A room for 4 is ok but not really suitable for a family of 2 adults and 2 children. We are not overweight or particularly tall just average. Kids too. The 2 beds seem to be larger than a twin and smaller than a full sized bed. We were there for 2 nights over the weekend. My recent visit to this hotel was marred by an overnight water line leak which left me unable to check into my room. This would have been okay, had the hotel told me this earlier in the day when I dropped of my bags (it was before check in time) or called me to let me know they had booked me in another hotel for the night. You can't ask for much more at this price. Seriously good location with very nice and accomodating hotel staff. I expected the rooms to be so-so and rough around the edges, and even perhaps less than clean. That was simply not the case! The room was very small but clean and modern. The bed was a little lumpy but good pillows... Good bathroom!! No meal services whatsoever and few amenities.... They raised the rate when I extended my stay because of a snowstorm... bad form... Very convenient to Canal Street station

Great location, walking distance to many sites plus several subway lines to the rest. Nice little French restaurant next door, and a couple of blocks from Little Italy restaurants. Friendly staff, but rooms are typical NYC cozy, especially for 2 doubles.

We have stayed in seveal chain hotels in NYC prior to Solita, but thought we would give this one a try. Though the hotel offers a great location, friendly staff and is clean, this is not the hotel for you if you are looking for sizable rooms and beds. Our double/double room was extremely small. This place is very clean, friendly and safe. The dual-head showers are wonderfully refreshing. The beds are really comfy. There are tons of amazing restaurants within a few blocks. The prince street and canal street subway stations are very close to the Solita Soho. The rooms are small, but there is everything you need.

Very good all round for the price. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Very friendly staff. Great location for downtown Manhattan, very convenient for subways and buses to get to the rest of town. Would definitely stay here again. Background - we're a couple in our early fifties, stayed here without kids.

This is the epitome of a postage size hotel room. Our room had a desk, but no chair. A pad of paper but no pen. Wifi didn't work past the 4th floor, and we were on the 11th. The air conditioner was one of the loudest I've ever heard, and the room had a horrible musty smell. The elevator was frightening as it creaked and cracked on the way up and down. […] I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, ever. I only took it because of the location to the event I was attending, and it's where most of the other guys were staying, but when it was all said and done, there was no real reason I needed to be there and I should've booked something with a little more credibility to their name. Vi var jättenöjda. Städningen funkade toppen. Det enda var aircondition aggregatet som var placerat precis intill den ena sängen. Det blåste i intervaller och det blev väldigt blåsigt när det satte igång. Ingen frukost/kök på hotellet men det visste vi ju innan.

Rommet ble trangt for to dobbeltseier. Utmerket beliggenhet i Lower Eastside/Soho. Glad vi valgte dette hotellet framfor skyskraper hotell i Midtown. 100 meter til Little Italy og historiske New York. Dessverre en del gravearbeid foran hotellet, men det hadde ingen konsekvens da man våkner tidlig grunnet tidsforskjell uansett. Das Hotel ist erst einige Jahre alt und in einem guten und sauberen Zustand. Allerdings empfanden wir das Zimmer, das mit 2 Doppelbetten an insgesamt 4 Personen vermietet werden kann, als zu klein. Hotellet ligger midt i Little Italy, Soho. Kort vei til shopping på Broadway og Spring Street, masse kafeer og restauranter i området. Det er et enkelt hotell, men rommene (og sengene, mmmm) er bra selv om rommene er ganske små. Vi fkk også en meget god pris, så vi er fornøyde med oppholdet.

Personalen var väldigt trevliga & hjälpsamma. Ganska trångt i rummet (de 2 jättestora sängar tog nästan allt utrymme) men rummet var rent & välstädat. Sängar var väldigt bekväma. En nackdel vid hotellets läge var oväsen som hörs från tunnelbanan under gatan precis utanför hotellet.

Un bon plan pour visiter Manhattan. Métro, Word Trade Center, restaurants italiens à proximité. Chambre exigüe mais impeccable. Pas de petit déjeuner mais il y a un Starbucks café à 300 mètres.

Topp beliggenhet, små rom, men hva gjør det. Kort vei til T.bane, lett å ta seg frem i NYC med utgangspunkt fra hotellet. Reiser gjerne tilbake.

Een klein hotel perfect voor een kort bezoek aan New York. Ligging vlak bij metro, bediening erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kamers schoon alleen jammer dat vergeten wordt ook onder de bedden te stofzuigen. Badkamer klein, heeft opknapbeurt nodig maar kan er mee door. Internet via Wifi was 1e dagen bereikbaar, daarna niet meer. Navraag leerde dat de […] wifi (Solita) connectie niet van het hotel was, het hotel zou geen wifi hebben, wel internet via kabel. Personeel van receptie heeft geen stoelen en moet de hele tijd staan, lijkt me erg slecht voor de rug, vooral omdat de PC vrij laag staat. Alle delen van Manhattan goed bereikbaar met metro. Buurt is overwegend chinees, druk maar vriendelijk. Read more
