes and sports are first rate, as are all instructors. The daily spa treatments, which are part of the package, are relaxing and professional. We took classes ranging from zumba to pilates to yoga, worked out in the well equipped gym, water skiied, wind surfed, bicycled, snorkeled and relaxed. The staff is friendly and helpful. A perfect get-away. Most guests were British, and the place has a UK feel, including afternoon tea. A nice change from most resorts on St. Lucia that are populated with only Americans. "The place to stay in St. Lucia"
There was our second trip The Body Holiday. We returned because of the location, facility, and most importantly, the staff. Every staff member has a smile on their face, stops to talk to you, and is genuinely interested in learning about your time at the resort. There is something for everybody at The Body Holiday. You can learn to sail, scuba, water […] ski, play golf, take exercise classes, or just spend the day on the beautiful beach, making sure the ocean doesn't go anywhere. Included in your stay, is a daily spa treatment. That spa treatment can be a massage, facial, or body wrap. Some American men may be rolling there eyes, but don't knock any of it until you have tried it. Most of the clientele is European, mainly British. This is a real plus, because you get the opportunity to meet different and interesting people. The dining tends to run on a European schedule. Lunch doesn't start till 12:30pm, and can be as heavy or light as one desires. Dinner isn't until 7:30, but is one of the highlights of the day. You can eat in the Caribleu dining area ( an open air restaurant), Tao (an exquisite high end, not to be missed meal) or the more informal Beach Grill. This resort is for adults. They recommend nobody under the age of 16. This is not because of any craziness, they simply do not cater in any way to children. There are no kids menus or activities. Two families with teen and young adult children spent several days there for a perfect vacation. The kids tried the scuba, snorkeling, kayaking, catamarans, waterskiing, samba dancing, and massage treatments. And they ate and drank a lot. The adults did some of the above, with more spa treatments, some yoga, and less eating and drinking. It was very […] easy to do anything anyone wanted to try. Our kids would've like a livelier night scene, it is mostly middle aged and older couples, but we parents were happy to keep them more focused on all of the activities offered during the day. "Nice, but overpriced"
We had a great time but this was mostly due to the beach and watersports. Food was pretty good, room was nice but much less than expected for $1000 per night (grand luxury waterfront), we had much nicer rooms and as good or better food in couples/sandals type resorts in DR and Jamaica.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

We loved the bodyholiday! We never repeat places, especially in the Caribbean since it's sort of like one you've seen one place, you've kind of have seen them all - but this is now the exception! My husband and I recently spent one full week of what I now call "Body Bliss" at The Body Holiday Le Sport resort and spa. The food was fantastic (and I'm a foodie snob), the staff and service were phenomenal and the the wide range of inclusive activities and outstanding spa treatments kept us feeling like Royalty! A special call-out is required of […] a few terrific members of the resorts' team-- Sir Calvin (as we called him) who manages the clubhouse bar and dining area is the official customer-service captain!! Sir Calvin-- please put the 'Elijah Special' drink on the menu-- Elijah can tell you the ingredients, we loved it!! Ambrose does an amazing job keeping all of the flowers and landscaping breath-takingly beautiful! And Ms. Mini (native of Bali, Indonesia) has magical hands and provides an authentic Bali massage that one should not miss!! 'Ms. Dayanne' in concierge handles her business extremely well, and makes sure your stay is great! "A completely restful and rejuvenating expereince."
Overall, one of the finest resorts we have stayed at. The Caribbean can sometimes render resorts somewhat shabby in appearance, not true here. The property and the hotel were pristine. The food was excellent and the staff were very attentive to your needs. While sitting on the beach, you "raise your flag" and within minutes a staff person is there to […] attend to whatever your needs. There is a plethora of activities included, sailing, water skiing, tubing, to name a few. If booking through Expedia, it is definitely advisable to go directly to the resort website and book your inclusive daily spa treatments in advance. We did not do this, and the resort generated a random schedule before our arrival. The problem is that most of those appointments were early in the morning, which is the least popular time. Trying to reschedule to the afternoon was nearly impossible. As for the room, they were neat and comfortable. While they say there are 110V outlets in each room, ours had only one, and none in the bathroom. It was a minor inconvenience, but adapters would have been helpful. This was our best experience in the Caribbean to date. We did not really like Jamaica or Antigua, but we would go back to The BodyHoliday in St. Lucia in a minute. This hotel is awesome. The staff is second to none, the food is delicious and it's very clean. My girl got seasick on the sunset cruise that is on a large boat, I told the staff and they called up Eric who whisked us away to the mainland to go back to the hotel on a windsail type boat. How's that for awesome service? I'll definitely be back. Also, […] I noticed a lot of couples at this resort---guys if you want to score major points with your woman book it now!!! "Beautiful Island, lovely resort."
The hotel is beautifully situated on a well landscaped property. It is kept immaculately. We went there to celebrate an anniversary and could not have been treated better by the staff who with rare exception, went out of their way. There is lot's to do!! Almost too much in fact! If you are active you will love it, if not then you will be fine as well […] as there are pools, the beach, and the spa. The rooms are comfortable. The furniture and some of the linens are a little well worn and we had some problems with condensation coming up through the tiles making for a slippery floor. It is worth paying for the sea view. After a few hiccups on arrival, our room was not available until the next day but they made the move smooth and easy and we really had a delightful stay after that. What was exceptional? The Deli and it's staff. Food there is very tasty and healthy. Tao provided outstanding service and a great sense of humor. Also every buffet at the Clubhouse was delicious. Just a great place to sit as well. Tea time and scones I am missing now. The Bodyguards were great. The only downers I can think of were some of the guests who would commandeer loungers and cabanas for the day while off around the resort. This happened a lot and many of us walked the beach looking for chairs while many remained empty, with only a book or hat, sometimes for hours. Also I would hope the piano player seeks new employment because he really doesn't enjoy his job. A great week! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Holiday of a lifetime"
We had a sea view room with balcony and effective air conditioning that ran quietly enough for night time usage. We relaxed in the afternoon in hammocks and sunbeds on the lawn in a cooling shady location under swaying palm trees. All the sun bed areas are serviced by attentive and friendly beach staff, who bring out iced water buckets and drinks on […] request. With towel stacks everywhere there are no worries about bringing towels down from the room. For a foodie like it me it was heaven. I was able to get protein shakes during the day and there were plenty of vegetarian, dairy and gluten free options at all meals. For me though the resort's Wellness Centre is really what made it special. Set in a temple and located on a hilltop overlooking the complex, this is a lovely place to relax and unwind with a cooling breeze and the sound of bird song in the background. Daily massage and other treatments are included in the package and it is possible to pay extra for other more specialist treatments, such as Ayurvedic massage. Above all else though it was the St Lucian staff who made it the most wonderful experience. Caring, empathetic, friendly and genuine their level of customer service was something I had not encountered anywhere else. All this amounted to the holiday of a lifetime where we made friends, relaxed and felt cared for. Here's to the next time but for now we have many lasting memories. Our family of five recently stayed at The Body Holiday resort. It was our first visit to the property and we were very pleased with everything. The staff is friendly and polite, the property is clean and appealing, the Spa is very impressive, the waterfront is very pleasant, and the food is excellent. "Love St Lucia love the BodyHoliday"
12/20/14 Lizzie D Cambridge, England, United Kingdom
We were lucky enough to visit for one week in November. We have stayed before but this time we took our two grown up children. They like us loved the place, and I'm sure will become future guests. There is always so many activities to do they were never bored. We all really needed the break and it did us the power of good, it's true, you give them your body and they do give you back your mind! From the staff to the food to the Spa, everything was perfect, thank you BodyHoliday. Cannot wait to return. Special thanks to Donatia who helped so much with pre visit arrangements.
"Special place but the rooms let it down greatly"

We were recommended to stay at Le Sport Bodyholiday by a number of people who have visited at least once or for some, many times - which was a great start. In this day and age to see that people continually visit is rather impressive. We arrived at the resort after an effortless trip with Virgin, I have to say the cabin crew were without doubt the most friendly we have ever experienced and a total breath of fresh air - thank you to Tracey and Aidan it was hard to forget your names when your service was so good. We opted to fly to the resort by helicopter as a treat, an amazing scenic flight and one we highly recommend as the roads from the airport to the resort would take you about three hours otherwise - we really feel as if we escaped three hours of torment in a sweaty bus but they did fail to mention that our bags would be travelling in the bus as we flew. This meant we arrived at our destination in the clothes we were standing in and as we left the UK. Needless to say we were without our luggage for a further four hours as it caught up so if you do take the helicopter, pack a small bag with bathers and a change and take with you on board as hand luggage. On arrival at the hotel we were a little disappointed to be very honest. A 'very ordinary' arrival nothing to make you feel special as we have flown half way around the world you would expect a little more from this hotel that has a lot to live up to. A very limp smile and cold flannel then standard check in and a walk to our room. We felt as if we had met a Saturday staff member who couldn’t be bothered. Why no General Manager to greet like every other resort of the same standard we have stayed in? The manager at Le Sport (whoever they may be) should go and stay at one of the W hotels and pick up some tips. We have high standards and rightly so when you pay the sort of figures charged from an establishment such as this. We chose an ocean front room (probably mid range in their offering) with balcony to the beach (room 176) which had a little extra space than the others but found it to be very tired, shabby and in dire need of a facelift. Scuffed furniture, dated fittings and worst of all a really awful corridor'esque bathroom with no window, natural light or ventilation, a single sink (why not a double as per the rest of the world?) and unusually the main wardrobe where your clothes have the pleasure of all the moisture as you shower. Just not very clever to be honest and 'a let down' as a base for our two week stay. We were told the hotel was completely full so no point saying anything at the time, it simply ‘is what it is’. Ok, so a disappointing start but it does get better. The communal areas have been upgraded within recent times (thank goodness) and are very pleasant. The main restaurant is elegant and offers spacious dining with vaulted ceilings and open sides to allow the breeze to cool you. All in all very nice. You have a choice of where to eat, the main restaurant which is called Cariblue, The Club House, The Deli and a very odd and much prized restaurant called Tao. Well, safe to say that we don't think any of the journalists have been back since they praised Tao in the 1980's. Gosh, this certainly hasn't been touched since and is heavily relying on its history to fill the seats. Extremely dated, overtly hot and oddly stuffy in such a relaxed environment, Tao is an oddity and I am afraid to say does not work for us - and we like our food, especially of Asian origin. It appears the resort feel a little scared to touch something that once had great credit but as a staunch supporter of evolution, everything must change to keep up with hotel standards - and this is a perfect example. Along with the bedrooms, this particular restaurant desperately needs a re-think. We heard so many people over the course of our holiday mention that 'it is no longer what it was' or 'it used to be so much better' which you can clearly see. A chap mentioned that he was so bitterly disappointed by the resort this year he would not return and has been coming for years - I thought this was a bit harsh to be honest as it was directed towards the food not offering 'what it used to' in terms of quality which I personally would disagree with, I appreciate this was our first visit but the food in general really is rather good. We opted to try their tasting menu in ‘Windows’ which was good, an unusual location in the room that usually houses the buffet during the day but it actually really works, it feels very much like a ‘chefs table’ dining experience and also a lot more ‘up to date’ than Tao. The food in Cariblue is very nice, no complaints at all and varied set menus that change for every evening of your week - very fresh and clean food. The breakfast buffet is superb. An enormous range of cold and warm foods from around the world. You cannot fail to be impressed by the breakfast, I have to mention the wonderful sunshine smile of Carrine who makes the fresh eggs, she is a true credit to the resort and could not have been any nicer! What a lovely lady to see every morning! Afternoon tea was served in The Club House and might as is best described as chaotic. A really nice idea in principal but the staff simply have not got a clue what is going on or even what they are serving. If we could offer a tip to the hotel, serve this as a buffet on the side and not on these fiddly and compromised, old-fashioned trolleys, the poor staff have no idea what they are serving, fumble their way through and made so many mistakes - we thought this was completely unnecessary and was sad to see. You are putting your staff in the firing line with poor knowledge and inadequate tools, we heard so many people getting wound up by the situation or not receiving what they asked for or even receiving nothing at all then having to complain. Simply re-stock a buffet and allow guests to chose what they would like from a well labelled display and let the staff concentrate on serving the teas, coffee and drinks. Such a simple answer surely? We were very lucky to spend the week with Leon Taylor, an Olympian medal winner and a fantastic person to boot. This British dynamo was taking beach boot camp and offering motivational talks throughout his stay, which everyone was raving about. The hotel were very lucky to employ such a nice guy who spent his whole week ensuring that guests were having a great time and offering advice where needed. Leon might as well have been the hotel manager, he looked after everyone where sadly no hotel manager was to be found - again, why no GM? Very odd for such a resort. The spa was good. Rather packed with people which kind of defeats the object but once everyone is within their rooms it becomes a very silent and peaceful place to receive your inclusive treatment. A brilliant idea, an inclusive treatment a day for your duration. Each and every time, the beauty therapists exceeded expectation and provided great service. Yes, they try to up-sell a 'paid for' treatment after each time you visit but that's business and can be ignored or taken on board as required. Lilly the Yoga teacher was superb, friendly and incredible at what she does - another total credit to the resort. We ventured out for supper at a Tapas restaurant in Rodney Bay and then lunch the following day at the Sugar Beach Viceroy Resort, and both times, clearly reminded us just how expensive food can be in a non inclusive environment ruled by tourists. It then hit home just how good the food package actually is at Le Sport and how refreshing it is to not sign for or pay for anything during your stay. The quality of produce is really noticeable, apart from Tao trying to be something that it isn't, the entire resort has this part perfected and credit where it is due. Would we go back? If the rooms were upgraded then yes. Would we pay more for a better room? I think we would need to spend more on the room to be fully satisfied but should we have to? That remains to be seen. It really is a special place, some lovely staff although most are desperately needing guidance from a ‘hands on’ GM, good food, incredible weather in December and a beautiful beach but the rooms really do let this resort down. I will sign up for the email newsletter and hope to receive an update telling me they have been. If this happens, I will make a booking back to stay at Le Sport Bodyholiday.

Recently returned from the BodyHoliday resort, and we were impressed. From the first day to the last staff were amazing, the smiles were contagious. The massage / Spa treatments that were included in your package didn't hurt either. Activities galore. Special shout out to Kim and Boots for an awesome day on the water even though we didn't see any whales. Also to the head Seminole (sorry name escapes me) and to Sydney in the Club House for making us feel special. Hopefully we will be back next year, if not at BodyHoliday then some where else in St. Lucia.
"Wonderful place to relax and destress "

We almost cancelled our trip to Body Holiday because of a broken wrist, but I'm so glad we didn't. From the moment we arrived the staff took great care of us. They are some of the best staff we've ever experienced in the Caribbean. The rooms are a good size, clean and well kept. We had a garden room but still had a view of the ocean from our balcony. The average age of the guests is around 40, and there's no kids allowed, so the atmosphere is quiet and relaxed. The resort has 4 main restaurants included in the all inclusive rate, and all were fantastic, not your typical resort buffets. Despite the health focus of the resort it's easy to put on a few pounds here, especially with the afternoon tea and jars of self serve cookies! What sets this resort apart from many is the inclusion of daily spa treatments, water sports and exercises classes. The spa rooms are of a high standard, and the staff well trained. The water sport equipment is well maintained and there is the opportunity for one on one classes if you need it. My husband took a dive refresher course, and it was very thorough. There is a reef right of the beach, so there are daily shore dives and excellent snorkeling. There are few places that I would return to, but Body Holiday is one of them!
"Good service - worth every penny."
12/18/14 Fiona M
We stayed here for 2 weeks End Nov 2014. It was an expensive holiday for us, but worth every penny, service was fantastic and food was good. We didn't utilise everything available at the resort as there was so much to do and I felt I had to lounge about doing nothing for a certain amount of time as it was 'my break from work', but did feel guilty a little. Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I would like to mention how helpful Felix was in the gym, he was always assisting with useful tips. Not going to go on and on as I agree with most of the other good reviews on TA. The only small issue I had was the Wi-Fi was terrible all over resort but that would have left me with nothing to moan about at all........

My stay at The BodyHoliday, LeSport exceeded my expectations. I went primarily for the yoga that is offered at this resort. Although much more is offered at this resort. Food is fantastic. So Many Healthy choices. Staff is so welcoming and friendly. My room was a good size and had a wonderful view of the sea and surrounding area. I felt very safe. The grounds are lush and manicured. Pools and beach Heaven. The first class Spa I enjoyed everyday. It was a vacation of total relaxation for my mind and body. I recommend The BodyHoliday to anyone and everyone. I will go back again and again.

The resort: Modern. Clean. Very well staffed (both in numbers and welcoming attitude). Nice pool. Right on the beach. Great sunsets. Surrounded by rainforest. The resort is on the other side of the island from the airport (about an hours drive but you have the option of helicopter transfer). Great piano bar ( with air con). The treatments: As.a man who never had a spa treatment before I was a little nervous but the treatments turned out to be a highlight. If you don't like a specific treatment you can always change it for another. Tip: Before you arrive, contact the resort and ask to book your treatments as early in the day as possible. This way your treatment shouldn't clash with day trips or other activities. The food: 3 restaurants (including Tao which is world class in terms of quality and presentation). Snack bar near the pool (coffee, scones, muffins, cookies etc.). A afternoon tea cart travels around the pool area with some tasty pasties and treats. 7/10 for variety of food (breakfast and dinner). Wide variety of drinks including a nice sparkling cavalry and some nice rum (Chairman's Reserve is my favourite). Rooms: Air con. Spacious. Clean. No television (but you won't be in your room alot). Very well serviced. We had a shared deck area. Views depend on the location of the room- the higher up the better. Activities: Beach volleyball. Water - skiing. Snorkeling. Diving. Catamarans etc. A day trip around the island on a catamaran is highly recommended. Overall: The staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you, without being in your face all the time. Clientele is mostly couples but there are a few singles. Children aren't allowed for most of the year. All inclusive saves a lot of hassle and is worth it if you take advantage of the services and bring your appetite! Overall one of the best resorts in the Carribean. Worth it!
"Nice hotel with good service"
12/11/14 cracker4 bexhill-on-sea
We had a few issues when we arrived but these were well dealt with by the frontline staff to our satisfaction, as for the management they did not make themselves known to us or any of the other guests as they did not appear to associate with the paying clients. The service by all the staff was exceptional even to the point when I asked a member of the spas staff how one would go about obtaining a coconut even produced one the following day for me! The property is kept extremely clean and well maintained and the range of activities is vast and if one managed to do them all one would need another two weeks holiday to recover . There are many steps to climb even for the spa but I understand there is transport for those who may need it . The hotel is not cheap but represents good value for money with good food and a pleasant and relaxing ambience
"relaxing and rejuvinating"
12/10/14 Kim V New York, New York, United States
The resort's slogan "Give us your body for a week and we'll give you back your mind" couldn't be more spot on. This is perhaps the most relaxing and rejvinating vacation I have ever had. Plenty of sports and activities and a gorgeous beach. The staff, especially Germaine, on the beach, were so much fun! Note, the resort, especially the rooms, are not 5 star but fine since I was never in the room except to sleep plus the beds were very comfortable. Not cheap but an excellent value. My favorite part was the abundance of activities. Finally, although I did not travel solo, I would highly recommend it as the communal table was perfect!. I will be back!
"Amazing resort, pure relaxation."
12/07/14 ambernectar85 norwich
Solo traveller - May 2014. Stayed in a garden single room. Lovely room, big comfy bed, bathroom with bath and shower over bath. Room is quite dark as only a small door (for a window) which backs onto a grassy bank, no view. Although dont spend much time in room tbh, only to sleep! Lovely turndown service with tea and biscuits every night. Nice toiletries. Food - Buffet breakfast and lunch, good variety. Beach snack hut serving hummous, sandiwches and smoothies etc. Dinner - A la carte main restaurant, Windows tasting menu and Tao gourmet oriental food, all amazing quality. Book early. Beach - Private beach and more than adequate size for the resort, never overcrowded. Very helpful beach staff. Comfy loungers, beach drinks service with flag. Clean beach, lovely water, warm. Activities - More than you have time for! Yoga, pilates, cardio style if you want to, walking, diving, snorkelling, dancing, cooking, sailing etc etc! Spa - Large complex, slightly commercialised as so many people to fit in, Quite regimental, high turnover of people over 60 spa rooms every 50 minutes new people in for appointments. Treatments were very nice. I did however, find marked variation in staff quality. Some treatments very thorough, others quite slap dash. My ayurvedic head massage was lovely although only 10 of 50 minute treatment was actually head massage! Staff - Overall very helpful, many thanks to Jermaine who took me snorkelling and was very helpful and welcoming! I did find some of the staff to be slightly rude at times, with a bit off attitude (mostly females). This a shame, but I have noticed this at other carribean resorts. I hope this can be addressed. Overall a lovely resort which I definately would recommend and have done to many people. I shall be returning next year! :)
