"Not a luxury hotel, but very adequate"
We really needed reservations in Hot Springs to attend the funeral of a family member. However, due to racing season, and on such short notice, nothing was available in the Hot Springs location. We were happy to find this hotel despite the fact that it was about 25 miles from where we needed to be. The price and overall comfort and cleanliness were […] acceptable and about average. The personnel were very accommodating and helpful. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel was able to give me a great room at very short notice. Staff was very helpful, hotel was very clean, and the location was very convenient to interstate and many dinner options. When traveling through the area again I will definitely stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very nice for the money. Comfortable bed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I usually stay at a Marriott and there wasn't one in this town. We had to ask for another comfortor because one of them was so dirty. We had to ask for another ironing board because the one in the room wouldn't open. Also, there was something wrong with the refrigerator in the room, it didn't work and I had medicene that had to go in there. Just seemed […] like everything was broken. "Great hotel, shame about location"
The hotel is great, everything is clean, breakfast was nice. Staff are good and helpful, swimming pool clean and quiet. Only problem is the location. Malvern is in a dry county so couldn't get a drink anywhere for about 9 miles, so not ideal for tourists.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

We stayed in this Comfort Inn on July 3, 2014. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling and vent. Black mold came out of the drain in the bathtub/shower combo. Towel rack in bathroom broken. The furniture(chari and ottoman) were filthy. We will never stay here again.

My family and I spent the day at Magic Springs and needed a room for 1 night. We chose this hotel as Malvern is a short drive to Hot Springs, and the hotels in Hot Springs were either too expensive or did not rate very well. This hotel was a very good decision for the reasonable price. The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast was very good also. There was waffles, eggs, buscuits and gravy, along with cereal, bagels, muffins, fruit, etc. to eat.. There are a number fast food restaurants ( and a Walmart) within walking distance. Will definitely use again.

I give this hotel high marks for clean rooms, comfortable bedding, and courteous staff. However, the breakfast area is very tiny and the breakfast selection is sadly lacking. No fruit, white bread and plain bagels only, dry cereal only. Really tough to eat healthy.
"Best lodging for the money"

We spent one night at this Comfort Inn while attending the races at Oaklawn in Hot Springs, and was not disappointed. We have stayed at this location for the last 3 years in April, and they keep getting better each year. Very clean, carpets are new, very comfortable beds and pillows, breakfast was very good, Biscuits and gravy, boiled eggs & egg patties, 2 flavors of waffles, fresh fruit, pastries, muffins and the usual breads. If there was a negative, the towels and wash cloths could have been more plentiful and whiter/fluffier.

This Comfort Inn is close to the Interstate and convenient to find. However we have an RV and parking was difficult---the lot for trucks etc was on a steep incline and not configured for convenient access. We were assigned a suite near the soft drink machines---and had to request an alternate due to the noise from the machines---no hassle--the clerk accommodated us without an issue. The continental breakfast was just fine.
"Nice place to lay your head"

It was the best out of 3 places we slept on trip. It was a wonderful bed and pillows were great. The continental breakfast was really good. Places aren't offering the waffles anymore but they do and even offer strawberry flavored as well. The only problem was the check in was not easy. She had trouble with giving the AARP discount and when checking out the man still had trouble getting the discount on it. So I have a larger charge then a credit on my card. Still worth staying there. Thank you for taking good care of the place and customer
"Pleased with stay"

First night on our return journey to California from Tennessee. Normally we would drive further on the first day, but we had a late start, so realistically the 4 hour drive here was all we could handle. After such a day, you want to be able to check in and relax and have a good nights sleep. I was very pleased with our stay. The check in was smooth, no hiccups at all. The room was clean and very inviting with the warm colored carpet, bed cover and curtains. Beds were nice and comfy. There was a table and chairs, which is nice for kids to sit and eat their dinner. Microwave and refrigerator were perfect for storing leftovers and popping popcorn. The hotel is located right off I-30. It is always a plus to see the hotel near the interstate and a big plus when you do not hear the interstate noise. There is a shopping center as well as Walmart near the hotel. There were several fast food restaurants near too. McDonalds is within walking distance Did not really want any fast-food, so we chose to pick up food from Larry's Pizza which was also within walking distance. Breakfast was normal hotel items ( bagels, yogurt, waffle maker, cereal, boiled eggs, danish). My husband picked up biscuit and gravy with little omelets for his breakfast. He said it brings back memories of Navy food. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay. If we choose to do a similar short drive from Tennessee, we will plan to return.
"Good room, so-so breakfast."

The room was good. Comfortable bed. The breakfast was just ok. The butter (whipped margarine) had a dark yellow layer on top (I tried four different ones) indicating it was real old. The orange juice had a couple dark green floaters in it that looked like mold. I asked for a complimentary toothpaste tube - the lady at the desk said the owner doesn't allow that. My gut feeling is that a few corners are being cut. Old butter etc... That said, the room was fine.
"two night stay very nice"
09/29/13 nick4554 TN
I stayed here for two nights recently and was very happy with the hotel location and rooms. There is a shopping center across the parking lot with two or three local restaurants and a McD right next to the hotel up the hill, so once you park you really don't have to drive again to get dinner. Rooms were nice, everything was fine but the wifi internet was spotty - worked sometimes and then just kicked you off unexpectedly. Seems like an ongoing problem. Far enough off the interstate to be quiet enough for sleeping. Would stay here again.
