The hotel staff were efficient with check in. I was told I could call down and order food, and then come down to pick it up after they called to let me know it was ready. The phone apparently was not working properly in room, and after 4 attempts to call "Gallery Host" with no success I finally went down to order and wait. Would not have been a bother […] if not exhausted and ill from travel. I told a gentleman what had taken place and he said something about the portable phone being off the hand set or something. Whatever the reason was, they were all very prompt and polite getting food ready. And went out of their way to be kind. This is second stay in same property and I would stay again. Our only issue was in the morning, when I used the 'dedicated' button for express checkout, I was told by the woman that answered "You want express checkout...well let me connect you to the desk." I travel a lot and was not expecting much for the price we paid for this room- but was very pleasantly surprised by this tidy and stylish hotel. Decor seemed new, room was huge and the service was superb - starting with our airport shuttle driver and on through. I was very pleasantly surprised and if had to fly into RDU again would only stay here.

Nice place to stay. Great breakfast. The only problem I had was getting gas on my way to the airport. Not the hotel's fault, obviously, but it was an issue with location....not a lot of gas stations near by.

Everyone was pleasant and helpful except the woman at the desk Sunday morning 2/10. She was very curt and not very responsive to requests. The shuttle driver that morning was very pleasant and helpful with directions.

So close they give you complimentary ear plugs. Planes started takeoffs at 6, and then every half hour. Didn't bother me, but it might bother you.

I'm not one to write these things, but this hotel is an excellent value. Hidden off Airport Road, it provides airport shuttle service, and is convenient to the Triangle area. The staff are extraordinarily kind and helpful. We requested extra coffee and one staff member searched the storage until she found some, later delivering it personally to our […] room. Another staff member helped me look for a watch I'd misplaced - even checking personally with each of the cleaning staff (I later found it deep in a pocket of my bag...). And, the breakfast cook was kind enough to create a meat-free egg sandwich for me in the morning. BTW, this breakfast bar is freshly cooked and diced items, not the frozen, processed, dehydrated eggs kind. We enjoyed the small but clean outdoor pool and access to adjacent fitness facilities; those at Hyatt Place are very nice, but cardio only, which is usually adequate anyway. The room layout provides nooks and crannies that feel more like a studio apartment. The bed, covers, pillows, couch, huge screen tv, and spaciousness provided a pleasant and restful stay. Overall I was very impressed with the Hyatt Place. The hotel is gorgeous and the room was very clean. The staff was very accommodating and they even let me check in hours earlier. Yes, the Hyatt is very close to the airport but I thought they did an excellent job with keeping the hotel very quiet.
