This hotel has a lot of potential but is in need of cleaning and repair. The staff is ok but nothing extraordinary. The room was spacious but the entry handle was very difficult to use. Our toilet seat was broken and we had to beg the maintenance man to get it replaced. The carpet is so dirty it left our feet black in a matter of 30 mins. The grounds […] need cleaning and TLC. I stayed two nights at this Travelodge. The room on the ground floor, and it was big and clean, with free wifi, a fridge, microwave, etc. looking onto a patio area. The beds were super comfortable, really enjoyable. Nothing fancy but good for the price I got with Hotels.com. Only negative is that early in the morning we could hear people walking above […] us, the soundinsulation is really terrible, and the plumbing is also quite noisy. Sound sleepers didn't care, but as a light sleeper, I was a bit bothered. Still, these kinds of places are usually noisy and maybe we could have moved to another part of the hotel (it's quite big) that would have been quieter, I'm not sure. Didn't check out the breakfast (it ends much too early in my opinion at 9.30 am) and didn't get the chance to check out the pool either (too windy). All in all an adequate place to stay for a couple of nights a dozen miles from Joshua Tree Park. Read more

This hotel is very old and tied. The bathroom backed up. Spreading raw surage over the bathrom floor. When staff were told they didn't act suprised, as if it often happens. now dicount was offered after the even.

Room was clean but the bathroom was cleaned with bleach and the smell was strong. The beds were comfortable and the shower good. The pool area seems nice but it was too cold outside for us to enjoy. It is a convenient location and reasonable value for the price. The breakfast is limited but coffee is provided in the room.

The room was quiet and spacious for a single room setup. The balcony in my 2nd floor room was a plus. The advertised breakfast was one of the worst I have seen in motels, as far as the selection is concerned. There is a restaurant in the same location too, but I did not try it.

We were a little apprehensive about the quality of the accommodation as we were unfamiliar with Travelodge and normally book accommodation in the moderate range. However, we were very pleasantly surprised - the check-in staff was friendly and welcoming, and although the inn was older, it was clean, our room was enormous, we could park right outside […] the room and it was easy to find just off the main thoroughfare. There was a nice pool and spa (although we didn't use it). We asked about dinner recommendations and they mentioned an independent Japanese restaurant on-site or a couple of Mexican restaurants close by. The man at check in was completely rude, the room smelled of excessive carpet powder (hard to breath), used wash cloth in the tub and the carpet/floor was dirty & sticky! My white socks were black after walking around the outdated room. Would never recommend anyone to stay there.

We booked this room thinking it was close to the entrance of JTNP. This hotel is about a 15-20 minute drive from the main gate to the park depending on traffic. Looking at their map we thought it was much closer. The hotel is very old, probably from the 70's. The carpets are filthy looking with multiple stains, I never put my bare feet on them. We were checking out Joshua Tree on our way back to Arizona, and this was the best priced median hotel in the area. It's fine for an overnight stay. This is an older property which has been somewhat re-done. I have a couple of complaints with regard to the cleanliness. The carpet was filthy. I mean turn your socks brown filthy.The hot tub was waaaayyyy […] over-chlorinated. I could've bleached my dirty socks in it. The bathroom could've been cleaner, but it wasn't terrible. Again, this is an older property that has seen some wear and tear. Overall, it was fine for an overnight stop and staff was very friendly. didn't have breakfast (try the Ma rouge cafe in town, it's great) If I ever have to stay in this area again I'd book here. We stayed here for 1 night for tennis tournament in Indian wells. The location of hotel is nice, the condition is also good. We liked the beds and had a nice sleep. The breakfast is bare minimum.

The room was big and clean with a nice balcony. We got in late and left early to go to Joshua Tree National Park. Didn't even see the pool and hot tub. As others mentioned, the breakfast wasn't much and the room is small. We were lucky that we got a table (only two) as there was some cereal left with milk. Coffee was gone and other breakfast items also. […] I assumed they put out a certain amount and when it is gone, it is gone! Many other guests were also left out. Overall a decent stay . The suites are very spacious if they would update it would be a great stay. We went to BNP Paribas and of course everything was book so this was an alternate its about 40 miles we consider an easy drive . They offer complimentary breakfast but by 9 it was a bagel or 2 left so we didn't stay for that.

I have stayed in many hotels in my life. I had a 6 night reservation at Travel Lodge. The conference I was attending was winding down early, and I asked at 8pm the night before my last night, to cancel my last night of the reservation. The head manager, Vijay, stated that by contract I needed to give 24 hours. It was a 20 hour notice. In all my life […] I have NEVER had a hotel deny. I was livid. In the morning I called Hotel.com and they confirmed and the call center said that this denial was extremely rare. For a 3 star hotel service was a 1 star. Toilet would not flush and sink would not drain. Call for help and walk to office merited NO RESPONSE. Office was locked and no one answered night bell. Answering machine picked up on front desk call. In the morning we were told no manager was in and they didn't know how to listen to messages on machine.
