Loved that there was no minimum stay! We had a great last minute weekend trip to Aspen. Place was warm, clean, great kitchen, hot tub, and ski -in, ski-out! All at a reasonable price during a holiday weekend in Aspen.

Ski in & ski out condo Location : 100 meters from nearest Mall and restaurants and 30 feet from ski slopes. Amenities are very adequate but not luxurious, the construction of the building was in the 1960-ies or early 70-ties. The most annoying thing was the interior of the the building, stairways and room numbers were illogical and confusing.

This was an excellent hotel. I was here for 4 days and it was a great stay. From start to finish, they catered to all my needs and even let me check out late at 11 am. Very close to the snowmass village (2 minute walk). Fantastic hot tubs in the back with open view of the stars at night. I will definitely recommend this resort to all my family and friends. […] Helpful tip: always book early in September/October so you get the best rate for ski vacations. We had a wonderful overnight at Laurelwood and were delighted with our experience. The room was comfortable and clean, the kitchen well stocked, and the hot tub was perfect! This place was very good. The staff was very helpful and the room was comfortable and clean and had a great view of the valley. In the summer it's pretty far away from everything but in the winter it's very close to the ski lifts.

This condo hotel was a pleasant surprise. The rate for our stay was extremely reasonable, given the pricey options in town (rates vary throughout the season, of course). Moreover, the room was extremely confortable. Although a bit dated, we loved the ski-lodge feel of this property. The room is well designed and provides privacy and comfort; all rooms […] have decks that provide vistas of different parts of the mountain. We found the bed in our room a little too firm, but that is a personal preference. The studio rooms come with a full kitchen and ample living area. The ski lifts, gear rental stores, and bars and restaurants are a two minute walk from your door. Two restaurants that we thoroughly enjoyed were Il Pogio and Venga Venga. I will return to this propery for future visits and I will strongly recommend it to other friends and family members. Read more

I arrived to find a room in really bad shape. The furniture was dated and the bed sheets full of hair. However, I notified the front desk and they readily and apologetically moved me to a different room. I was moved to clean, upkept, and pleasant room. There is no pool nor exercise room. This studio condo was very well kept and a great value for the money. My friend stayed down the hill at the Stonebridge hotel, paid 2X the money, and weren't satisfied. This place was quiet, offered a lot, and was close to the mall. The hottub was not working when we were there but looked very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

These studio rooms are individually owned so they are nice. We were there in the summer so the rates were reduced because it was not ski season. I was disappointed when we were told that the hot pools were broken but when we looked at them it appeared that they were just not opened! This is reflected in my ratings. We had a wonderful view looking up the mountain where we sat out on the balcony and enjoyed the beauty of Snowmass. It was nice to have a kitchen with refrigerator to keep food for breakfast and lunch. The room was clean and cozy.

The greeters at the reception desk were a little unpleasant. The room was large enough for about 4 people. The room was very dated but fine. When we were checking out (early--6:40 am) there was no please to leave the keys. NO drop box, no instructions, nothing. That was uncomfortable for us.

Laurelwood is a well-kept building of condominiums on the upper slope of Snowmass Village. The mall is only about 100 yards down the hill, offering several casual restaurants with good food and INCREDIBLE views. Very close to the gondola. I'm sure it's impossible to do this in the winter, but I managed to book a room the day before at a steal of a price. Because I was able to do this, I immediately lowered my expectations on the quality of the property, but was tremendously surprised when I arrived. Very friendly desk staff, extremely well kept and updated property both inside and out. […] The fact that the units are owned adds to the "homey" feel, not to mention having a large balcony, full kitchen (beautiful!) and rustic, ski chalet charm from the furniture to the fireplace. Close walk to restaurants at the mall area as well as lift access in the winter. My only problem was that is WASN'T winter and we had a hard time keeping the room cool and ventilated at night. Probably could use a new mattress too - sagged a bit in the middle and caused us to gravitate towards the middle. Outdoor, in-ground hot tubs were fantastic, not to mention the well manicured landscaping and trees to provide some privacy. Would love to have a unit here for a week in the winter!! I was amazed that the standard room was an apartment, came with a full kitchen including Bosch dishwasher (not that we were going to cook away in the kitchen, but could be very nice for a whole week getaway).
