The room was clean, but the room appointments, amenities and breakfast were minimal. No air conditioning, though maybe not a problem in this coastal town, and I certainly didn't need it in early April. Overall a fair deal for a relatively low rate.

Although the hotel was convenient to get too the parking was confusing. My only regret of chosing this hotel was the bed was like sleeping on the floor! It was HARD pillows were adequate but could have used an extra pillow or two in the room or a choice of medium firmness pillow the ones provided were 'soft' too soft.

Affordable. Not so luxurious but it's clean and the housekeeping staff are nice. Enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. Will come back again.

The fan in the bathroom did not work properly. The room had an odor to it. While it was a non smoking room people routinely smoked immediately outside the door and window. There is NO A/C at this hotel, just leave your windows open they say, screens missing & removeable from the outside. Homeless, vagrants hanging out all around the hotel. Little coffee shop across street had to give out free coffee to the vagrants to get them to leave customers alone. Ceiling fans didnt work. The room had a peculiar smell. There was a huge water stain in the celing from a leaky roof. There was no screen on the window. There was a moth in the room. The toilet would not flush properly. The breakfast is comprised of OJ, Coffee, Sweet Rolls, Donuts and cereal. There are a lot of undesireable people wandering through the area.

For few bucks a night, I can't ask for more. Considering, the amenity provided, free wi-fi, sauna, Jacuzzi, parking and the location, I’m very satisfied. Off course, be realistic it is a motel, beds are comfortable, clean sheets, towels, shampoo, soap even free local coffee, after day long hike that’s all I needs. There is no air conditioning in the room. To cool the room, we had to open the windows, however, this motel is located on a busy street with a lot of noise. There wasn't enough variety with the continental breakfast and the food wasn't that great.

This is pretty much a barebones motel, but it was fine for a one night stay. It is older, but it appears some updating has been done to the bathroom. There was no A/C, but this may be somewhat common because of the moderate climate. There was a ceiling fan, however, and the room was comfortable.

This motel was not very clean. There was mold in the corners of the bathroom and in the tub surround. The exterior may have just needed a good cleaning after winter but did not give a good first impression. There was a lot of traffic on the stairs all night long which prohibited a good sound sleep.

Stayed two nights, three days. The hair drier didn't work and didn't get replaced. A bathroom light switch didn't work, don't know why. Otherwise, very nice stay, pleasant people in office.

Located in the run down area of Eureka next to a maximum holding facility.Scary area.Homeless were wandering around day and night. Parked my car near my rooms window just to keep my eye on it! The spa was dirty. Couldn't wait to leave.

This was a comfortable hotel that served its purpose. We were staying the night there until we could check in our state park campsite at the Redwoods National Park. The front desk was very courteous, which is rare lately. The rest of my family arrived later that night and they were very accomodating even though they didn't have a reservation.

This hotel was fine, nothing special, it is located right on 101 and was easy to find. The beds were like sleeping on concrete. It is within walking distance from a nice pub. The neighborhood was a little sketchy at night.

Upon arrival, homeless people were in parking lot going through dumpster. Homeless were there wandering around both day and night. Continental breakfast was very limited, no healthy choices. would not stay there again, and doubt if I will book through Hotel.com again

I had read a few reviews that made me question this place a little. But...it was just fine for the price. The kids had fun in the indoor pool and hot tub. The room was clean and the staff friendly. To top it off there's a Dutch Bros right across the street!

I feel for the owner of this hotel. He is trying his best to make his hotel pleasant. The rooms are clean and well-decorated. However, the location is terrible in terms of the type of people around. I stayed there with three kids on a college visitation...and was appalled at what these kids were exposed to. We watched a prostitute get picked up from […] our window, and then were subjected to two men lurking around outside a room from which there were awkward noises projected into the breezeway. Luckily we were only sleeping here one night during our Northern Cal road trip. I wouldn't have stayed any longer!! The room is what you would expect for the price; horribly uncomfortable beds, extremely outdated, paper thin walls. The worst was the surrounding area. Across the street is a laundromat that I think quite a few people 'live' at. On either […] side of the motel is hwy 101 so it's easy to find but noisy all night and day. We got in kind of late and needed to find something to eat. There were lots of options within a short distance, from fast food to sit-downs, but we had a very sketchy man following us around so we went into the first restaurant we saw. Not a good place for women or families. Stay a few blocks south, past the jail, in the historic area. Eureka is not a place I ever plan to go back, to but if you're passing through, make sure to go to the Somoa Cookhouse. It was a great way to start our day, eating like a lumberjack.
