The hotel is is very well set out and for an airport hotel is loctaed in a rather pleasant setting looking out across the bay.The breakfast is very good quality with something for everyone.

I've just returned from The Bay Landing and cant recommend it highly enough. The hotel is only 10 minutes from the airport by free shuttle bus. From the moment I arrived I found the staff very courteous and helpful. The room was quit, very spacious and kept very clean. The self service breakfast was plentiful and very filling. Perhaps the service area was maybe just a bit small but fine if you went in a bit earlier or later. There's no restaurant in the hotel but a few good eateries close by. The Elephant Bar next door is very good but busy. The hotel does have a snack room with vending machines dispensing frozen or chilled meals and snacks. The rooms have a microwave and tea/coffee makers.I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. Its an absolute must if your looking for high quality hotel at a budget price. Its perfect for either a 1 night stop or like me a base for 4 nights whilst being a tourist in San Francisco.

This hotel offers very good value for money, is well located for access to the airport, has good eateries within walking distance, and a room on the east side gives the opportunity for a wonderful sunrise view over SF Bay. Good value for money ( getting into SF by car can be a nightmare, but links from the airport can solve the problem)

I get to SF 6-8 times a year for business. I've stayed in every part of town but, no more. This hotel is very clean and close to anyting you want and you don't have to pay downtown prices and parking is free.

The facility itself was clean and well maintained, though the decor seems like an outdated hotel trying to be more upscale. But for the important things - the staff was friendly - breakfast was free - parking was free - free shuttle to airport every 30 minutes - close proximity to airport without too much noise - water pressure in faucet and shower were sufficient - bed was borderline uncomfortable for my liking

I found this hotel to be an excellent choice for the money. Quiet location though near SFO. Next to several restaurants. Room was clean. Hotel mattress was just adequate, though not uncomfortable.

Nice on the outside, rooms need updating. Decent place to stay if you have to get to the airport early the next day. Great complimentary continental breakfast.

When I checked in the desk staff was "too busy" with a personal phone call on her cell phone to actually pay any attention to me or give me direction to my room. She did put her phone down long enough to tell me that I needed to put a parking validation on my car dash and then got right back on her "important" phone call. It was rude and annoying to say the least, especially after I had gotten lost trying to get to the hotel. I had called for directions from the airport but the hotel phone was not answered - probably because she was on her personal phone then too. It was a late check in but that really should not matter!!! The morning staff was much more pleasant but by then I was checking out.

I have been a loyal customer with frequesnt stays and the desk staff acknowledged that as I entered the hotel. Then, desk staff told me to wait for check in at the coffee bar and promised to me when the computer came up but I returned to see them helping someone else get a room.

We arrived at the Bay Landing at 9 p.m. after a very long day of driving from Oregon. We had called the hotel about an hour before arriving to find out if the walk-in rate would be the same as on Hotels.com. The walk-in rate was higher so we booked our room online. When we arrived, we were told that no King rooms were available even though hotels.com had offered that room (along with a double room). We asked to speak to the manager but no manager was available. The clerks were very understanding and after a few minutes of trying to accommodate our room selection, we were told that a King room was available for us that night. The customer service was exceptional and the hotel itself was terrific. We would highly recommend this hotel to others.

My brother and I have noted (this is our second stay) that the bathroom fixtures (shower is by excellent quality Moen) and the wash basin is high quality Kohler. Door handles and (including bathroom door) are "substantial" in feel. Room floor plan well organized and of generous size. The breakfast room was adequate to handle the number of people we experienced the four days we were there. And the breakfast selections were good and plentiful. The entire operation spells Q-U-A-L-I-T-Y. If prices remain reasonable as this and the first occasion, we will continue to give The Bay Landing Hotel our business.

Good value for money. Great room comfort

The hotel is quiet, comfortable, and most importantly, clean. It has a nice view of the lagoon. The free breakfast was good and very convenient. I would definately stay again.

Luxurious hotel, comfortable accommodations, great breakfast - an all around great value! And 5 minutes from the airport!

Hotel is not only in an excellent location with great surroundings (right on the bay!), but the condition of the hotel is excellent and the staff and services great. Excellent value for money!

Breakfast was good , staff helped us with transportation and the free shuttle to the airport was very convenient to get the art. The bay view was great and was an excellent place just to sit and watch the planes take off and land almost on the water. Really enjoyed eating on the open patio and enjoying the sun.Surprisingly it was not noisy at all. Will definitely stay there again.

The location was nice and the rooms were comfortable. The continental breakfast was great and convenient. They had a good selection of food to choose from. I would stay here again if I come back to the area.

Room was clean and nicely decorated. Good variety of hot/cold items on the breakfast bar. Free parking. Two restaurants right next door. Close to airport and highways. Will definitely stay here again.

This hotel has it! Close to SFO for those traveling, close to SF itself for those wanting a better value for a weekend get-away, and walking distance to several restaurants and a the SF Bay Trail. Our room was very nice: large and clean. Staff was professional and courteous. We'll definitely stay here again.

This hotel is excellent, and much better than most hotels in the area. It's fairly new, and it's independent, which allows it the freedom to be a little different. There are even complimentary freshly-baked cookies at reception! It's a short (5 minute) drive to the airport, with free shuttles available. The hotel is next to and overlooks the bay, with great views of incoming and departing planes across the water, especially from the terrace at breakfast. The rooms are large and bright, and well insulated from outside and inside noise. Housekeeping are great and kept the place clean and very pleasant to stay in. Wireless internet and the lobby PC (with printer) all work really well, and the guest coin-operated laundry was very useful. Polite and efficient staff top it off - the only downfall was the alarm clock in the room which was rather confusing!

I stayed at this establishment for a business trip recently. The staff was great and the room was affordable. It worked out nicely!

Quiet, comfortable, convenient. Spacious rooms, excellent mattress. Everything worked. I am a frequent traveler to the Bay Area and have tried many alternatives, including staying with relatives. This is the best choice for me.

Only 5 years old, the hotel was quiet and very clean. Very comfortable. Only the coffee was sub par.

The hotel was very nice. Rooms were neat and comfortable. Great view of the bay, sunrise and planes taking off/landing. Surprisingly quiet for how close we were to the airport. As for negatives. We had four people in our room for four nights. Took them to the third day to leave us enough towels for everyone. And when we would inquire about it we got a little attitude in return. Kind of nit picky, but the layout of the eating area is horrible. Servere bottle neck to get to the food and nowhere near enough seating for the size of the hotel. Much better when you go earlier (6 AM).

Definitely would stay here again. Great view of the bay.

We were thrilled with our choice to stay at this hotel for a few nights before flying out of SFO. Great walking right next to the Bay. Reasonable rates. Excellent breakfast. Definitely recommend.

for the price I paid I would have thought that the staff would have been overly enthusiastic to greet me. But that was my only complaint. Hotel is very clean, very accommodating and very comfortable.

Stayed for a short business trip. Staff was friendly, the service was good, room was very clean and nicely restocked. The breakfast had a good variety of both pastries, waffles, breads and eggs, yogurt, fruit, cheeses, etc. Well balanced. Overall great experience and will stay again!

What a surprise to find a nice room, access to internet, breakfast, 5 minutes to airport, king bed, etc. This is a GREAT deal and we will book this hotel again each time we fly out of SF.

We selected this hotel knowing that after a very long day traveling from the UK we wouldn't want to journey far once we arrived in San Francisco. Bay Landing was less than a 10 minute taxi ride from the airport ($12) and we went almost straight to bed. The room was very comfortable, clean, no smells, and well equipped. Our deal included free breakfast which we ate outside on the patio where classical music is played. The hotel is located on the edge of the bay overlooking the airport from which little noise can be heard. It really is a lovely hotel and one we will use again. Highly recommended.
