Clean rooms with a good breakfast. The train is a short walk and approximately 30 minutes to some great slopes.

We spent two nights and enjoyed them both. We arrived early and the hotel staff was more than happy to hold our luggage and place it in the room for us so we could immediately go out and explore Lucerne. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel and it provides convenient access to town. The hotel location is across the lake from Lucerne, but that gives you some beautiful views of the city and the surrounding mountains. Well worth not being in the hustle and bustle of a busy town. The hotel is right on the edge of Lake Lucerne.

The reception was warm and helpful: Our room was charming. We were sorry the restaurant was not available for dinner as the chef was on holiday, but the staff assisted us with lovely dinner reservations. Located in a small traditional village, close to Lucern and Zurich. Good for outdoor activities. Communication was no problem as people spoke multiple languages.

Planned a short weekend get away and found the hotel on line. My wife always checks the reviews and was intrigued with the restaurant guest comments.... Well, the reviews were right! We were pleased with the room and our dog was very welcome. But, the highlight of the trip was our dinner in the hotel restaurant with Chef Simon and team. Everything we ordered was a taste delight. The wine list left you many options including some upper end choices. We finished the evening off with the Brownie Dessert. Wow, was about all we both could say about the chocolate/spice combination. Das Hotel ist modern und schön eingerichtet. Das Zimmer war auch schön. Das Badezimmer ist neu und top. Das Frühstücksbuffet hatte viel an Auswahl. Das Personal ist zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Obwohl das Hotel am Bahnhof liegt, hat man nicht viel gehört.
