Everything was great. The hotel was perfect, the location was easy to find right off the interstate, kind of a crowded strip of road though. Excellent service.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel, not so nice location."
Weekend stay, needed soft drinks so we walked around the wall to a local supermarket. Slightly uncomfortable experience to know that thugs present and drug deals happening in that parking lot only 100 yards from room. Good thing there is an large wall separating us from them. Easy entrance to the hotel parking lot from the East but forget it from the […] West. Traffic was heavy, making a left turn across it virtually impossible. Best to go around the block to a traffic light to get turned toward the West. Don't even think about exiting the hotel toward the East. All of the is because of the close proximity to the end of I-526 being 2 blocks away. Other than the feeling of insecurity and the traffic the hotel staff was nice and the room was excellent. We did the breakfast buffet at Trotter's on Saturday. Food was good, a little pricey - $10.95/person, the wait staff were excellent, and the restaurant was classy. We got there just after they opened so there was no crowd. One plus was the constant cleaning we observed while there. Every time we left the room we saw someone cleaning something. This shows they are concerned with the cleanliness of the place. Bottom line - we would stay there again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Perfect for two day trip to Charleston"
Staff couldn't have been any friendlier and ready to advise on local places to eat. We love the show Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives and we were told The Early Bird Diner was on the show and it was just right down the street!! What an unexpected treat. Wonderful room and excellent price. We will never stay anywhere else!!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice and comfortable hotel"
Clean, nice room. Friendly staff. Is a little out of the way if you are visiting Charleston as a tourist.Genuine Expedia guest review
"I wanted to take this matress home with me."
We stayed in Charleston for the night, my wife and I to visited my dad and did a little shopping at the outlet as well as our trip to the battery. The room was very nice and we love the seperate bath and shower since we had our four month old baby with us. It's a good room for a couple and a small infant. The bed was incredible ....seriously. We were […] so impressed by the down & feather matress. We purchased one when we got home. Also I accidentally booked the wrong day and had to call Expedia to change my reservation and they fixed it immediately no charge. I never left the lobby and they fax over the change to the hotel (10 minutes from discovering error to room key). I was impressed with the expediency and no charge. They have obviously decided to listen to get better from Customer feedback. I typicall stay at Hilton or Hyatt but this was a good change. I enjoyed the West Ashley area and it was convenient. "Very nice stay on extremely comfortable beds"
I am an early riser and those beds had us sleeping in closer to the afternoon. While I pricey hotel for what it has, the staff are very friendly. The location is generally convenient to most area attractions. I would stay there again. I wish there was a jacuzzi for the facility, however.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel is immaculate and comfortable. The staff was friendly and efficient. I have a fear of palmetto bugs (aka cockroaches), but I couldn't afford a top-of-the-line hotel, which might still get bugs because of the location. I felt like I got a good value for a nice facility with no bugs or dirt of any sort. It is a short, direct drive from Charleston's […] historic area. The up side of the short drive is that parking is free. I would suggest they get more towel bars for the bathroom, but that is minor. My room was quiet with plenty of lighting. The internet worked. No complaints. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great affordable luxury accomodations"
My partner and I booked this hotel to get away for a birthday weekend and explore Charleston. Our number one priority was to relax, and Town and Country was PERFECT. I can't believe the hotel was so reasonably priced with all the amenities they offer. We made use of the air baths daily and just luxiariated in their beautiful beds. On top of all that, […] the staff is truly genuine in looking out for your needs. We actually switched rooms the first night to a quieter corner of the hotel, and they promptly sent a mechanic to service the bathtub in the second room that wasn't working properly. Neither of these issues were necessarily the hotel's fault, but they did everything to make sure these little things were fixed for us to enjoy our stay. I couldn't reccommend the level of customer service here any more. We will be returning and telling everyone we know to check them out. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Only one problem..."
In spite of the fact that the hotel was near empty, we were told we would have to pay $25.00 when we asked if we could check out by 1:00pm instead of noon. I have NEVER experienced a response like that before.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
4 great nights. Convenient, close, comfortable & a great price. Thanks!!!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel, great value"
The reviews were right, this hotel is great value for money. Close enough to Charleston downtown without the downtown prices. Right beside is a grocery store, close to gas stations and the highway. Room is very clean and updated. You can't go wrong choosing this hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Very clean updated hotel for a great price!"
Hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. We will definitely stay here when we return to the Charleston area.Genuine Expedia guest review
Our visit was for two nights..the room was spacious, comfortable, clean and cool. The vending machines were lacking not much variety to pick from otherwise nice place to stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very good value for a great price."
Stayed in Charleston for 3 nights and 4 days. We reserved a room with a king and a room with a double. They were furnished extremely well and were very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. Very pleased with this property.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Modern hotel easy drive to town."
The hotel seemed new, it was very clean and was close to Charleston, with an easy access to the main road. It was rather far from Folly Beach. The breakfast was good, and offered a buffet as well. I loved the room layout and the size of bathroom. The separate shower was a plus.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Approximately 7 miles away from downtown"
Hotel location easy to find and in nice location. Check in was fast and easy and included a brief explanation of services available. Room was clean, comfortable, and bathroom was in better condition than I thought it would be so I was pleased. The particular room's small refrigerator did not keep items cold and upon check out I notified front desk personnel. […] Upon mentioning this, the person immediately pulled out a card that appeared to be a maintenance card/notification of some sort and began writing the details of my statement and stated a maintenance person would be sent to address the problem or replace the item. Of course, I don't know what the results were but I was impressed that a system appeared to be in place! Would definitely use facility again Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"excellent budget family friendly place"
On our way to Orlando from NY, we decided to stop at Charleston, SC for two days. We choose this hotel due to previous reviews and price. The Town and Country Inn was clean and neat. There was a refrigerator, safe, and microwave available in ou room. The room and bathroom was very clean. The hallway carpet and elevator were clean as well. What we enjoyed […] the most about the place was its location not only to downtown Charleston (10 minute drive) but its proximity to a supermarket (Piggly Wiggly), AAA Supercenter, bowling alley across the street, and the Early Bird Dinner which had the best grits we had so far (chicken and waffles were great as well). We spent some time using the outdoor pool (3ft-8ft deep) and enjoyed the warm water. The pool was clean as well as the lounge chairs and towels which were frequently replenished but the attendant. The place is right on Savannah Highway which will take you to downtown Savannah to see the historic district and great restaurants. We liked the Hominy Grill the best. The shrimp etouffee and the shrimp bog were delicious great. Food portions are just right so you can savor every bite. The cheese fried grits were just OK. The best part of the meal might of been the lemon icebox pie. Service was great and the atmosphere was simple and rustic. Dinner reservations are required. Go to Isle of Palms Beach, Waterfront Park, & Patriots Point/ Charleston Harbor Marina. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Bests Beds for a great night sleep."
We had a Jr. Suite and it was wonderful. The best part was the most comfortable bed. The pillows, the linens, the mattress was of the best quality. The bathroom was clean, and pleasing with a walk in shower with glass doors and a wonderful air-tub that was comfortable and just the right size.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Comfortable hotel near restaurants/entertainment"
My husband and I stayed here for a weekend and found it a great place to relax. Everything was newly remodeled, including the lobby and the room. The room was great, with a comfortable king-size bed, flat-screen TV, refrigerator and microwave. We especially enjoyed a large shower in the bathroom. Everyone was nice and daily room service was excellent. […] We found several great places to eat nearby, including two diners featured on the Food Network. "Comfortable, Cute, and almost Convenient"
We loved our room at the Town & Country with the bathtube pocket door into the suite. The room was comfortable and clean, a great place to relax. Although a few miles outside of downtown Charleston, the reduction in price made the short commute and parking fees in town well worth staying just a little down the road.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nicer than expected."
This was a great hotel to stay in. Very nice inside and out. Wasn't expecting it to be so modern. The only issue was the AC unit made a lot of noise our second night. Since we were checking out the next morning, just dealt with it. Other than that a good place.Genuine Expedia guest review
Upon entering our room there was a distinct smell. After a while, we found the source. Someone had tucked some lunchmeat in one of the desk drawers. Hard to fault the cleaning staff for that! Anyway, the front desk staff was great! We were offered a new room but had already settled into our own. They not only got housecleaning and maintenance to get […] our room right, but they gave us a voucher for their restaurant. Very satisfied!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Very impressed with everything, from quality of the room the staff. very courteous. Would stay here again definitely.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel was just right for our stay in Charleston. The bed side tables were ample, a nice plus since my husband uses a CPAP machine. "Nice hotel in northern Charleston"
Our stay at this hotel was very positive. It is located in an area with many stores and restaurants, and it is close enough to downtown Charleston to make visits into the area simple.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Wasn't what we expected."
They really didn't provide much entertainment and some of the amenities were broken or not available. Also they say they offer things online that are in the room and really they don't even know why it is listed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Ownership committed to every guest's satisfaction."
This was my first time staying at Town and Country Inn and Suites. I was very impressed with the facilities and the staff. I will definitely return. I stayed in a 2-Queen room for 3 nights. I was very pleased to see that the facilities did live up to the glowing reviews I had seen on TripAdvisor.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Excellent room for the value"
My spouse and I went to Charleston for our 1st Anniversary, the room was very classy and budget friendly. We enjoyed the king size bed and bathtub, to the point were we are looking to invest in one for our home. The hotel was conveniently located next to many stores, restaurants, and even a local mall was only a few minutes away. Knowing what I know […] now about Charleston I would recommend getting a hotel in the downtown area, if that's where you will spend a majority of your time. But we really enjoyed our trip and the hotel even made it better!! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Top Notch Hotel"
The staff was extremely friendly and always helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. They have down comforters which were awesome, very comfortable beds with light and fluffy pillows. "Overall, a nice place to stay"
The Town and Country Inn was, overall, a very nice place to stay. The rooms were nicely appointed and the furniture comfortable. The staff at the front desk was nice to deal with and professional. While we didn't have dinner in the Trotter restaurant, we did have the breakfast buffet twice and the food was very good.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Nice, but a little far away..."
The hotel was very comfortable; there was parking near all entrances. It had a courtyard pool, which we did not use. But the room was very nice. However, it was rather far away from downtown Charleston.Genuine Expedia guest review
