Daxa's Inn Houston Bush Intercontinental - Humble

It started with the name. My GPS was right but I was looking dor a sign with Daxa's Inn on it. As I did not see it, I did not stop when I saw the Knights Inn sign. I had to drive few miles to get back. The building was creepy, old and poorly maintained. The room was ok, old, but clean. The TV set should be in a museum and I had to go to the reception […] in order to get a remote for it. There were no hangers or iron and I had to go back to the reception once again. It was Wednesday, the internet was not working and "should to be back on Saturday", I was informed. Place is very noise, on the corner of two major Hgwys. The surrounding area was creepier as it could possibly be. I have being to many better hotels than this one paying way less. Read more

This hotel has changed names and owners. It is now the Knights Inn. The Daxas Inn website is still up and running and it says that airport shuttle and continental breakfast are included in stay. Well that is no longer the case under new management. Cost $24 US taxi from airport and $20 US for return trip to airport. Expedia needs to update to new name […] so that people won't get the inaccurate/misleading information from the Daxas Inn website which the new owners have not removed. Read more

First things first, this is not Daxa's Inn, it is Knights Inn. Which is helpful information when trying rty locate them. The T.V.'s were outdated. We had to be moved to a different room after we got settled because the T.V. in our 1st room wasn't working. This Hotel had absolutely nowhere to park our car. the rooms and parking are for working men/trucks in construction so all around the hotel big construction trucks and workers. all hanging around on the stairway smoking their cigarettes as you try to pass. we immediatley went to front desk to ask for a nother room near parking on the other side of hotel […] and was told nothing available untill we asked to check out because there was nowhere to park. They then provided a roomwhere we had parking for the night. But you had to get to parking before and stay parked before 4pm. So we were room bound because of the parking. Poor choice. Read more

I had a 12 hour lay over so got a room. They provided a free shuttle both ways. I was picked up by the owner who was a kind and very pleasant woman. She was an excellent safe driver. She was helpful, informative, offered advice about all the needs I might have, food, store etc..The room was very clean, roomy and comfortable. Nice comfortable bed, ac/heater […] worked great. Shower had great pressure. I was taken back to the airport by a nice man who also drove safe. The hall had a bit of odor like some older places do, but in the room it's self there was none at all. It is OK for the Money you pay. Perhaps its biggest advantage is that it is near the Airport. If you are there only for one night before your early morning flight, this would be a perfect stop. They however DO NOT HAVE AN AIRPORT SHUTTLE as claimed on "hotels.com'. I had to pay $25 for a cab, and had to pay up to $40 on a cab the night before my flight […] to go look for food (the hotel is VERY far from fast food places or even regular - inexpensive restaurants. Somewhat near the airport, shuttle is available. Gas station walking distance from hotel, other than that, not much in the area to walk to. Hotel was clean, bed was comfy enough, had a mini fridge and microwave in the room, my only complaint is the main entry hallway smelled of smoke. The only good thing to be said about this.hotel is it's close to the airport. Upon arrival I was told the shuttle was free but the parking was not. The hotel web page did not say you had to pay for parking. The manager told me that everyone has to learn lessons and this is just a lesson I would have to learn. She also talked in circles about why people […] use the free shuttle but do not park there and when I questioned her further she said that she was sorry I was not smart enough to understand! She aslso said she did not care what review I gave because I am only one person. Needless to say we did not park at her hotel and she "forgot" to give us a wake up call. This hotel is clean, friendly, and efficient. They are not super fancy but it is perfect for crashing in on your way to another place. The shuttle ride is about 10 to 15 minutes either way, the check-in is quick, and the staff are very helpful.

The staff were friendly and the bed was just good. The Driver was on time to pick me up from the airport and sending me back. I took the shuttle to town to do some shopping and I was picked up exactly on time. The breakfast is also up to standard. I will highly recommend Knight to every traveller.

The people were friendly. The rooms were clean and everything worked. The shuttle to the airport was on time and convenient. Nothing luxurious, but all that we needed. Most important is that it was quiet for the perfect nights sleep.
