      This was a very nice off season stay heading home from downstate. A little delay checking in due to a rash of phone calls occupying the desk staff but very polite after. Room was good and restaurants nearby.

      Although we arrived very late and left very early, the receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful with both hot and cold food. I wish we had more time to enjoy what the hotel had to offer and would definitely return again.

    My group was traveling with four adults and four babies, so we needed a big space that could accomodate us all and separate rooms for the kids. I... researched a lot of hotels in Mackinaw City, and was very disheartened--it seemed like all of the suite-type hotels got HORRIBLE reviews. Being somewhat of a hotel snob, I couldn't bear the thought of spending a night in a place less than immaculate. The Best Western was super clean, had three separate rooms for us to hang out in (so we didn't have to go to bed when the babies did), and a mini-fridge. The free breakfast was good, even if it was a bit of a hike from our building. The ferry to Mackinac was also very close. I would stay there again for sure.     Staff was friendly and effective. Room was large, clean and comfortable. This complex had several buildings and we had to walk outside to get to the office and breakfast room. Fortunately the weather was pleasant. Would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

    Will definitely stay again next time we are in the area. Wonderful outdoor pool and whirlpool. Fire pit and marshmallows down by the lake with plenty of chairs to visit with other guests. Nice room, comfortable beds, helpful and friendly employees. Good breakfast in the morning.

    We loved out stay, we had a great view of the lake and saw the sunrise every morning. The breakfast buffet was great. The staff was friendly and accomodating. Only wish we stayed a few more days. We definately stay again.

    When we saw our room we couldn't believe it. The room seemed like it should be worth at least twice the amount we paid. It was lovely, with a beautiful view of the lake and Mackinac Island right across from us. I took a nap listening to the waves lapping the shore just beyond the sliding doors leading to our patio.     Had not idea what to expect...travel quite a bit and stay in four star hotels. We were not disappointed. Overall a great deal, location, amenities, area....not one complaint. Perfect for families. Breakfast is high quality - totally not expected. They do a great job here. I can see why they were full.

    We were late in making our travel plans for Labor Day weekend, but lucked out in finding accommodations at the Best Western Harbour Pointe in St. Ignace. Very clean, comfy, quiet, great view of sunrise on the lake. Great location and discounts offered on Mackinac Island ferry fares, carriage tours, etc. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommend!
