This is a good choice if North Vancouver is your destination. Lots of shopping and eating in the market below the hotel, which is also where the parking is located. The more upscale and higher priced rooms get you further out towards the water, which can be worth it in terms of quiet and view.

Location.
Conveniently near the airport in Richmond, Days Inn Vancouver Airport is close to Aberdeen Centre, Richmond Olympic Oval, and Richmond Centre Mall. Additional area attractions include BC Place Stadium and VanDusen Botanical Garden.

"Quick Overnight Stay"
Room was not available at check-in due to unexpected number of rooms that needed to be cleaned (arrived at 3:15pm). Received poor customer service at check in (possibly due to being overwhelmed about room availability?). The next morning, we late were a few minutes late for their continental breakfast, and was told we were too late (even through the […] entire food spread was still laid out on the counter). I stayed one night in this hotel and have to move to different hotel next day. The air condition needs to update. I turn on on low heat, it's too hot I couldn't sleep. "Days Inn Richmond-Close to YVR"
We booked this hotel to connect with an early morning flight out of YVR. A number of hotels in the area had quite a few very bad reviews, so we checked the reviews on Days Inn before booking. We were not disappointed. The hotel was clean and bright (not "shabby" in the least ;-). Location was close to River Rock Casino, by going through a slippery parking lot. Due to light industry zone where it is located, cannot recommend this location to women. Hotel is adequate and close to airport. The bed was comfortable. The free shuttle made many stops at other hotels which caused a little concern with the time to get to the airport.

"Good spot for the night or two"
Found this Days Inn very comfortable (beds and room), clean, and in a pretty good location for a quick night stay (especially for an early morning flight). Costco was 4 blocks away and Richmond’s China town within 2 km for lots of treats. Kids really like the place, especially the free breakfast – which was very good (Waffles, cereals, bagels, juice […] / milk, fruits – no meats). Front desk was easy to work with and helpful; answered several questions and know the local area well. Even suggested the “Night Market” (sort of a weekend Asian flee market) where we found some mangosteen, rambutan, lychees, and logans and a visit to the Buddhist temple. This is not a resort hotel; i.e. no restaurant and such, but they do what needs to be done well. Spent 2 nights here in total and I would return. For other simple foods, a Subway, BK, and Husky gas station are also within walking distance. Pros: Location, Wi-Fi (free and WPA), mini refrigerator, helpful front desk, breakfast, parking (free), price Cons: Not a resort type hotel, view out the windows – auto repair shops or another hotel. I only stayed here a night, but it was nice. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The hotel seems new. It is close to the airport (one of the reasons I chose it since I arrived very late). Our stay at this hotel exceeded our expectations! Although it was a 15-20 minute drive from Vancouver, I am glad we chose this hotel for our trip. Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold items; waffles, cereal, fruit, pastries, yogurt, bagels. Our room was comfortable and clean. The only thing I disliked were the pillows, they were super big. […] Slept without a pillow during my stay. Also, our room had a computer with free access to internet. I enjoyed this extra featured since our cellphones had no service. This helped us find good restaurants in the area. Staff extremely friendly and helpful! Wonderful personnel.......VERY helpful and accomodating, plus a GREAT breakfast the next morning with a real person making the Belgian waffles for you! Only 7 minutes from the airport, but we didn't hear the planes at all!!!

The room's a little small but pretty clean and the staffs are very friendly. Way better than what I was expecting for the price. Looks newly renovated. The only thing I didn't like was that some the towels had stains.

The rooms were very comfortable, and the continental breakfast was also impressive. We were travelling with our infant, and the pack n play crib they provided was old and stained - it was unsettling placing my child in it to sleep. On the flip side of things, the rest of the room was very tidy, the beds were comfortable - completely the opposite.
