Festiva's Church Street Inn - Charleston

Located right in the middle of the open air market with many restaurants and shops. Waterfront is walk able. Would deffinately stay here again.

The location couldn't be better. Just 1/2 block to Market, shops, restuarants. Room was fine - a full kitchen with a loft bedroom. Recommend highly. Very clean, large courtyard for all on first floor, coffee every morning. Service excellent. Rate was $230 approximately, weekday night

Excellent service and staff. Room was a large and comfortable , two story townhouse style with upstairs bedroom and downstairs living area. No restaurant or bar on site, but rooms include a full kitchenette. Right next to the open market and walking distance to shops , the waterfront and restaurants. My niece and I were very impressed with the beautiful room and its layout. The two story design is unique and decorated beautifully. We will DEFINately be back!

Great place to be in Charleston. A block from the open market and tons of places to walk to. A unique two story room. No breakfast,wine snacks like other Charleston hotels and its a time share operation as well (not complaints, just observations). Parking is $20 per night but that's pretty common in Charleston.

The only negative is that there was not enough good lighting, especially to read beside the bed, and no full length mirrors to see how you were dressed after buying in some of the shops or if you wanted to go out to a nice restaurant.

Hotel was GREAT! unfortunately hide-a-bed was horrible, so luckily only one child, so he slept on the sofa folded up. loved that we could live out of it. also, child left behind teddy bear and we were able to call and retrieve it when we drove back thru a few days later. My family and I were very satisfied with our experience at this property. Although our room was not ready for us upon our arrival at 4PM after a long day of travel, the hotel staff was very apologetic and did offer us options to make amends and compensate us for this inconvenience. Also, despite very little lobby space, they were able to stow our luggage […] until our room was ready. Thus, the level of professionalism and customer service at this hotel is to be commended. Although our room was supposed to have been a double, it was actually a king with a fold out bed in the downstairs living area. This was not a problem, however, as the fold-out was roomy and comfortable. It easily accommodated both of our teenage daughters, and my husband and I loved the comfort and space of a king bed and the added privacy of the upstairs/downstairs sleeping arrangement. Two minor issues did crop up - lighting and television. There are not enough lights in the rooms, and those that are present are dim. The TV also presented a problem because the controllers were complicated (two required to operate it) and we never did figure out how to view the channels we had hoped to watch. To sum it up, this hotel was comfortable, clean, well-placed, and a good value for the money. I especially appreciated the efforts of the staff to be welcoming and to provide good customer service. We hope to return at a later date for a longer visit, and I will definitely try to book our room here. Read more

Many great places to eat, especially Barbara Jeans (you've got to try the pancakes for breakfast and the shrimp sausage patty). The 2 story room was a surprise but greatly appreciated. The room needed comfortable chairs and a smaller table as there was no place to sit but on the couch and the table took up to much room and you did not need that much eating space.
