Built into a hillside overlooking a small fishing harbour, Agia Galini is a busy family resort, its pretty whitewashed houses packed with cafes and souvenir shops. The grey sand beach, lined with sunloungers and backed by tavernas, lies a 500-metre walk from town. It is also a good base for visiting the nearby archaeological sites of Phaestos and Gortys.

Hotel simple mais correct, chambre assez grande pour couple, mais salle de bain réduite. Balconnet privatif. Petit déjeuner compris mais succint. Pas de clim dans notre chambre, en plein mois d'août ce n'aurait pas été un luxe. Bien situé entre port et plages dans un quartier calme.
