ALL staff is very polite and helpfull. They will go out of there way to assist you with any of your needs. I would recomend the Clarion to everyone. On the down side they have renovations going on and restaurant is closed and the front desk is a short distance to the elevators. Stop in and say "HI" the staff will greet you with a smile. I have been here the last 7 weekends and VERY HAPPY...

Conveniently near the airport in Windsor, Hampton Inn Hartford Airport is close to New England Air Museum. Additional area attractions include Connecticut Trolley Museum and Connecticut Fire Museum.

"Firm Mattresses"
Customer service was excellent. Breakfast was great. The pool and hot tub was large and convienent. It was nice to have vending machines on every floor but the beds were very uncomfortable. If u like a firm mattress this is the place to stay but not if u have back problems that require a softer mattress. I had to leave early because I couldn't sleep […] well due to the mattresses. The room was booked through hotels.com and they boasted 1 king or 2 queen beds. When we arrived, the front desk told us they only have king beds and double beds, no queens. Hard to sleep 4 people in 2 queens, so they switched us to 1 king and a pull out couch. Fabulous. The staff went far beyond the call of duty. Picked us up at car rental and brought us back to the hotel, offered to drive us to restaurant for dinner then come back to bring us back to the hotel when finished, drove us to the airort the next morning after a wonderful hot buffet breakfast. "Good Cookies!"
The place was all around nice. Comfy beds and my special requests had been taken care of. The woman at the front desk kept making delicious cookies. I couldn't help myself and had three! LOL!

"Close to airport - friendly staff"
Stop over for business. This hotel met my requirements for business travel - free internet in my room, as well as a business center. Staff stored my leftovers, and there was a microwave in the lobby to re-heat. The whirlpool spa was a lifesaver after a long day. Was looking for nice place with pool and whirlpool and breakfast in the area. We enjoyed our room, the hotel, the pool/whirlpool, the breakfast buffet and would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was great. Room was clean and comfortable, pool and spa were wonderful. Front desk employees very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good too. No complaints about the hotel but there is nothing to do around there. We would definitely stay there again because of the cleanliness and service.

Only issue this time is that there was a heat wave on and people with children booked the hotel for it's pool. The children in the next room were racing up and down the hallway loudly at 6 a.m. and when I went to breakfast at 7, all of the food was gone except for sausage. Have stayed here twice now and have been pleased both times. Great price, clean & very friendly, helpful staff and a nice breakfast too! Kids enjoyed the pool while we enjoyed the jacuzzi.

We have stayed at this hotel before, and will do so again. The Handicap Room so very good. Bed was very comfortable. Service is very helpful. Breakfast very good. Shuttle to airport is fantastic, had to get up at 4:30 to get to airport...Driver was right there, did not have to wait. Keep up the good service.

The room had almost everything we needed - a 32' flat TV, microwave, a mini fridge, and even a couch (sofa bed) in addition to the desk/chair. Hot breakfast was offered by 10am, and it was very tasty; I liked the waffle and the cheese omelet :-)

Very nice hotel, and excellent staff. Shuttle was very quick to pick us up upon our late arrival at the airport. Room was very clean and nicely appointed. Breakfast was great and check-out was a breeze. Highly recommend.
"Great Stay"
Staying in the area for Christmas holiday and found this to be the perfect alternative to staying with family on a pullout couch. Rooms were comfortable and well maintained, the water pressure made showers a delight, and the breakfasts were great. I especially appreciated the wi-fi so we could coordinate with family via email messages. Thank you!

"Comfortable Stay"
Well, it could be just another airport hotel that shuttles you there in time for your flight but, in this case, I found my stay a little more comfortable than usual. Restaurants in this area are few and far in between and being you're always in a hurry you have to live with the 'Continental Breakfast'. I will say that this was one of the better breakfasts […] to be had. Their Western Omlettes were unbelievably good! While they do have the usual items it's always nice to find something more. So, the omlette with ham was well appreciated. Add this to the very comfortable room with the nice wide screen tv and a decent amount of tv stations there really was nothing more that I could ask for in a quick, over-night, off-to-the-airport hotel. We were in town for a music festival, and we chosed this partiular hotel for the name, price and close proximity to the venue for the show.
