"Quaint, peaceful stay"
Great B&B!! Proprietor Jimmy was super helpful. He knew every place in town, down to the price of the crab cakes at each restaurant. Lots of free amenities ... beach cruiser bikes, beach towels, beach passes. Breakfast was delicious and each night they set out homemade sweets - a nice treat after a day out on the town. We stayed one night over the Memorial Day weekend. Jim and Lenanne are exceptional hosts. They made us feel at home. The breakfast is fantastic. The pancakes were made from scratch. Jim also provided advice on the restaurants in the area as this was our first trip to Cape May. We loved it so much we are going again in July. We highly recomend the Albert […] Stevens Inn. "Comfy & Cozy"
This was our first stay at the Albert Sevens Inn. Our stay was made so pleasant by the attention and interest f the owners, Jimmy and Lenanne, who made certain that all our needs were met, recommended interesting things to do and where to dine. All of his suggestions were really great and we will certainly come back. We also met several couples who […] have been retuning there for 8 - 10 years. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Recently spent a 5 day weekend get-away here. Very nice place to stay. Rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast is super good and filling. Jim and his staff are very nice and accommodating. I like that Jim provides beach chairs and bicycles. That's a nice touch. We enjoyed going to the beach (free!) near the lighthouse rather than the city beach. It wasn't crowded. But, you will need to drive or we rode bicycles one day. Easy to get to from the Albert Stevens. A wonderful stay!
"Everything was perfect"

The location of the Inn is perfect, about a 5 minute walk to the beach and about a 3 minute walk to Washington Street Mall. Jim was an amazing host and was very welcoming. I booked the stay last minute and expected a normal bed and breakfast, just another average place to stay but we were pleasantly surprised that the Inn provided bikes, beach chairs, towels, and beach passes. We were very well set up for a great beach weekend. After speaking to Jim and becoming well informed about the location of the beach, shopping, the best restaurants, and all the accommodations that the Inn provided, my boyfriend joked that he felt like royalty staying at this place. The room was very clean but still had an antique feel that we really enjoyed. When we got back from the beach, there was iced tea, lemonade, cookies, and other refreshments sitting in the living room available for us. Jim recommended a restaurant, showed us the menu, and even called to make a reservation for us. Everything was perfect and we couldn't have imagined a better place to stay. We will definitely be coming back to this Inn next time we're in Cape May.
"Excellent place to stay!"

We just returned from a long weekend at the Albert stevens inn. It was a wonderful place to stay! Extremely clean, beautiful decor, with delicious gourmet breakfasts that will fill you up until dinner time. The Inn is walking distance to everything...the beach, shops, restaurants, and shopping. We dined at 3 places, all within a half mile walk. Jim helps with reservations and anything you might need. Several restaurants are byob, and there is a liquor store across the street to grab a bottle of wine on your way to dinner. There is a cvs on the corner, so if you forget anything, you can pick it up there. The bikes and backpack beach chairs Jim gives you are very nice and comfortable. Cape may is wonderful biking...we rode every morning before breakfast. You can bike to the beach for the day; however we chose to take a cooler and umbrella, so dropped it off by car and one of us would take the car back to the house and ride back on the bike. The beach is right down the street. In the afternoon, Jim has sangria and snacks in the dining room, which was great. We will not look for another place to stay other than this inn which we now hope to visit yearly. We stayed in a suite (I think it was room 9) that had a daybed and king and was perfect for my husband and I and our teenage daughter who was with us after a college visit in Philly.
"Another fabululous vacation at the Albert Stevens Inn!!"

We have been coming to the Inn for over 10 years and it still amazes me that our visits keep getting better each year! Jim and Lenanne are wonderful hosts and take great pride in their home and treat all guests as family. The accommodations are warm and beautiful and the breakfasts and tea time snacks are delicious. Lenanne is a fantastic cook/baker serving beautiful 3 course breakfasts each morning. Jim goes out of his way to make sure everyone is comfortable and helps with making dinner reservations as well. We have stayed in many places in Cape May throughout the years and non of them compare with this Inn. We come to the Inn numerous times a year and always leave sad that the vacation is over. Until next trip....
"Last minute getaway - Albert Stevens saves the day!"
08/10/14 James W North Wales, Pennsylvania
My wife and I booked a stay at the Albert Stevens Inn for a last minute getaway. We are very familiar with Cape May but have never stayed in this section of town. The Inn is lovely and well appointed. You can tell it has a long history with the old photographs of the original owners hanging about. We were warmly greeted by innkeeper Jimmy and were given the best room introduction ever! The "Golden Bud" room was spacious and comfortable. My only complaint was the window air conditioner was a bit noisy. Jimmy was incredible with his ability to remember the names of his guests. He had many suggestions on dining, shopping, wineries to visit, etc. We enjoyed the delicious breakfasts and afternoon refreshments. We will definitely return here for a longer visit and highly recommend the Albert Stevens Inn.
"Best B&B in Cape May"
08/09/14 Paul C Smithtown, New York
My wife Diane and I have been coming to Cape May for many years and we have found the best experience to be at the Albert Stevens Inn. We go every year usually in August to celebrate our anniversary? This year we are going back for 4 nights to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Jim and Lenanne are the operators of this special place and let me tell you what makes it so special? First of all it is a charming B&B that has a history that they will be happy to share. It is also not in the extreme heart of Cape May but it is a short stroll and that is actually a great perk. Why? Because during the summer Cape May is very popular and can be very active and busy. The heart of Cape May including other B&B's will have limited parking. Not the case at the Albert Stevens Inn which has ample parking. Also not being in the direct center of town gives a couple a quieter night when it is time to sleep or whatever you are in the mood for? The heart of town tends to be loud at night. Also the hosts Jim and Lenanne make the difference. Breakfast is always exceptional and you have the option of dining with other guests at their dining room tables or if you prefer a more private breakfast with your love, you can do that on their air conditioned porch. The highlite and my favorite is every day at 4 pm when they serve Refreshments! Of course my favorite is their homemade Sangria! After many years of staying there Jim shared his family recipe with me and it has become a tradition in my household. They also put out a beautiful spread of cheeses from a local cheese shop as well as crackers, breads and daily baked cookies! You can enjoy these while sitting on their covered porch with other guests and often times Jim and Lenanne will join us and share their dining or entertainment recommendations while staying there. Jim will also make dinner reservations for you and often times he is able to get you a table at popular and highly rated restaurant. At the Albert Stevens Inn Welove the Tower Suite the most, but all of their rooms have their own unique charm. We can't wait for our next visit which is less than 2 weeks away. Even though we are world travelers we find Cape May and the Albert Stevens Inn one of our most favorite destinations and you will too! Paul and Diane Costantino
"Great weekend getaway"

This was our first visit to the Inn, which is pretty as the picture, lovingly maintained and very well run. Jim is a helpful host, offering restaurant suggestions, making reservations, etc. Didn't see much of his wife, Lenanne, but I think she was busy in the kitchen. Even though it was a fully booked, the house was relatively quiet, and seating at breakfast wasn't crowded, although courses could seem a bit rushed. This was our first time staying in West Cape May, which is off the beaten path, but still within walking distance of the beach, shopping & restaurants. We would definitely like to return, especially off-season.
"The Reason I Go to Cape May"
07/25/14 Susan H West Chester, Pennsylvania
I go to Cape May to stay here. My family is from Ocean City, MD, so my heart is always at the OCMD boardwalk, but I typically go to Cape May instead because the accommodations at the Albert Stevens Inn cannot be matched elsewhere. Jim and Lenanne are fantastic hosts and we look forward to seeing them as much as the downtime that the trip provides. Aside from the breakfast (not to be missed), my favorite thing to do is to hang out on the porch and enjoy the afternoon snacks and refreshments that the hosts have prepared. It's just relaxing. The beach in Cape May is pristine and there are plenty of beach chairs available for guests to use for the day along with bikes and an outdoor shower to wash off the sand when you're done for the day.
"Another Great Stay!"

Another great stay at the Albert Stevens Inn. Jim and Lenane (owners) are so welcoming and provide just about everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible - beach passes, bikes, chairs, towels, etc. Delicious daily breakfast and late afternoon treats always available before heading out for supper. Rooms are immaculate, inviting and very comfortable. The Albert Stevens Inn remains #1 in our books! We'll see you again soon!
"Treats you like family"
07/20/14 Lisa C Swarthmore, Pennsylvania
This was our second visit to this lovely Inn. We had as fabulous a visit this time as we did last year and so enjoyed meeting all the other interesting and fun guests. Lenanne's food is gourmet and always a highlight. What really sets this inn apart from others is the owners. Jim really cares about your time there and wants to make sure it's wonderful--not just while you are in their inn. My son and I had an unfortunate bike accident across town which left me temporarily impaired. When we were asked who should be called, I gave the name of our Inn. Jim immediately drove down in his pick-up truck, gathered our bikes and took us home. It felt so comforting to be taken care of during that time and it reminded me why Jim and his inn are so special. He really cares about people and that comes across in every aspect of one's visit. Thank you, Jim and Lenanne!
