"Nice, but overpriced"
We had a great time but this was mostly due to the beach and watersports. Food was pretty good, room was nice but much less than expected for $1000 per night (grand luxury waterfront), we had much nicer rooms and as good or better food in couples/sandals type resorts in DR and Jamaica.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Would Absolutely Stay Here Again"
We loved the bodyholiday! We never repeat places, especially in the Caribbean since it's sort of like one you've seen one place, you've kind of have seen them all - but this is now the exception! "Total Body Bliss!"
My husband and I recently spent one full week of what I now call "Body Bliss" at The Body Holiday Le Sport resort and spa. The food was fantastic (and I'm a foodie snob), the staff and service were phenomenal and the the wide range of inclusive activities and outstanding spa treatments kept us feeling like Royalty! A special call-out is required of […] a few terrific members of the resorts' team-- Sir Calvin (as we called him) who manages the clubhouse bar and dining area is the official customer-service captain!! Sir Calvin-- please put the 'Elijah Special' drink on the menu-- Elijah can tell you the ingredients, we loved it!! Ambrose does an amazing job keeping all of the flowers and landscaping breath-takingly beautiful! And Ms. Mini (native of Bali, Indonesia) has magical hands and provides an authentic Bali massage that one should not miss!! 'Ms. Dayanne' in concierge handles her business extremely well, and makes sure your stay is great! The Friday night sunset cruise made we cry joyful grateful tears upon departure -- "St. Lucia We Love, St. Lucia We Love, St. Lucia We Love".... and I MUST come back!! "A completely restful and rejuvenating expereince."
Overall, one of the finest resorts we have stayed at. The Caribbean can sometimes render resorts somewhat shabby in appearance, not true here. The property and the hotel were pristine. The food was excellent and the staff were very attentive to your needs. While sitting on the beach, you "raise your flag" and within minutes a staff person is there to […] attend to whatever your needs. There is a plethora of activities included, sailing, water skiing, tubing, to name a few. If booking through Expedia, it is definitely advisable to go directly to the resort website and book your inclusive daily spa treatments in advance. We did not do this, and the resort generated a random schedule before our arrival. The problem is that most of those appointments were early in the morning, which is the least popular time. Trying to reschedule to the afternoon was nearly impossible. As for the room, they were neat and comfortable. While they say there are 110V outlets in each room, ours had only one, and none in the bathroom. It was a minor inconvenience, but adapters would have been helpful. This was our best experience in the Caribbean to date. We did not really like Jamaica or Antigua, but we would go back to The BodyHoliday in St. Lucia in a minute. "Best. Hotel. Ever."
This hotel is awesome. The staff is second to none, the food is delicious and it's very clean. My girl got seasick on the sunset cruise that is on a large boat, I told the staff and they called up Eric who whisked us away to the mainland to go back to the hotel on a windsail type boat. How's that for awesome service? I'll definitely be back. Also, […] I noticed a lot of couples at this resort---guys if you want to score major points with your woman book it now!!! "heaven for active people"
I stumbled upon this hotel through websearches and decided to give it a try. It was an absolutely wonderful 5 days. On average I took 4 different exercise/yoga/pilates a day with options running all day long by top quality instructors. In addition, water sports including scuba were all included in the rates and then you topped off your day with a massage […] just before watching the sunset in the wonderful location the hotel is located in. The food and drinks were good, but for me it was the setting right on the ocean (must get a ocean front of ocean view room) and the variety of top quality activities to whip anyone into shape. We had a great time at BodyHoliday. It's a pricey hotel but has excellent facilities to compensate. Second stay at this Le Sport hotel and it has got even better. The spa and the sports activities are plentiful and the food superb. Staff are friendly although somewhat forgetful. The key to this resort is the combination of a secluded location in a beautiful sheltered bay and plenty to do.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Beautiful Island, lovely resort."
The hotel is beautifully situated on a well landscaped property. It is kept immaculately. We went there to celebrate an anniversary and could not have been treated better by the staff who with rare exception, went out of their way. There is lot's to do!! Almost too much in fact! If you are active you will love it, if not then you will be fine as well […] as there are pools, the beach, and the spa. The rooms are comfortable. The furniture and some of the linens are a little well worn and we had some problems with condensation coming up through the tiles making for a slippery floor. It is worth paying for the sea view. After a few hiccups on arrival, our room was not available until the next day but they made the move smooth and easy and we really had a delightful stay after that. What was exceptional? The Deli and it's staff. Food there is very tasty and healthy. Tao provided outstanding service and a great sense of humor. Also every buffet at the Clubhouse was delicious. Just a great place to sit as well. Tea time and scones I am missing now. The Bodyguards were great. The only downers I can think of were some of the guests who would commandeer loungers and cabanas for the day while off around the resort. This happened a lot and many of us walked the beach looking for chairs while many remained empty, with only a book or hat, sometimes for hours. Also I would hope the piano player seeks new employment because he really doesn't enjoy his job. A great week! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Holiday of a lifetime"
We had a sea view room with balcony and effective air conditioning that ran quietly enough for night time usage. We relaxed in the afternoon in hammocks and sunbeds on the lawn in a cooling shady location under swaying palm trees. All the sun bed areas are serviced by attentive and friendly beach staff, who bring out iced water buckets and drinks on […] request. With towel stacks everywhere there are no worries about bringing towels down from the room. For a foodie like it me it was heaven. I was able to get protein shakes during the day and there were plenty of vegetarian, dairy and gluten free options at all meals. For me though the resort's Wellness Centre is really what made it special. Set in a temple and located on a hilltop overlooking the complex, this is a lovely place to relax and unwind with a cooling breeze and the sound of bird song in the background. Daily massage and other treatments are included in the package and it is possible to pay extra for other more specialist treatments, such as Ayurvedic massage. Above all else though it was the St Lucian staff who made it the most wonderful experience. Caring, empathetic, friendly and genuine their level of customer service was something I had not encountered anywhere else. All this amounted to the holiday of a lifetime where we made friends, relaxed and felt cared for. Here's to the next time but for now we have many lasting memories. "Intimate High End Resort with Amazing Spa"
Our family of five recently stayed at The Body Holiday resort. It was our first visit to the property and we were very pleased with everything. The staff is friendly and polite, the property is clean and appealing, the Spa is very impressive, the waterfront is very pleasant, and the food is excellent. Many activities are included in the All Inclusive […] with only a few items that are extra cost if you wish to utilize. As minimum age is 16, it is NOT a property for young childrren, and hence that adds appeal for those of us with older children. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Le Sport - Body Holiday - Overrated"
We stayed here for a week in April - and found the staff attitude generally the worst thing about the place. Whilst there were a few exceptions to the rule, generally the impression we were left with was that the staff operate in 'silos' as separate little units: Good: Oasis - the spa staff were generally good / excellent Cariblue - generally good Bad: Watersports […] - a group of young lads, very cliquey and not interested Cleaning staff - rude Reception - useless, we arrived early as we were already on the island and despite emailing that morning to give them the heads-up they did not deal with us at all professionally. We were left sitting in reception for ages, then told someone would show us around and they didn't show up. From there, they were slow to deal with queries. Clubhouse - pathetic. Run by a chap called Mr J.... - who called himself a manager but just appeared to harass and bully his staff in my opinion. When we raised a query with him I felt he tried to bully us into submission rather than listen to the point being raised. Scuba - generally good, shame there is no Pontoon / Jetty so you have to wade out to the boat - to shoulder deep water. You have to wear your wetsuit and carry your BCD and regs and fins etc, meaning you can't get out of the wetsuit after the dive - which is not nice. No inside seating on the boat - which is very small. The property is very tired. There is a refurb going on this summer - long overdue in my opinion. However, from what we were told - the staff are not being paid for the 3 month period it is closed (unless they work on the building site) - so perhaps this explains their poor attitude as they are going to move on to other places?? Also, we did overhear two managers talking about the hotel being sold - so again, perhaps the current management have let things slip? Who knows and who cares, we would never stay here again. "Difficult to believe its owned by same family as awful Rendezvous"
03/13/14 Colin G London, England, United Kingdom
Had a great time there. It is really hard to believe that's is owned by the same people as the truly awful Rendezvous down the road (I wonder if those that give the Rendezvous 5 stars actually stayed there!) Yes it's more expensive but really worth it. Every thing an all inclusive Caribbean resort should. Let's hope they don't mind the Rendezvous manager to run this one.

We stayed for 10 nights in February and had a fabulous time. The food is amazing but the inclusive wines are not up to the standard of the food and we ended up buying bottles of wine most nights. For the amount you are paying it is not unreasonable to expect the inclusive wines to be, at least, drinkable. The treatments are excellent and the staff friendly. There is lots to do but you don't feel pressured into doing anything. I enjoyed the watersports and the staff in this area are outstanding. They really want you to have a good time and the driver of the ski boat tried very hard to help me stay upright. They took us out in a hobby cat which was great for my non-swimmer husband. I should comment on the bathroom, we stayed in a top level room and the bathroom was poor. They need to refurbish the bathrooms to bring them up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. The products are top quality and the water pressure was super. There was one thing which let the hotel down. I lost my phone on the last day and they were very defensive and not helpful in providing the paperwork I needed to deal with my insurance claim back here in the UK. I never suggested it had been stolen but they clearly felt that was the suggestion. The incident left a bad impression which was completely avoidable.

I travelled on my own, leaving my husband and daughter at home. It was an incredibly rejuvenating experience. I did activities all morning - so many to choose from that I left after 7days knowing I'll have to come back to try other ones. I relaxed by the pools/on the beach middays and took advantage of the spa late afternoons each day. I especially enjoyed my ayuverdic treatments. I truly came home relaxed and feeling extremely healthy. Having travelled often solo below - I knew I'd be fine on my own - I found it easy to be on my own and also easy to join into the communal table. I met some great people who I hung out with a lot toward the end (both couples and solo travellers). It was a really friendly, accepting environment. Great food, great room (I was unite happy in my garden room - mostly given I was only in it to sleep!), great facilities... Amazing staff and overall a wonderful experience. I'm really looking forward to returning. - Carolyn

Wonderful week of holiday. Friendly staff, good food. The resort really had all the equipment and in good repair for all the activities offered. My spouse loooved the Ayurvedic and other treatments available. I received very competent and supportive Open Water Diver instruction, completing the course in 4 days leaving room for a couple of fun dives before going home We've already booked a 2 week return.
"Marlon is the go to man"
03/09/14 SunriseLife US of A
I arrived on a Sunday but unfortunately my bags didn't arrive with me. Marlon, from guest services, coordinated the retrieval of my bags and kept me updated. My bags arrived Monday night and I ultimately missed my Tao seating. By the time I got ready for dinner, I also missed the Solo seating as well. I ran into Marlon and he asked if I would like sandwiches left in my room. Yes and yes. To add to my irregular requests, I switched categories of rooms during my stay. I asked Marlon what I needed to do for the check out/check in and he let me know just to pack my bags and a bellman will move them to my new room. I just had to drop off the old key and pick up the new one after my activities for the day. I had no worries whatsoever thanks to Marlon. Although I should probably apologize for the hundreds of questions I asked. This was a return visit and I more than likely will treat myself to another Body Holiday vacation solely because of the people who work there (well and the fitness classes, beach, and culture)... I totally loved Hiley's and Donna's spin class. I wished they offered it twice a day everyday. Keon, a bodyguard, gave some well needed info on aspartame and Lucian dialect. Nicolas in the clubhouse always made sure to remember my favorite drink (make sure you ask him for suggestions, it might become your favorite too)... And Neil, the number one draw for me to Body Holiday, is patient with my inconsistent forearm and dreadful serve. I still cannot speak highly of the spa services. I find them inconvenient and not worth the price of admission. I asked if there was a discount for not using the spa services and the answer was no. I would have preferred some personalized wellness package or private tennis lessons in lieu of spa services. I definitely feel like I wasted my money in that regard. Overall I think the resort has the ability to cater to everyone's needs. I just hope that the quality of people and service remains consistent because that is the true essence and beauty of Lesport.
"Romantic relaxation... A dream honeymoon!"
03/09/14 Harriet T London, United Kingdom
We can for a week in February! Although the other clientele were not necessarily the same sort of holiday makers as us, we had the MOST amazing time! Tubing, fencing, golf, snorkelling, abseiling, piton climbing the more active moments. Massage, facials, body scrubs and some yoga thrown in for good measure. Because it's a holiday copious eating (of delicious unlimited food), drinking, booze cruise and generally being merry! We loved Body Holiday!
03/05/14 432LiS London, United Kingdom
I stayed at The BodyHoliday for 9 days in February, for the second year in a row. It is an exceptional place, which is not down to one thing only - good food, good facilities, great activities, lovely beach, friendly staff - but a fantastic combination of all these. No, it doesn't have the most modern decor or TV in the room, but frankly, once there, you won't be spending much time in your room anyway. There's just too much to do. As a solo traveller, this resort is perfect. They make such an effort to ensure everyone is having a great time, to introduce new people and to take care of their guests. It is a complete haven, with a lovely spa included! For me, the activities are the biggest draw, and you can't fault the vast choice of things to do. I particularly enjoyed trying 'combat fitness' for the first time! There are classes for everyone, from the novice to the fitness fanatic. Try the 'beach fit' on a Tuesday or a Thursday - you may not be able to walk the day after but you'll love the smug glow of having done it! The staff at The BodyHoliday have been mentioned in many reviews. You need to meet them to understand why everyone raves about them! You can't just train staff to that kind of standard - you need to build a culture into the whole place for it to work. And at The BodyHoliday, it just works. To Stephen Husbands and the team - thank you guys, I can't wait for my next visit!
"overpriced,overated,inconsistent and overhyped"
03/05/14 maxim r Cas Catala, Spain
we booked because a UK agent Health and Fitness Uk oversold this overated and overpriced resort as a five star resort with great spa and fitness facilities, fantastic all inclusive ,excellent cuisine and restaurants, huge choices of foods and wines,,,this was not the case. and beautiful accommodations.which were definitely not the case. If every you want to feel cheated lied to and mislead, then book with Health and fitness UK and go to this bodyholiday lesport. the rooms were shabby and cheaply appointed, the bathrooms tiny and cramped,,absolutely 2 star at best. the restaurants were mediocre at best ..quantity in the buffets does NOT make quality. /the specialized restaurants were worse. And to add insult to injury, the quality of wine offered as part of the inclusive package was limited to one lousy white, one cheap red and one cheap cava. If you wanted anything better ,for anything,,you had to pay extra,it was insulting ,,as the price paid was already over the top. Some,,all inclusive package,,!! Cheap and insulting because the price charged was insane for what you were given. Service was hit or miss, and the after diner entertainment was a joke, it was boring and mediocre even when there was something.and empty most of the time. The insult of having to constantly be forced ( which i refused to pay more) for anything extra on the menu or wine list ( which were 3 cheap wines) or a decent meal was too much. Everything about this resort was on the cheap and trying to squeeze more money out of the clients without giving anything. The spa was horrendous with double bookings, they tried to force you to have treatments in the middle of the day because of double bookings and insufficient staff and co ordinating appointments. It was like being in a cattle car at a camp. I would say no one cared at all,,the management ignored any complaints. Wakeup calls were either not given or given at incorrect times..how hard is this to do correctly. Again, the outrageous price paid for cheap tiny cramped rooms,,mold and smelly, bad service, lack of quality food and wine,,was too much. I have never experienced such a poorly run resort..And Health and Fitness travel in Uk lied about all. Selling this as a five star resort when it barely made a 2 star. I hope people read this review and stay away, because the over hyped advertising they do ,is falsel they dont restore your body, they try to further pick your pockets maxim r
"Amazing Takes On New Meaning"

I desperately needed some sun and rest.....it had been minus 50 C forever. I kick box and take barre yoga, so I wanted an active holiday..not so much cultural, but chill with an active living option. Le Sport is the place! The grounds are impecable..the lush green, and the very blue ocean made me feel as if I was in a postcard. I went with a friend; not romantic....all welcome..singles, couples, friends....all ages, mostly from Toronto and the UK the week I was there. I heard there is a 75% return rate, and I believe it..my first day there, I made plans to return! The food was good (not exceptional..but really good), and I am a vegetarian and gluten free...plenty of both! The classes (activities), offered all day long, and the instructors were EXCELLENT! I will say the beginning class was not so beginning...I took a spinning class in the tree house....tough!!!!..but verrrry enjoyable. The Indian spa was so so amazing. The spa treatment where they pounded bags full of herbs on your back..amazing, and the herb scrub with the steam shower...not to be missed. The complimentary spa treatments..some were good, some better, but did not compare to the Indian spa treaments..in a class by itself:)! The entertainment at night was high caliber...soooo good! The staff worked really hard, and although they say no tipping..everyone tips (and I think the unwritten expectation is there) If you are looking for a holiday to take your breath away in all kinds of ways....Le Sport is the golden ticket:)

From beautiful beaches, outstanding activities, exquisite food, and fabulous customer service, TheBodyHoliday is worth the expense. Whether you want to learn to sail, snorkel or water ski, or just make sure the beach doesn't go anywhere, this is the All-inclusive for you. This is an Adult resort, not because of craziness, but there is no catering to children. There are no children's menus or activities.
