"Perfect B&B and innkeepers"
What a great place to enjoy NH from. The innkeepers take great pride in their facility and make sure that you enjoy your stay and get to see all the local sights. Providing maps and recommended driving routes to enjoy the scenery was an especially thoughtful touch. My wife was impressed that there were nice wine glasses available for her evening night […] cap in the room - something that we have not seen in fancy hotels! We will definitely be going back. Perfect, luxury. But pricey. I'm only interested in a comfortable , clean bed, and shower. And prefer to spent less for lodging. However the breakfast was 5 star. Owners knew the area well and were helpful.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Best spontaneous vacation ever"
This trip to NH was a spur-of-the-moment decision and I'm glad that I booked at Glynn! Glenn and Pam were wonderful hosts and made sure I had everything I needed for the hike I was planning, and had great suggestions on things to do, and places to eat. The breakfasts were delicious--I kind of wish I had time to stay to try them all!Genuine Expedia guest review

Definitive destination for visiting NH and surroundings. Greatest host with multiple suggestions for activities and restaurant! Very well package experience with great rooms and breakfast!Genuine Expedia guest review
The Glynn House Inn in Ashland hasnow become a landmark in our travels. The innkeepers were warm, sincere, flexible, informative and entertaining. The chef's presentations, in every respect, reflected her culinary travels, skill and imagination. Truly a relaxing three-day visit.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Glynn House, New Hampshire"
Quite disappointed as we thought this may be one of the best stays of our trip. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Our disappointment came from the layout of the room and it was not large. The bed was too high and almost needed a step to get in, there was one available, it was also small in width. The biggest problem was the shower was in the […] bedroom and there was no extractor, not that they are brilliant for steam in any case. On the plus side the breakfasts were excellent. "Glynn House Inn Ashland - a lovely place to stay"
This inn is lovely and the personal service is excellent. Breakfasts were indeed gourmet but I think they are OTT. eg french toast stuffed with ricotta cheese. They were too rich for us and the main breakfasts were all like this . Nothing ordinary. However they were beautiful and we enjoyed being pampered. Each of the rooms are called after former presidents […] and we were in the Hoover room. Disappointed to find no wardrobe and one side of the bed had no table so nowhere to put glass or book. Also air con couldn't be turned down and it was freezing. Note in the room said not to touch the settings as it would interfere with all the rooms. Glad to get out in the blistering heat. These were just minor points but we had a great time. The owners are really friendly and out to make sure that you have a great experience with them. Worth visiting if you are into gourmet breakfasts.

"A great stay"

My husband and I stayed for a night in the Monroe room. It included a fireplace and jacuzzi tub, which was something special that we do not usually get when taking overnight trips. It is the only hotel/b&b that we have stayed at where we wanted to spend as much time in the room as possible! Glenn, was very available to answer any questions and made us a very nice breakfast in the morning. We left the Inn and went skiing at Ragged mountain, which was also great and a very short drive. Next time I think we will try a different room just for fun to see what it is like!
"Our favorite getaway location"
02/22/14 Mary Beth M Epsom, New Hampshire
We have been visiting Glynn house annually in February for five years now. We always choose the Adams Suite because we love the layout and amenities it offers us. It is thoroughly private, quiet, and luxurious. We love the warmth and ambiance of the gas fireplace and the indulgence of the double Jacuzzi tub. The draw for us the stellar service, the amazing breakfast offerings, and complete privacy. The surrounding area offers many activities for outdoor lovers, shoppers, and many fine dining choices. Our goal is simply to get away and completely relax. We have never been disappointed and guarantee our next visit will be in February of 2015.
"romance + skiing"

this is a great place to spend few romantic days and do some skiing as well. Whoever I take there (this was my third time), they love it. My present girlfriend enjoyed it very much. She especially enjoyed taking relaxing bath with the fireplace on.
"A great stay!"

Last weekend my girlfriend and I stayed in the Grant Jr. Suite at the Glynn House Inn after spending the afternoon doing some dogsledding in the area. In looking for a place to stay overnight after our dogsledding adventure, we settled on the Glynn house as it seemed to be a B+B that offered tremendous service, first-class accommodations, and a reasonable value. After staying there, our suspicions were confirmed: the Glynn House Inn was just what we were looking for. When we arrived, Glenn welcomed us and took us for a tour of the downstairs area. There is a beautiful dining area, and a small sitting room where afternoon snacks and wine are served. We were impressed with the cleanliness and quality of the rooms and upholstery. We were pleased with Glenn's manners, friendliness, and professionalism. Our room, the Grant Jr. Suite, was fantastic. We loved the fireplace and the double whirlpool put the room over the top! One nice thing about the Grant Jr. Suite is that it is a corner room so we had really nice natural light coming through both windows. Glenn, when he showed us our room, pointed out the space heater he plugged in so that we could immediately get the room to our desired temperature. This small gesture is a microcosm of the service and attentiveness of Glenn and the Glynn House Inn as a whole. The wine and cheese hour was a great touch, and, had we wanted, Glenn would have kept on filling up our glasses! The next morning we went down to breakfast: a classy affair with fresh fruit plates to start, coffee and juice, delicious homemade muffins, and made-to-order entrees such as pesto poached eggs and stuffed pancakes. Our stomachs were full and our taste buds satisfied. Again, Glenn's attentiveness and table-side manner as a waiter were superb. We were very impressed with our entire stay at the Glynn House Inn. We'll be recommending it to friends/family, and we'll certainly be back again. The only reason we gave the 'value' a 4 out of 5 is because, for us, the room was expensive; however, given the service, snack hour, breakfast, and beautiful rooms, the price makes sense.
"Excellent Staff and accomodations"

When we go away my wife and I like to be pampered. And that is how we felt at the Glynn House. We were greeted at the door with Glenn offering to carry our bags. Glenn brought us to our room and showed us how to use the fireplace and where everything was. Breakfast, wow is all I can say. If you want service go here and stay for breakfast. When we went to eat breakfast in the morning we chose a table by the window. A perfect ending for the weekend. As soon as we sat we were given a delicious plate of fruit with a choice of juice. This was followed by Coffee and a Strawberry banana muffin. we then chose our main courses for breakfast. I had scrambled eggs with goat cheese and a side of salsa. My wife had the home made Belgium waffles. The entire breakfast had excellent taste and presentation. If you want to impress a loved one, GO HERE.
"Great time at The Glynn House"
02/11/14 William D Westford, Massachusetts
This is the first time my wife and I had tried a bed and breakfast Inn. We had a great time this weekend at the Glynn House. The Inn is a tremendous Victorian style house. It was very clean and welcoming. It was the dead of winter and the Inn was warm and comfortable. Glen and his wife Pam were great hosts. They were very accommodating but not over bearing. Glen offered advice on things to see in the area and the breakfasts were tremendous. Pam is a great cook and the house keeping did a great job in straightening the room while we were out sightseeing. This was our 32nd wedding anniversary and my wife and I were so glad we found the Glynn House Inn. The Inn provided a very nice selection of wine and horderves from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM where we were able to meet some of the other guests at the Inn. Glenn provided advice on the local restaurants and even had their menus on hand. Our room was a two room suite that had a sitting area with a TV and Direct TV, wireless internet connectivity and a sleeping area that expanded into a bath area with a Jacuzzi and shower. The rooms were very clean and warm. It was a great winter get away and we were happy we chose the Glynn House Inn for our first Bed and Breakfast experience.....I am sure we will be back at the Glynn house again - maybe see what it is like in the summer!!
"Perfect Romantic Getaway"
02/04/14 LynneyKins Boston, Massachusetts
My husband and I first stayed at The Glynn House in 2007 and have been back every year since (my husband proposed to me here in 2008! Complete with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries arranged through the inn.)This beautiful Victorian Inn is the perfect location for a weekend away. We especially love visiting in the Winter- it's so nice to come back to our room at the end of the day and sip wine by the fireplace. Glenn, Pam, and Ingrid are such warm and welcoming hosts and do everything they can to make you feel at home. They are so kind and you can see what pride they take in the inn. No detail is overlooked. There are so many little touches (warm cookies fresh out of the oven when we check in, tea/coffee waiting outside the room every morning, robes in the room, little journals in each room where guests write notes about their stay- just to name a few). The rooms are beautifully decorated (we have stayed in the Monroe Suite and Grant Jr. Suite) and very cozy. Glenn is so helpful with planning and booking any area activities (snowmobiling, sleigh rides, etc.-some places even offer a discount if you book through the inn) and can make dining reservations for you as well. He is very knowledgeable about the area and makes great suggestions. You really can just relax and not worry about a thing during your stay. If you prefer to relax in your room, there is a great movie library in the kitchen to borrow DVDs. The innkeepers host wine and horderves in the evening where you can mingle with them and other guests in the parlor. Breakfast is just amazing- coffee/tea, fresh juice, fruit, warm muffins, and your choice of a sweet or savory meal. The stuffed french toast is my personal favorite! When booking your stay, there is also the option to add special touches. We enjoy the welcome tray which includes wine, cheese, and crackers. Definitely check out the options on their website- it's a nice way to make your stay even more special. The Glynn House is a very special place in a great location (so many options for activities, shopping, dining). We highly recommend this B&B to everyone we know and are already looking forward to our next visit!
"A romantic,fun filled weekend"
02/02/14 SouthernNHTweety Southern NH
My hubby and I stayed last night at Glynn House Inn for our second time and we enjoyed every moment. The inn keepers are gracious hosts that truly enjoy what they do. Our stay lacked nothing,we had everything we wanted and the inn keepers even helped my husband surprise me with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries in our room. That just reaffirmed my belief that Glynn House Inn is the best of the best in NH,there is nowhere else we want to stay. They helped us book a snowmobiling adventure at a discounted price and we had a blast. The inn is located just minutes 10 from the Common Man restaraunt,in fact we walked to the restaraunt and as we walked back it was snowing,it was the perfect ending to a wonderful weekend. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we booked our trip for next month before we checked out,see you on March 1 & 2 Glenn.
"Beware of Rude Hosts and Scam"
01/25/14 Karen C Newton, Massachusetts
The inn was okay. Not great, not terrible, but the service was horrible. There were small nuisances, like to sign in the room that mentions hors deauvres nightly between 5 - 7, yet nothing to be seen. Also, the inconsistent heat. But the biggest problem was the rude hosts and the scam they have set up with their "special discounts." We booked our stay as part of a special discount described on their website - book within 24 hours of arrival, and receive a 10% discount (http://www.glynnhouse.co…). We tried to book it through their website, but it wouldn't take the reservation, stating that it could not book same day (even though that is the nature of the special) so we booked through expedia. The inn would not honor the discount, even though it states nowhere that it must be booked through them directly. The worst part is they were extremely rude to us when we just asked about the discount, raising their voice and, indicating we should have called to book it (even though nowhere does it state that), and literally insulting us. My wife cried on the way home because the whole scene was so disturbing...nice way to end a getaway. Rude hosts. I've disputed the charge with my credit card company. For a mediocre place, not worth dealing with their scam. Worst customer service ever. Beware of their surprise charges on your credit card.
"Wonderful innkeepers, delicious food, beautiful house, one of a kind stay!"
01/20/14 MusicNotNoise Carver, Massachusetts
This was our first B & B stay, and we are so happy we chose this place to stay at for our weekend vacation. The innkeepers are not only knowledgeable of the area, but they are incredibly friendly and have stories and experiences to keep you entertained for hours. Each morning, there is coffee and tea outside your door, incredible homemade food for breakfast, wonderful suggestions for activities during the day, wine and snacks in the evening, but also no pressure to partake. If you want a quiet romantic stay, you can have that. If you want to visit and talk and meet people, you can have that as well. We are so glad we stayed here. This was the perfect place for our relaxing weekend getaway, and we 100% recommend to anyone. Service and kindness you won find anywhere else. Enjoy the breakfast pastries!
