"Convenient for short stay"
Visited Malvern, Ark for a wedding. Hotel was close to the venue. Stayed two days. Hotel bed was exceptionally comfortable. Room was very clean with all the standard amentities. The shower was good and hot. All appliances, and AC worked well. Staff was efficient. There were several very convenient establishments close by like Walmart, gas stations , […] and fast food places for a quick bite. Hotel also provided a decent breakfast. Would stay again. "Close to our route"
The hotel was OK. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean, bathroom was clean also. The hotel had laundry facilities for guests, so that was nice, we were on our third nite of a motorcycle trip.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Not perfect, but a good deal in a small town."
Convenient to stores and restaurants. Room was clean and quiet, the beds comfortable, shower was wonderful, great breakfast with usual cold items plus hot breakfast sandwich makings. Now the drawback. We requested a roll away bed for our teen age boy. There was an extra charge for it during check in, but that was refunded after I reported that when […] the boy sat down on it his bottom went all the way to the floor. It was complete trash, worn out, no others available so we went to the nearby Walmart and bought a sleeping bag for him to put on the floor to sleep on. Teen aged boys are not comfortable sharing a bed with an old lady (me). I doubt if he'd rate the place as high as I'm going to. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Comfort Inn Malvern, AR"
Had a nice room at a good price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not a luxury hotel, but very adequate"
We really needed reservations in Hot Springs to attend the funeral of a family member. However, due to racing season, and on such short notice, nothing was available in the Hot Springs location. We were happy to find this hotel despite the fact that it was about 25 miles from where we needed to be. The price and overall comfort and cleanliness were […] acceptable and about average. The personnel were very accommodating and helpful. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel, shame about location"
The hotel is great, everything is clean, breakfast was nice. Staff are good and helpful, swimming pool clean and quiet. Only problem is the location. Malvern is in a dry county so couldn't get a drink anywhere for about 9 miles, so not ideal for tourists.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Not Smoke Free"
10/12/14 David S San Antonio, Texas, United States
They allow smoking and for me that is bad. If not for the lateness of the night, we would have moved on. Various items in the room were broke. The CB was OK but really could use some work. Not sure where the eggs came from but they were nasty. The gravy was the best thing but the biscuits had been heated too long in the microwave so they were has as a rock. The pool had not been cleaned in weeks. Our room was supposed to be non-smoking but the smoke drifted in from the cracks in the doors and bottom. I could see signs that they are trying but they are coming up short. Hallway was full of smoke.

We stayed in this Comfort Inn on July 3, 2014. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling and vent. Black mold came out of the drain in the bathtub/shower combo. Towel rack in bathroom broken. The furniture(chari and ottoman) were filthy. We will never stay here again.

My family and I spent the day at Magic Springs and needed a room for 1 night. We chose this hotel as Malvern is a short drive to Hot Springs, and the hotels in Hot Springs were either too expensive or did not rate very well. This hotel was a very good decision for the reasonable price. The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast was very good also. There was waffles, eggs, buscuits and gravy, along with cereal, bagels, muffins, fruit, etc. to eat.. There are a number fast food restaurants ( and a Walmart) within walking distance. Will definitely use again.

I give this hotel high marks for clean rooms, comfortable bedding, and courteous staff. However, the breakfast area is very tiny and the breakfast selection is sadly lacking. No fruit, white bread and plain bagels only, dry cereal only. Really tough to eat healthy.
"Best lodging for the money"

We spent one night at this Comfort Inn while attending the races at Oaklawn in Hot Springs, and was not disappointed. We have stayed at this location for the last 3 years in April, and they keep getting better each year. Very clean, carpets are new, very comfortable beds and pillows, breakfast was very good, Biscuits and gravy, boiled eggs & egg patties, 2 flavors of waffles, fresh fruit, pastries, muffins and the usual breads. If there was a negative, the towels and wash cloths could have been more plentiful and whiter/fluffier.

This Comfort Inn is close to the Interstate and convenient to find. However we have an RV and parking was difficult---the lot for trucks etc was on a steep incline and not configured for convenient access. We were assigned a suite near the soft drink machines---and had to request an alternate due to the noise from the machines---no hassle--the clerk accommodated us without an issue. The continental breakfast was just fine.
"Nice place to lay your head"
03/29/14 Michelle L Elizabethtown
It was the best out of 3 places we slept on trip. It was a wonderful bed and pillows were great. The continental breakfast was really good. Places aren't offering the waffles anymore but they do and even offer strawberry flavored as well. The only problem was the check in was not easy. She had trouble with giving the AARP discount and when checking out the man still had trouble getting the discount on it. So I have a larger charge then a credit on my card. Still worth staying there. Thank you for taking good care of the place and customer
"Pleased with stay"
01/04/14 TravelinCalifornia California
First night on our return journey to California from Tennessee. Normally we would drive further on the first day, but we had a late start, so realistically the 4 hour drive here was all we could handle. After such a day, you want to be able to check in and relax and have a good nights sleep. I was very pleased with our stay. The check in was smooth, no hiccups at all. The room was clean and very inviting with the warm colored carpet, bed cover and curtains. Beds were nice and comfy. There was a table and chairs, which is nice for kids to sit and eat their dinner. Microwave and refrigerator were perfect for storing leftovers and popping popcorn. The hotel is located right off I-30. It is always a plus to see the hotel near the interstate and a big plus when you do not hear the interstate noise. There is a shopping center as well as Walmart near the hotel. There were several fast food restaurants near too. McDonalds is within walking distance Did not really want any fast-food, so we chose to pick up food from Larry's Pizza which was also within walking distance. Breakfast was normal hotel items ( bagels, yogurt, waffle maker, cereal, boiled eggs, danish). My husband picked up biscuit and gravy with little omelets for his breakfast. He said it brings back memories of Navy food. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay. If we choose to do a similar short drive from Tennessee, we will plan to return.
