This hotel is great for family with kids. My kids had so much fun in the three story waterslide and their breakfast had so many varities. Planning go to banff every year and stay in the hotel to end our trip.

The room was fabulous and the entire hotel had a definitive sense of class. Definitely recommend, being a few kilometres out of town is no problem. View from room was spectacular. Food was amazing.

This hotel is in a good location a little south of the center of Banff. The staff was friendly and helpful; the hotel itself is a little tired. Sheets did not fit the bed.

For the price I can get, compared with other hotels, this is a not bad choice, except that the room is very small, breakfast area is also crowded. Something I do want to complain is the breakfast, the only starch choice is bagel, and no yogurt.

This hotel is older, but the room was clean and spacious. It is within easy walking distance of everything in downtown Banff. Breakfast was o.k., not a lot of choices. Everything is Banff is very expensive, and while I consider this hotel expensive, it is a good value in a very expensive town. Also, the young man who checked us in was very nice.

We spent 2 good nights in this hotel, which is located directly on the main road through Banff, just a few blocks from the town center. The room was a standard single queen. The continental breakfast was basic breads, cereals, and fruit. Wireless internet service was good. Had an excellent dinner at the Bison Restaurant near town center.

t think for the price I don't think you can beat the place. Yes its a bit dated etc and parking could be tight (especially if those people with big trucks who can't park!!). If you want a cheap hotel its for you, if not, then pay more and go elseware.

My husband and I stayed here for three nights. Saturday night was very noisy. I woke up at 1:30 a.m. to drunk people being very noisy and they didn't stop until 3:00 a.m. Sunday and Monday nights were quiet though. They do allow pets which I thought would be annoying but I never heard the dog down the hall. The parking lot is way too crowded in the […] back so we parked our truck on the street. You share a balcony with someone else so hearing them outside smoking was weird. Our room was on Banff Ave. and we heard the traffic noise and the bus stopped right in front of our room. I won't stay here again. I do recommend Bow view Lodge which is closer to the heart of town , has a nice view of the river and is quiet. The price is also reasonable to Red Carpet Inn. Read more

I found the hotel staff friendly and rooms etc.relatively clean. The room could be renovated but it did not bother me. For the price, the room was satisfactory. The matress was newer and so were the pillows.

It was close to all main shopping areas and we enjoying walking. The bathroom was so small it was difficult to turn around in it. The bedroom was also small but cozy. No microwave. The breakfast was okay. The hotel and rooms were clean. The price was reasonable.

Stayed here on 2 occassions on our trip. Nice warm feeling to the hotel. Room very clean & comfortable. Room amenities good. Even offer an electric kettle to tea drinkers rather than the common coffee maker. The hot tub is a very nice addition. Easy walk to downtown. Breakfast ok for me, but probably light on compared to other hotels.

My husband and I stayed at The Red Carpet Inn for a night because we had an event to attend. Our room was clean but outdated. And it was a little too crowded to have a king size bed in a tiny room. The bed was not comfortable. We both went home with back pain. We think that the mattress needs to be changed. It sinks in when you lay down, obviously from […] over use. It was hard to sleep from all the noise that you can hear. We could hear people talking when they pass by our room, we could hear the vehicles parking behind the hotel, and the worst part was the people above us who we believe has kids who kept running and jumping for hours. The breaksfast was just alright too. It consisted of cereal, bagel, toast, english muffins with jams and cream cheese. They had juice and coffee for drinks. Overall it was just an alright stay.
