"Good all around"
Although the room was smaller than expected, the service was decent. The hot tub was nice to have, continental breakfast was quick and convenient. Location was great. Would go back if making a pit stop in Bellingham (came from a Mt Baker ski trip that day). Overall a decent stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good Value for Overnight Stay"
Worked well for overnight prior to flying - excellent value when factor in breakfast, internet and airport shuttle. Easy to find location and convenient for downtown.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"will stay here again"
great that this hotel offers a shuttle service at no charge to and from the Bellingham Airport. I arrived to late at night to pick-up my rental car. The hotel made it so easy for me to takt a shuttle to the hotel - get a good nights sleep!! and then take me back to the airport in the morning and pick-up my rental car, after a good breakfast at the hotel. "Great Stay if Visiting Student (s)"
This marked our second time in Bellingham to visit our sister (who is attending WWU) This hotel was perfect. Its proximity to the campus/downtown area is ideal. Beyond that The Guesthouse was a great stay. Good, clean rooms, nice spa(with a mechanical lift for those wheelchair-bound,) decent breakfast, and quiet. Lots of parking too. We will definitely […] stay with Guesthouse again! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
There are a couple of nice things about this place... It is located right off the highway so it has easy access throughout Bellingham. It is located right next to a Fred Meyer so gas was easy to access and very affordable. On the flip side...stayed in a double queen. One of the mattresses was way past it being suitable. Second, the blankets were in […] need of an upgrade. Third, the continental breakfast was lacking... Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
6am sunday morning my fiance' and i were awaken by very loud neighbors above it sounded like a heard of elephants. also during that time frame our room was reserved right next to the continental breakfast, cause when guest to thehe arrived for he continental breakfast, they are rude and disrespecto theful to the people sleep next door.Genuine Expedia guest review
nice room - we upgraded to a suite, which was very nice! the bed was a little hard though.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Super comfy stay!"
Our room was clean, the bed was comfy, bathroom was a little cramped but clean and with good water pressure. I was a little concerned about being so close to the highway, but the room was surprisingly quiet. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic. A wide range of food and beverage options and the staff was constantly restocking and cleaning throughout […] the serving hours. I would definitely stay here again! "Location is the only reason to stay here"
Close to I-5, WWU and the historic district, so very convenient. They're trying to make this a non-smoking establishment, but we could smell old cigarette smoke in our room and the tub had brown spots on the rim that looked like cigarette burns. The mattresses were were squishy and saggy in the middle, but the worst part was the thinness of the walls. […] The room next to us had women who sounded like old friends who hadn't seen each other in years. They stayed up talking until 2 am. I didn't have the heart to complain, but there were times when I could actually make out their words, it was so loud. I was just glad they weren't a couple banging the headboard. "Good hotel, right off I-5."
Good, mid-priced, clean hotel, immediately accessible to I-5 and on one of the main streets into Bellingham. The mattress was nice and firm. I slept like a baby. Great, local coffee shop next door.Genuine Expedia guest review
Good location Breakfast and WIFI.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The people at Hotels.com gave this a much higher rating than I feel it deserved. The beds were way to soft. Also needs updating. I stayed in the Marriott the night before and for 11.00 more dollars it was much nicer all around.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good choice in a basic hotel"
Nothing fancy but clean, comfortable and convenient to both I-5 and downtown Bellingham. Guest laundry is a nice feature. Good Wi Fi signal with no password needed, and not limited to one or two devices like some hotels. Good choice if you're just looking for a place to stay for a night.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hotel was very close to WWU. Room was fine."
Our stay was pleasant. Staff were helpful and very friendly. Room was accomodating and clean. It will be our go-to motel for visits to our daughter attending college.Genuine Expedia guest review
The room was almost perfect. I wish you had toilets that were higher. The low ones are difficult to use if a person has back problems.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Room was small. Had everything I needed - hate that high priced hotels often make you pay for a fridge, microwave, internet access, and don't usually serve breakfast. I'd stay here again if I was there for a one or two night stay. (My complaints - Bed was only moderately comfortable, bedspread was old and faded, and towels were thin, small, and rou […] gh.) "Nice stopover in Bellingham"
The facilities were nice and centrally located close to Western. We went to take our daughter to school and stayed overnight. Very nice and courteous staff. Wish they had a pool, but everything was clean and up to expectations.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Perfect for my needs"
I've stayed here twice now; it's 4 blocks from my brother's house. It's also about a mile from downtown Bellingham. Some have commented that the freeway noise is excessive, but I've stayed both times on the ground floor and didn't find it so. In fact, the last night I left the window open and slept well. Beds are comfortable; bathroom & shower were […] spotless, with good water pressure and temperature control. The complementary breakfast is unspectacular but entirely adequate, with heat-&-eat egg patties, waffles, and a good selection of dry cereal and rolls. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Whale Watching Weekend"
My friend and I were up in Bellingham for a weekend of whale watching. We checked in at 7:00 pm Friday, the hotel front desk person was very friendly. Once in the room, we could not get the TV (not a flat screen!) to turn on and we had to call the front desk for assistance. After getting the TV to work we pulled the sheets back on one bed and there […] was HAIR in the sheets! My friend pulled the sheets back on her bed and there was a stain the size of a dinner plate on the sheets, very disturbing! We immediately went to the lobby and said we were checking out, the hotel desk assistance was helpful but did not offer an apology. While leaving there was a homeless female getting free coffee in the lobby and when we went outside to go to the car there was a male homeless person who definately appeared to be drunk or on drugs right outside the door - he was pulling up his pants! This was within 10 feet of the lobby door. I would not recommend this hotel. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Dated, Uncomfortable Beds, Free Parking, Cheap"
You get what you pay for. If you need a place to crash for the night, near downtown and WWU this is an option. However, I wish we would have upgraded for a better night’s sleep. The beds were pretty terrible & uncomfortable. The linens like scratch paper. Pillows were okay. The room is really dated, I want to say it had green flat, industrial like carpet. […] No luxury here, but again - you get what you pay for. Mini fridge in the room was convenient. Ample free parking in the lot. Claustrophobically small bathroom. Sink in the room (which is nice if someone wants to use the mirror, but not so nice for the noise of hand washing while you're sleeping). Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

top notch in its classGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We booked the morning of to stay that night through Hotels.com. Hotel was easy to find and not far from where we wanted to be the next day. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Would stay again even though it was the most expensive hotel of our trip it was still a decent price for middle of the summer season.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

The water went from cold to scalding ant time another shower or toilet was turned on, The AC did not put out cold air, the mattress was stiff as a board, but the people were great.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I booked the room on the basis that it was a two-and-half star hotel with King-size or 2 double beds. The hotel deserved no more than a 2-star with no King-size beds and demanded $20 extra/night for the 2-bed rooms.Genuine Expedia guest review
"I'll be back!"
nice place. clean, good bed. Good location. We had a great stay. Breakfast was good..Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This is an older hotel with tiny rooms. We had three people staying in a two bed room and we barely had room to turn around. The bathrooms are riduculously small and even their toilets are not standard size. If you are looking for cheap, this is the place to go. If you are looking for a comfortable room-go somewhere else.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Very good stay"
The only complaint I have is that the room was a tad small (2 adults & 1 dog). Everything else was excellent! I'll stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to downtown and freeway."
Good for an overnight between destinations, clean, accepts pets, good location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Stayed twice at this hotel, each end of a trip . We chose it for the stay-and-park package (we took the train to Vancouver BC). The location was reasonably convenient, with a shuttle bus (by appointment) to the railroad station...however, the hours were limited to 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, so we had to take a taxi on the return to the hotel. The hotel is […] a bit tired and dated; the room was small and a bit cramped. The A/C was a bit noisy, and -- depending on which side of the hotel your room is on -- you can hear the traffic from I-5 all night. Breakfast was about what you would expect from a hotel in this price range -- edible but not really enjoyable. The free wi-fi worked very well, which was a big plus. Restaurants in the immediate area are limited, and you have to drive downtown for a better selection. Overall, it filled our needs, but I wouldn't rush to stay at this hotel again. "Decent hotel, close to downtown Bellingham."
Very pleasant staff, convenient location, drive into downtown Bellingham is about 3 minutes. Good value if you are visiting your WWU student and don't require anything beyond basic comfort and needs. Easy access to numerous Bellingham spots. Beautiful Whatcom Falls park just 2 miles east. Fred Meyer and The Market (excellent, upscale grocery) are very […] close by for necessities and picnic items. Gourmet coffee and breakfast goodies are just next door if you prefer espresso. "Clean, quiet and friendly"
I travel quite a bit and many times am stuck staying in a hotel that is loud, dirty and with unfriendly staff. Although this facility is not new or updated, it is extremely clean, dark and quiet rooms with extremely friendly staff! And, the breakfast in the morning is really quite good with a good variety. Cereal, breads and juice, but then add on to […] that make your own waffles, english muffins, hard boiled eggs, danish, jelly, toast, and a make your own egg sandwich with egg and cheese which was really quite good. Also, healthier choices such as yogurt as well. I would recommend staying here to anyone. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Easy to find hotel!"
Just had to find a place for one night at fairly short notice, the Guesthouse Inn was relatively inexpensive, and read several decent reviews, the only interaction I had with the staff was checking inn, nice room, nice location, very quiet! I would stay again!Genuine Expedia guest review
I usually like a spacious room. The room we got was too small, crowded.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Great place to stay for no frills"
Very good 'off the highway in vacation land' place to stay. Clean and updated. Met all my expectations and convenient drive to town and Rt 5. Several stores and restaurants within walking distance. Included decent basic breakfast. I would stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Exteemely small room"
This was probably the smallest hotel room we've ever stayed in. Had trouble even finding enough floor space to set 2 sm pieces of luggage. Will not stay here again. Overheard other guests near the elevator make the same comments.Genuine Expedia guest review
Good location and convenient to downtown Bellingham. The hotel was clean, there was ample parking, front desk staff were friendly, breakfast choices ok.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean and comfortable stay!"
We stay here every time we visit Bellingham. Rooms are super clean. Staff go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. I have yet to visit a medium-priced food that actually serves good healthy food for their breakfast buffet, but we just skip that feature. The last time we were there, the desk called our room 20 minutes after we checked in to see […] how everything was--a really nice and appreciated touch! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Nice place for the mkney"
We stayed three nights on personal travel. It was a very nice place to stay. Clean & the breakfast was decent. My only complaint was the traffic noise from I-5. But we turned in the AC fan when we were sleeping & that did the trick. We would stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
