5' from the Duomo, this hotel is located in a normal dwelling building and may not offer all the amenities of a more "traditional hotel". Staff very was very helpful, the room was nice and spacious but lacked the little details and services that are useful e.g. room services, laundry, a "do not disturb" sign, shoehorn, etc

We booked one night at this hotel after returning from the Cinque Terre. We needed to be close to transportation to the airport for a morning flight back to the states. The hotel is within walking distance (about .5 mile) to the train to the airport. We arrived and were greeted by a charming, gracious individual, who showed us the five rooms booked […] by our group so that we could sort out who was staying where. All of the rooms were elegantly but simply decorated. There terrace rooms had beautiful outside spaces with comfortable seating. The photos of this hotel are misleading. It is in an unmarked residential building. There is no hotel lobby, they own the second and third floors, and have rooms for guests, as well as their hotel desk on these floors. It's in a terrific location and the staff is helpful, but the Hotel Antica Locanda dei Mercanti is not very good value. The rooms are small and it is a little noisy at night. Perhaps it was the pesky mosquito but we just didn't have a great time. Breakfasts are pretty good.

This is a locanda, with separate rooms on several floors of a large 19thC commercial building. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable enough. The terrace rooms would be a joy in summer. A delicious continental breakfast is served in room. Good wifi. Good hot water. The location is excellent.

The apartment was very spacious and clean. It was great as we were a family with 2 small children. The only downside was trying to find property as this was not well sign posted and the lift was not working most of the time which was a hassle as we had a pram. Also there were workman everywhere and we were not advised that this would be happening. We had high expectations, but was very disappointed. In booking all seemed perfect for our stay in Milan. The write up is fantastic, (what a lie). Nothing about this hotel is four star, it should be classed two star, with two star pricing.

This is the best hotel experience for my trip. The room was so clean, bright, modern and had bit taste of art. The staffs were so so welcoming, friendly, helpful and nice. They spoke english very well. They also had free internet (compare to other places up to 9eu/hr). We were so satisfied with it! Highly recommended!

Vi ønsket et trygt, rent og hyggelig sted midt i sentrum av Milano. Vi var ikke interessert i å betale for unødvendig luksus. Dette hotellet var perfekt for oss: serviceminded betjening som var interessert i å hjelpe oss med det vi ville finne ut av. Rommet var ren. Fint bad, sofagruppe og ok senger. Det var til og med et lite kjøkken for den som ville […] lage mat selv. Frokost fikk vi levert på rommet til avtalt tid. Beliggenheten er helt fantastisk, med gangavstand til det meste. スカラ座やドウモ、最後の晩餐の教会へのアクセスが便利でした。 部屋の内装が白で統一され、楽しい絵画が飾られていて、リラックスできました。朝ごはんは、パンとフレッシュオレンジジュース、コーヒーの他に、お願いするとスクランブルエッグとフルーツサラダを追加できました。 スタッフの対応も皆さん親切で、とても良かったです。またミラノに旅行することがあれば、泊まりたいと思います。

Hotellet svarte til forventningene, og beliggenheten var super. Litt vanskelig å finne inngangen, da resepsjonen ligger i andre etasje og man må ringe på for å komme inn. Bortsett fra det så er de ansatte veldig hjelpsomme og det er bare å nyte oppholdet :) Rommet vi hadde var det ingenting å utsette på!

Kun 10 minutters gang fra Castello, Scala og Duomo ligger dette skønne hotel. Vores værelse lå på 3. sal med en lille terasse med bord og 4 stole. Hotel quasi parfait, personnel attentif, cadre magnifique, la seule petite difficulté est à relier au parking : il n'y en a pas et donc il faut utiliser un de ceux dans le secteur...
