Only sayed for one night but the front desk staff was excepional. Nice, friendly, able to assit when asked questions about different attraction and places to visit in the area. Arrived early and was able to check in with no issues. Room was clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend to people.

This hotel was very nice. The breakfast could have had more choices, however, it was ok. The room was very nice, and downtown galena was only 1.5 miles away. Had a grocery store and small shopping area right next door. Would recommend to anyone going to Galena for business or pleasure.

We arrived early, and since we are all seniors we were accommodated with a first floor room. I always check the bathroom first, and it was sparkling clean and modern. That evening we went to the pool to do water aerobics. The water was just the right temperature, and there actually was an aerobic instructor there giving a class. We were invited to join […] them, after which we went to the very nice whirlpool. Breakfast was amazing. We had a variety to choose from, and the scrambled eggs and sausage I had were very good. Although the decor was a little country, the room was comfortable and clean. Always love having a coffee maker, fridge and microwave in my room. Very relaxing sauna, hot tub, and pool. Enjoyed the chocolate chip cookie at check-in. Only downfall was the line for breakfast.
