Felt unsafe. Very image impacting. Will like to forget i ever stayed in such a place. the kids were very disappointed. Will not pass as A days in at Dayton, Ohio. My guess is location location location.

You really get what you pay for at this location. Poor service from manager who couldn't have been more rude. Very dirty rooms, internet access was not available most of the time and I won't stay there again.

It was a place to sleep but the conditon of the hotel was out dated. Older TV that humed, walls that were pacthed, shower curtian was loose from the wall, carpet had spots. Just was in need of some remodeling.

The room was well used....(old). I kept my shoes on while walking around the unit. The door to the unit was very dirty. Probably from the construction in the area and general poor maintenance. The TV had a humming sound on many of the stations. The breakfast was ok. The price for the room was outragous compared to other places I have stayed.

In all of our travels I find that this motel needs to make major changes or close down. Actually tear it down and start over with a 21st century facility. The negativities are to numerous to list . From dirty, noisey, equipment that didn't work and other out dated facilities . It is for sure we will not stay there again but will not recommend any one […] else to stay at that motel. I was surprised to find how cramped the reception area is. The entrance and the reception desk are right on top of each other. We had to go to the store to buy some air freshener because our room smelled awful, and we had a non-smoking room. We had a room with 2 double beds, so one might expect to have 4 bath towels, but we only had 2. I was very uncomfortable. There were other guests that where sitting outside their rooms while drinking and smoking. They where rather loud and creepy. The room had a very damp feeling. The carpet was sticky all over. I didn't use the shower because it looked very unsanitary. The location and price was good. However, I would not stay there again.

We have a storm Saturday night and the rain pounded on my door and leaked into the room under the door. There was about a 4' wet spot on the carpet when I got up. Reported to desk. Do not believe I will be staying at the Motel again on my visits to Terre Haute.

HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE I HAVE STAY IN DAYS INN and had a great experience. The hotel is outdated and they need HOTEL IMPOSSIBLE to help clean up. The room was "clean" but quite rundown and shabby, and the carpet was disgusting. Our standards aren't all that high, but the carpet really was awful. We also happened to arrive in town the same weekend as some kind of diesel truck convention, so every single room was full of groups of 20-somethings driving huge trucks and piles of empty beer cases […] and cigarettes in the outdoor trash cans, complete with guests pounding on doors at 3am. We paid ENTIRELY too much for this room because of the convention taking up rooms in the area. The attendant when we checked in handed us room keys with the wrong room written on the holder, making me nervous about our security. Overall, we slept, we were safe, and we left...which is really the baseline of what we needed but we certainly weren't happy about this hotel. Read more

It was dirty, smelly and just a downright dump. The breakfast was the same all three days that we stayed. The best part was the location, being within 5 minutes of everything, I guess we couldn't complain on that one.

The people in the room next to us were screaming and yelling at each other for a good portion of the evening. They were slamming doors. We arrived at 4pm and had to sit in the our car in the parking lot for approximately 15 minutes because our room was not ready. They were still cleaning from the person the night before. The room was dirty -even dirty kleenex next to the bed & night stand. The Air conditioner was so dirty we were unable to use it because both of us just sneezed and coughed until we turned it off. The mattresses were so hard and lumped it felt like I was sleeping on a box springs only. However, the people who worked there were very friendly.

I spent three days here and found my room shabby and old but extrememly clean. The stairs were a bit off level and the room next to me had those loud and easily excitable small dogs. The neighborhood is commercial on one side with random houses around. My view was of an old heavy equipment company's abandoned yard.The road was under heavy construction […] with more barrels than signs. I admit that as a single woman I did lock the door along with other safety measures.This certainly isnt the ritz carlton but for what I paid I was very happy. My room was spotless...not even a dust bunny hiding under the bed. Housekeeping was responsive and quick with requests. Otherwise the staff was friendly and helpful. There was even a group of crows outside each morning to greet me...this freaked out the front desk guy for some reason. I would stay again. Read more

We stayed at the Days Inn Terre Haute while we were in Indianapolis for the Super Bowl. Our expectations were not high, given the hotels rating, and I exclude the fact that we had to stay in a smokers room (no non-smoking suites left). We didn't have much interaction with the hotel employees, so the rating for that was middle of the road. The pull-out […] couch in the suite was broke, thus couldn't be used, and although the hotel provided a cot, it seemed unsteady and sagged on one side. Beds were ok I guess. There was a large burn hole in the rug between the beds. The only thing the breakfast had going for it was that there was coffee. You could hear everything outside the room (including trucks, etc.) The walls were paper thin and we could hear everything that went on in the room next to us. I would NOT stay here again. Read more

Only stayed at this hotel because of lack of rooms in Indy. Old, worn out place that was uncomfortable and noisy. Staff was rude and not helpful with questions or very accomodating with supplying extra towels. Would not stay here again under any circumstances.

Got this room when there was a snow storm and my husband was passing through on the way to MI. The room was very drab and needed a good deep cleaning. He could not sleep because the bed and sheets smelled so dirty!!!! We have stayed at the Drury, Pear Tree, Spring Hill and Holiday Inn in Terre Haute and we will NEVER stay at this hotel again!!!!
