The room was great, altho the TV could've been better. I kept forgetting to report to front desk. We had a pet, and the pet fee was pretty steep @ $35. Was supposed to be each night, but was changed to entire stay Nvo. 1 (we ended up staying an addl. night). They were nice enough to only charge the fee once. I was very happy with the entire experience. It was short and sweet. Only wish we waited until this weekend as the weather is to be sunny and in the 80's. Our weekend was only partly sunny and cold in the 60's. We couldn't swim in the ocean with our dog "Ruff". But, she did like the ocean and the beach. We stayed here for one night during the Delmarva Bike Week. The hotel was very comfortable. The breakfast included scrambled eggs and sausage which was a nice addition to the free breakfast choices.

This hotel has a 72-hour cancellation policy. With the business in the surrounding area I find this policy out of line. Our situation changed and instead of needing two rooms we only needed one. Pet Friendly!, well kept!, I made arrangements with another hotel that said they were pet friendly but the place was a mess. I know I have pets (two Pom's) but they have a nice clean place at home so why not when they are away on vacation with us. I know they are dogs but they are well groomed and clean. This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The first room they gave us had not been cleaned. We found opened packages of tacos and candy in the closet. The sheets looked like they had not been changed and there were stains on the comforters. The second room they brought us too was not any better. The sheets in this room had hair on them […] and the floor was not vacuumed. The wash clothes in the bathroom were used and there was a used bar of soap left in the soap dish. The hotel was nicely situated not far from the ocean city boardwalk, but not right on the beach/boardwalk. It had a nice pool that the kids loved. Unfortunately, the pool closed at 8 pm which was early for us. We also had to vacate the pool for maintenance which was annoying. I asked specifically if the hotel was close to beach and hotels.com said it was 5 min walk to beach .no it was not ,it was 5-10 min drive which really made it very difficult.i would not of booked it if it was that far away from walking distance.otherwise the hotel and service was great!

I was very pleased with the hotel, it was fairly new and very clean. The room was larger than I expected too. The coffee was good and although breakfast wasn't supposed to be included it was. More than I expected. Great chocolate chip cookies in the lobby and a very good breakfast. Make your own waffles, scrambled eggs, sauage... really good on Saturday, but not as good on Sunday. Kaitlyn at the front desk was great! She was very courteous, efficient and friendly. The hotel was a nice 5 minute drive from the beach, very clean, nice gym facility. Our key card didn't work the three days we were there, meaning that we had to go back to the front desk each time we wanted to get in our room. Sheet on sofa bed was dirty, our tub was left dirty on the same day our dirty towels were left in our room. Makes me wonder if they did anything but make the beds. We were told that bus transportation was across […] a two lane highway to find out it was a busy four lane highway with a median. Restaurants were in walking distance along with a local bar. Outlet mall was across the street. The surrounding buildings on each side of the hotel was run down. I don't think this hotel was worth the money we spent. Upon check-in, the woman checking in was quite sarcastic! What a way to begin a stay....then I find out that our (2) rooms that were book at the same time on the same booking were on entirely separate floors at total opposite ends of the building----and we were put in a previously rented "dog" room---yes, this hotel rents to dogs---only on the 1st floor--as […] sarcastically stated by the woman who checked us in---she of coursed blamed the room mix up on Expedia stating that Expedia didn't tell them we were traveling together---helllloooo---the (2) rooms were book together at the same time---the staff was atrocious!! The woman cleaning up the "breakfast area" actually emptied the pancake batter as I watched a gentleman trying to make breakfast for his (2) small sons---it was a minute prior to the official closing of "breakfast"---he was annoyed and as his sons bellowed---he quickly offered them cereal instead---it was heartbreaking to watch....don't stay here---these people are sarcastic and cruel!!!
