Hilton Garden Inn Madison West/Middleton

Great location, great service. Clean, comfortable rooms. There is plenty of shopping/restaurants right by the hotel and downtown is only 10 minutes away. I've stayed at hotels that cost twice as much and not been as happy with the service and quality. Will be staying here again on my next trip to Madison.

Splash pool made the trip from Chicago for a weekender for our kids. Super clean hotel. Did have a very loud wedding reception but that wasn't the hotels fault. Great location to downtown Middleton as well as quick trip into Madison. Will be back no doubt.

I've stayed in a lot of hotels. My old job had me staying in everything from Four Seasons to No-Tell Motels. I have to say, this place was one of the cleanest, well-run, well-maintained hotels, to which I've been. I was in town for a bike race and they accommodated my bike storage needs without flinching. The staff were friendly and competent. I felt […] I could have performed surgery in the room, it was so clean and dust-free. Outlets and lights were located in convenient spots. The bathroom, again, super clean and filled with fluffy towels. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioning worked. They gave me free coffee and fresh fruit when I left. All in all, awesome. The hotel is in a great location, many resturants and lots of shopping; in a new area. Easy access from the expressway. The only complaint we had is the bed (queen) seemed like a double and was very 'lumpy'...overall, enjoyable stay.

My husband, 2 young kids, & I stayed here for two nights. It was AWESOME. The rooms were pretty normal, clean, and overall comfy (tho the beds aren't as nice as Marriotts). The best part was the pool - the best I've ever had at a regular hotel. It had zero-entry for our 1-year-old, slides, waterfall umbrella, etc., - including noodles and all kinds […] of balls just there to use! The temperature was comfortable, and the hot tub was clean and actually hot! The front desk personnel were outstanding!! Once when I was waiting in the lobby w/my 2 kids, she brought out a cute little teddy bear for each of them. She also showed me a basket of games/toys avail. in the lobby for anyone to use. (They were also really great about giving me a bunch of tampons when I got surprised by an early visitor!:) I was not so excited about having to pay for breakfast - I like getting it free - but it was totally worth it, and kids eat free! So for $20, we got an all-you-can-eat buffet of everything you could imagine, as well as a made-to-order section where you could choose between several tasty options (omelets w/about 10 topping choices, belgian waffles with their hotel logo imprinted in the middle, eggs, french toast, bacon, potatoes, etc., etc.). They even had what I'm 95% sure were Krispy Kreme donuts!! Mmm....delicious! I'm usually quite particular and analytical - this is a great hotel with service to match. My husband and I stayed at the Hilton Garden Hotel in Middleton as it was is very close proximity to the start/finish of a 1/2 marathon we ran and we wanted to be able to walk to the start/finish. It was very conveniently located for what we needed it for. We did not partake in the breakfast, but I was surprised to find out that they didn't have a complementary […] breakfast included with stay - you actually had to pay additional for this. Since so many other hotels offer this, I was a bit surprised. Our room was very comfortable, plenty big for the two of us. It seemed very clean. The staff were very friendly. Check in was very easy and we needed a late checkout, which was no problem at all. Overall, I would probably stay again if back in that area - although there are a lot of other hotels right in that area and if one offered complementary breakfast I might stay there over this one. This hotel was just a little off campus but with construction, it was a little bit of a drive. Other than the road work, it was just far enough off of campus to not have the nightly noise of college kids partying. The quality of the hotel was great, it seemed farily new and it was extremely clean.

My college-aged daughter and I took a quick weekend getaway to Madison before school started. The hotel was great. We liked the breakfast; it's worth every penny of the 9.95 it costs. My only complaint would be that the room was a bit small and awkwardly laid out, but the bed was comfy and the bathroom was clean and pretty nice.

Have been in much nicer whirlpools. It was an anniversary and we wanted to share it, we could barely both fit in it, it was just a tub, not what I would consider much of a whirlpool. That was disappointing. All in all it was a nice suite.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and a very comfortable bed, matched by a great location right next to a new shopping area with bars, restaurants, stylish shops...the ideal hotel for me as a business traveller - but ideal for couples and families too!
