"A little weird but nice"
We stayed for three nights. The house itself was a lovely old Victorian that's fallen into a bit of disrepair--cracked and bowed stainglass, for example. The room was a bit dirty, particularly the hot tub (something you definitely want to be clean). Breakfast, while tasty, is only served at 9:00 AM, meaning we had to skip it twice in order to get a […] head start. Stay away from the proprietor's wine store in town--crass and simply not good wine. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Wonderful...Celeste is delightful. Only disappointment was the quality of the breakfast. B&B's we have stayed in before had memorable breakfasts...not the case here.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Beautiful Quiet B&B"
I loved this B&B, it was very quiet and well appointed. I stayed in the Puccini Suite, which I believe is the smallest suite, it was perfect for me and my guest. Parking was easy and access to everything is good, especially to downtown Napa.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Our stay at the McClelland Priest B&B was a real treat! The Inn and our room was beautifully decorated and very welcoming. The tastings of the Ahnfeldt Wines, at Uncorked in the Oxbow Market area, was great and the complimentary bottle of wine was a delight. We would highly reccomend staying here!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location, Charming"
Loved the B&B. I love old stuff and Victorian style so that's why I chose it. The owner was very friendly and knew me by name. Breakfast was a bit late but I can understand with a bunch of wine drinkers and possibly some hangovers why it might start at 9, but it would be nice to get going a little earlier. Seated Breakfast service was a bit slow so […] be prepared to be at breakfast from at least 9-9:45. Food was great. I would highly recommend this place. Location, AMAZING. Very charming and romantic. Loved the 12 foot ceilings. Old World charm. Felt like I would be better suited to the Victorian Era after staying there. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"A great place!"
This was an excellent place to stay! Great location. One of the best perks to staying here is that they give vouchers for reduced or free tastings at several of the wineries.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We decided to stay at this B&B to celebrate our anniversary and we're not disappointed in our selection. The entire house was exquisite lay furnished. The rooms are large. Our room had a whirlpool bath tub set in a bay window. The bathroom had a shower. Breakfast was served in the dining room and was ample, tasteful, and healthy. The hosts were on sight […] and offered sightseeing, restaurant, and winery suggestions which were very helpful in making our anniversary celebration a success. "Great B&B near Downtown Napa"
My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary. This was a great B&B from the time we got there to the time we left. We arrived to find our package with complimentary tastings and maps of Napa. The breakfast was outstanding, and the room was very comfortable. Downtown Napa was only a couple minutes away on foot. The only issue I had was the neighborhood, […] can be a little rough at night but very safe besides that. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Lovely Victorian close to the downtown restaurants"
Lovely, clean rooms offer a true Victorian experience...and remind you why you don’t actually live in one of these beautiful old houses. While the food was delicious and the staff very welcoming, breakfast is only offered in one serving at 9:00 a.m. (which was late for us, but may suit others), there’s no TV, and the climate control is inadequate. No […] front desk, so very often there is no staff in the hotel, although the owner’s make every effort to foresee their guests needs and questions. The walks through the old neighborhoods are lovely and quaint and the hotel is located within walking distance of the riverfront shops and restaurants and the oxbow area. "Great place to stay in Napa"
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at McClelland-Priest B&B. It is a very convenient base for a visit to Napa Valley wineries, walking distance to downtown Napa restaurants. The innkeeper, Celeste, is very health-conscious and great to talk with about the history of the house, the wineries and places to run or ride. The breakfasts were fantastic. My Sweetie […] and I brought our bikes and rode the Mt. Veeder - Dry Creek route. The inn has a place to lock up your bikes, so if you ride, I recommend bringing them. "Great hotel next to downtown!"
We had a beautiful room downstairs and never heard anyone upstairs even though the place was completely rented out. It was very comfortable, food was fantastic, and the location was great. After each breakfast, the owners would ask what we were interested in doing that day and offer suggestions that were greatly appreciated. Also, the owner gave us […] her card which we showed to some of the wineries and they gave us discounts or waived the tasting fees. I would definitely stay here again! "Charming and great location in quiet neighborhood"
We enjoyed this lovely B&B as a base for touring Napa. Our room was large and it was so great to have the free tasting at the owners tasting room. She also had some spin bikes which she let us use. Nice for working off the delicious breakfast.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Absolutely fabulous bed and breakfast"
Completely wonderful. The room was divine, the four poster bed was lovely and the sheets were so soft. The jacuzzi was so relaxing. Breakfast was a 3 course meal! Absolutely delicious. My friend is vegetarian and was worried she would just get toast instead of the lovely cooked breakfast everyone else got, but no: She got a baked french toast with cinnamon […] and real maple syrup! Every day we had amazing food. They couple that own the bed and breakfast own Oxbow Uncorked with is in the downtown and you get a free wine tasting and bottle of wine which was so great. They gave us some wonderful recommendations for wineries in the area and restaurants to try. Couldn't have asked for more! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Extra Perk: Owner provides free wine tasting"
PROS:The discounts for wine tastings in the valley, and the free tasting of the owners' own wines, plus a free bottle to take home. CONS: We never saw the owners, whom we would have loved to compliment on their lovely B&B.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great find! Quaint old Victorian house that has been well maintained and is walking distance to downtown Napa. The owners are so nice full of recommendations and easy to talk with. Breakfast was delicious too!Genuine Expedia guest review
Great B&B, Celeste is wonderful along with her staff, breakfast is tremendous. Celeste and her husband are also winemakers, and she is so informative on the wineries in the valley. THANKS CELESTE. Mike & HeatherGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great B&B Experience - no rental car needed!"
We chose this B&B in order to avoid renting a car since it's within easy walking distance of Main Street and all the restaurants and tasting rooms in Napa (we took a shuttle direct from SFO to Napa). We walked to the wine train and did a tour/train combo on Day 1; on Day 2 we visited several vineyards via a classic car with driver we reserved who put […] together an amazing itinerary. We used our free tasting passes which came with our hotel reservation and it was a great way to kick off the trip. We met several interesting people and got a free bottle of wine when we left (we also bought one my BF enjoyed). The breakfasts were wonderful and perfectly timed at 9:15am in my opinion (who needs to start tasting wine before 10am or so??). Coffee and pastries in the living room begin around 8am though. And we met such great other couples! All similar to us (30-40 yrs old, professionals on a romantic getaway, from various major cities). We all chatted easily each day over our morning meals. A pile of sliced fruit drizzled with yogurt followed by an egg casserole of some type. It changed each day but the theme was similar. I could have skipped lunch (though I didn't!). Rooms were huge and comfortable. And the house was much quieter than I expected. Each room was full but we never heard anybody come or go somehow. The only cons are that the hot water takes a few minutes to come on and the shower pressure wasn't the best I'd ever had. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice B&B within walking distance of amenities"
Found this B&B through an open house last year at an annual wine tour in Napa (if you get a chance to do this - do it! It was a great experience!). Loved the Carducci room we stayed in - beautifully appointed, comfy bed, nice warm fireplace (gas), in room coffee maker (loved the convenience) and great jetted tub - spotlessly clean! Didnt get to meet […] the owner until the next day when breakfast was served to all guests (very tasty). Appreciated the envelope of maps and discounts at local wineries. "Very enjoyable lovely stay"
Very nice restored Victorian style B&B. The house had history and a sense of adventure that is hard to match if we had stayed at a conventional modern hotel. My wife loved the experience. There were plenty of locations to take memorable photos.Genuine Expedia guest review
Great location- owner was very helpful with giving suggestions for places to go and things to see. Breakfast was all carbs, fruit with cream and a few sprinkles of granola for garnish, potato frittata with salsa. We had to eat some protein before we went on the road because we were still hungry - glad we packed some almonds!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great breakfasts and close to all places downtown."

"Very Nice Stay in Napa"
I highly recommend this place for a trip to Napa. The B&B is clean and the location is great -- a short walk to everything in downtown Napa. Celeste, who runs the place, made a very nice breakfast and gave us a packet with things to do in Napa. Wonderful place to stay for a night in Napa Valley. Celeste was very accommodating and had great recommendations for wineries to tour. Her business cards saved us a lot of money on tasting fees. "Great Location in Downtown Napa"
Loved the house and location, Owner will give very good recommendations for wineries and dining options. "Great location, great rooms"
This B&B is in a great location, walking distance to downtown Napa shops and restaurants. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious and we really enjoyed our stay. We plan to stay here if we return to Napa. The only complaint we had is breakfast is too late. Breakfast is scheduled for 9:15 which is very late for vacationers who want to get their […] day started. Often we didn't actually eat until 9:30-10:00. We actually skipped breakfast our last day to get on the road at a decent hour. It would be nice if breakfast were available starting at 8:00 or 8:30. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
I absolutely loved this B&B and would highly recommend anyone stay at this location. Centrally located and the owner Celeste is so delightful, making everyone feel like family!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Never saw the owners for the entire 4 day trip. Breakfast was served at 9:15, actually 9:30 and our wine tours started at 10am. We stayed at a B&B and had to eat at Dennys. No big deal but it would of been nice to know before booking. We bought a bottle of wine to drink on the patio but there was nobody working and no cork screw around to open the wine. […] Otherwise the room was clean and the bed was confortable. Location was great, close to downtown Napa. There are a lot of undesirables in the area due to the Salvation Army being next to it and the house across the steet had a bunch of people outside, without shirts, eating pizza and yelling. not a sublime moment for a glass of wine on the patio. We went to their wine bar, John was great and the cab they made was fantastic!!! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

we stayed in the Roma room - it was so quaint. large soaking tub and a fireplace on the opposite side. loved it and will absolutely return!Genuine Expedia guest review
"It was once pretty"
The room was large, but everything is now old, not antique but old and worn from the towels to the curtains. There is a sense of mold and dust, the bathroom was really small. The beddings were worn and pillows flat. They serve you the same breakfast every. Morning and it does not start until 9:30, which means if you would like to get an earlier start […] , you'll not be able to get breakfast.the neighborhood is sketchy, there is a halfway house about a block away in a church and there are always a few unsavory people around. "40th wedding anniversary"
Everything about our stay at the McClelland Priest made out anniversary perfect. The B&B was very clean, close to everything, and Celeste (the owner) was friendly and helpful. Much better than staying at a hotel, the decor was beautiful, vintage, and added a special touch to our first Napa vacation.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Yah that too"
We were in Napa for a Saturday conference and hence used the B&B as a hotel more than B&B. All was lovely on Sunday a.m. when we finally had a chance to relax and enjoy the quiet and quaintness of the Victorian parlor and rose filled grounds.Genuine Expedia guest review
"close to down town"
Well the home is well appointed and well maintained.. The fence could use a coat of paint, minor point. Parking was close and the down town is close well within walking distance. However, there is no television either in the rooms(to be expected) nor in the common area(surprise). There was a lot of national events happening while we were there so we […] had to go to bars to keep up. We thought that there would be coffee in the morning before breakfast, but nada. The breakfast was very good with the bananas and strawberries and yogurt. We had a deck with our room which was nice. Celeste was very informative and enjoyable to talk with. "Great location good value"
The B&B is within walking distance of downtown Napa. It was a great way to get out, sample some nice wines and not worry about having to get back to the hotel. The place had some nice charm, for the most part it was very quiet. The breakfast was average. The only bad part of the hotel was the bed. It really should have been replaced years ago.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Loved the owners"
Here is the quick summary. On the plus side, breakfast was very good. It came in two courses. A yogart and berry course then a breakfast casserole. It was very convenient to town and in the evening they put out a couple of bottles of wine. The owners were charming and very attentive. They arranged comped wine tastings at several places. The downside […] was that the property was worn and they missed the touches you would find in other B&Bs. The place had a worn feel and a slight musky smell.
