"Never tried a B&B before but we loved it!"
We stayed in the Carducci suite. Very comfortable. The fireplace was a nice touch after a day of tasting. A free tasting and bottle of wine from Uncorked comes with the reservation. Very cute place. Location was great. We could walk to restaurants and tasting rooms downtown. If you are also looking for a driver, One Size Ride was great. Chad was our […] driver. "A perfect weekend get-away"
From the moment we arrived, we were treated, not as guests, but as family. A packet of info awaited us with narrowed down recommendations for where to visit, dine and shop. With it's Victorian charm, the McClelland-Priest B & B was homey and friendly. Within walking distance to downtown Napa, we were able to enjoy all of the luxuries of downtown restaraunts […] and wineries and yet be able to walk back home to our quiet residential B & B. The breakfasts were sinfully delicious and a great way to begin our day. Our guest room with a seperate entrance accessed by the quaint white picket fence was adjacent to the main house and gave us both the feeling of privacy and security that we desired. Our room was clean and fully stocked with all amenities of home and hotel combined. A weekend was all we needed, but a week at the McClelland-Prieset B & B would have been heavenly. "We loved this B+B!"
My husband and I stayed here during our summer vacation. What an amazing place, with a fantastic location. Most importantly, it is owned by lovely and extremely welcoming people. We were even invited to be part of a family get-together, we were really touched by this. And p.s. - their wines are wonderful!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Wonderful inn, sweet location, great innkeepers"
We had a great experience at Mcclelland-Priest. The inn is a beautiful Victorian and the common rooms and bedrooms are impeccably decorated. The location is so close to great restaurants and wine bars. When we arrived, we had a choice of three great wines in the parlor and we got a packet of information, maps, recommendations, coupons, etc. The innkeepers […] - Celeste and Bruce also make great wine and have a cool tasting room about 10 minutes away. A stay at the inn gets you a free tasting there and a free bottle of wine. The staff at the tasting room - called Uncorked - wad really friendly as well. The breakfasts at the inn were good, but not great. Overall, we can't wait to stay again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"McClelland -Priest B and B Napa CA"
The room was fine ...although there was no TV . A bigger problem was the lack of water glasses in the room. There was no one with the B and B to provide information on our arrival,re: location of restaurants and recommendations of some. The breakfast was splendid and overall I would recommend the place , but note the limitations.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"McClelland-Priest B&B-Nice but....."
The old Victorian house was a pleasure to those of us that like old houses. Our room was nice and comfortable. We like to visit with the owners or proprietors. This interaction was a little disappointing. The on-line amenities were not quite as advertised. I believe it's pretty hectic to run a B & B and a separate wine-tasting facility at the same […] time. "Beautiful location, friendly innkeepers"
McClelland-Priest B&B is located on the southern side of the town of Napa, a short 5 minute walk to city center. Inside, it's a beautiful, Victorian-style home. Our room was huge, including a comfortable bed and jacuzzi for two. Breakfasts were delicious!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Charming B&B in Napa"
This B&B is a charming house within walking distance of downtown Napa. When we arrived our keys were in an envelope by the door with some maps and discount offers for tastings at numerous wineries. The owners have many commitments over which they divide their time and may not be present at the B&B. The room was large and comfortable with a beautiful […] patio but there should be better lighting provided at night for the small set of stairs leading to the Firenze suite. The fireplace was warm to the touch even though the controls were set to off. Breakfast was large and delicious but was served at 9:15 am which may not be an issue for some but felt like lunch time for us! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Lovely Bed and Breakfast"
Spent three nights at this lovely Band B. The whole house is decorated and furnished with antiques and still has a lot of it's original features. Our room was a decent size with a large en suite and had it's own balcony overlooking the garden. We sat outside in the evenings and enjoyed a glass of wine or two. Everyone sits at a large table for breakfast […] which is served at 9.15 am, we enjoyed this as we all chatted together about our plans for the day etc. There was no choice for breakfast however and it was similar each day, a small bowl of fresh fruit pieces and yoghurt sprinkled with cereal, followed by a portion of savoury or sweet souffle. We enjoyed everything we had so this was not a problem for us but some people may prefer a choice. Coffee and tea was available from about 8.30am in the sitting room to serve yourself if you needed an pre breakfast drink, and this was replaced by wine and chocolates at about 6 in the evening which was a lovely touch. We were also invited to free wine tasting at Celine and Bruce's premises downtown which was very enjoyable. We enjoyed our stay, and would recommend this Band B to others. Genuine Expedia guest review

Cathy & Daniel Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place for visiting Napa"
06/05/14 MuncieMan Seattle
Brought my wife here over Memorial Day weekend as early birthday celebration. Stayed in the Roma room which is air conditioned. Beautiful room, comfy bed and huge jetted tub. The property is very well kept inside and out with fine furnishings. Celeste the owner is wonderful. We stayed three nights and had a nice breakfast each day. Part of the package staying there includes a free bottle of wine and wine tasting at their tasting room Uncorked about a mile away. Friday night they have live music which we enjoyed. Downtown Napa is easily within walking distance but you can also park for free on the street or in a partking structure. Though there were no night shades in our room we slept fine since it's such a quiet neighborhood. Travel advice - on busy days going to Saint Helena traffic can be bad on Hwy 29. Try taking Silverado Trail Rd instead to get around any backups. There are a number of roads that cross between the two that will save you time.

This B&B is perfect. Very charming, Celeste is wonderful, the breakfasts she makes are great and it is in a fantastic location, within walking distance to The Oxbow, downtown, the best restaurants and The Uptown Theater. The rooms are expansive with large bathrooms and a jet tub. We stayed in The Carducci Suite and could not have been more pleased. Would definitely stay here again!
"Feel like you are at your own home in Napa"
05/10/14 Diatho01 New York City, New York
Our stay at the McClelland B&B was excellent! We had 4 of the 6 rooms rented and we felt like we had our own house for our family vacation. The house is charming with the decor staying true to the historic roots. Every room has something different and special to offer. From fireplaces, private patios, large bay windows and a 4 post wooden king size bed everyone feels like they have the best suite in the house. At first I was concerned that we would encounter issues with noise due to their being other people staying in the house while we were there, but, surprisingly we never heard anything. It was quiet and peaceful at all hours. Celeste went above and beyond offering suggestions on vineyards, restaurants, and nighttime entertainment. It was my Birthday during our stay and she even gifted me a lovely bottle of Champagne. The only thing I found to be a negative was that it was about 20-24 miles away from most of the Vineyards on the Silverado Trail, so we did spend a lot of time commuting. But we knew that going in and the positive to that negative is, the B&B is in walking distance to downtown Napa so we were able to walk to dinner at night. We would definitely consider staying here again on a future trip to Napa.
"Great stay, Celeste is wonderfull"
04/17/14 Brett A Greensboro, North Carolina
We recently stayed here for the weekend and really enjoyed it. Our room was amazing, it had a soaker tub in the room (not the bathroom), fireplace, and a BIG bed. The owner Celeste also runs the tasting room where we treated to a free bottle of wine and a tasting. She also knows EVERYONE in Napa, so we also enjoyed discounted tastings during our vineyard trips. Breakfast was good, healthy and light….a nice change from bacon and eggs we get here in the south.
"charming inn, lovely stay"
04/09/14 icybeta Toronto, Canada
Stayed just one night, over the weekend in Napa with friends. The Inn is quite a place, very interestingly furnished, decorated, designed. I had a great time admiring the rooms and the house. The room was cozy, and the bed was quite spectacular to look at. It was comfortable enough, though we felt it after. My friends' room was even nicer, with a lovely sitting area. Both had fireplaces, though we didn't need them. Location was great, just a short walk into town, no problems parking. Breakfast was served at 9:15, and was incredibly filling. A couple of courses, and coffee, orange juice. Very pleasant! Celeste was very nice and friendly, the package she left for us was very useful for discounted wine tastings, several maps and some guides. A lot of effort was put into making the stay quite lovely. Booking the rooms weren't too much of a problem. t would recommend a stay if you're looking for something a little more charming than the usual hotel.
"Great stay in Napa proper"

Walking distance to Oxbow, restaurants, tasting rooms. Highly recommend this beautiful b+b! Owner Celeste has many suggestions for wine tasting , is well connected and often has coupons for discounted wine tasting. Breakfast is lovely, healthy, and perfect for fueling up for the day. Quiet and lovely neighborhood just steps away from all the action.

My wife and I spent a few days break in Napa, before moving to San Francisco. The B&B is conveniently located close to city centre, having plenty of parking off street. We stayed in the suite Roma. The room was absolutely quiet, clean and very wide. The room was provided with a Jacuzzi pool facing the bow windows. Breakfast was delicious, served at 9:15 am every day. Every evening a bottle of complimentary sherry or cabernet are left on the dining room for guest for a late night snack before getting asleep. Complimentary WIFI did work properly. No TV in the B&B. A particular mention to Celeste and Bruce, very kind. Do not miss to visit their wine tasting saloon, “The Uncorked”, located within a walking distance from the B&B Highly recommended both of them
"Great Place to Stay in Napa"
08/28/13 Noah G New York
I highly recommend this place for a trip to Napa. The B&B is clean and the location is great -- a short walk to everything in downtown Napa. Celeste, who runs the place, made a very nice breakfast and gave us a packet with things to do in Napa. Unfortunately we didn't have time to take advantage of everything she offered; I recommend a few days if you have the time. We also got a free bottle of wine from Celeste's winery and a free wine tasting from their store, a great perk to staying here.
"We All Need a Little Napa After Visiting San Francisco"
08/09/13 Fred C Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey
August 2013 - Our family stayed for two nights and we have stayed there three times prior. Why? The operation is first class and their prices are reasonable. The owners, Celeste & Bruce, are well-connected for wine-tastings and can recommend great restaurants. Their breakfasts are always delicious and in the afternoon/evening, they provide a selected local wine for tasting with chocolates. Location-wise, they are in the City of Napa and very close to many activities without the need to get into your car. After a day of tasting, it is very handy not to drive anywhere else. Bottom-line, I would highly recommend staying at the McClelland-Priest. Visit the winery and outer restaurants during the day and enjoy the City of Napa during the evening. Oh yes, don't forget to visit their wine bar UnCorked - many times they have a band playing while everyone is drinking wine. It's wonderful.
"Great historic place to stay"
07/16/13 Dennis W Henderson, Nevada, United States
We stayed for two nights on a recent trip to NAPA. We called ahead and spoke with Celeste, the proprietor. We were arriving early, so she told us she would leave a packet for us on the front porch. We got a parking place directly in front and found the packet. It contained keys to the front door and to our room It also had a note from Celeste, map of the area, and reviews of local attractions, with her personal recommendations. We followed the map down to the waterfront, a few blocks away, and found a great restaurant for lunch, Fish Story. After lunch we walked to the Oxbow District, and shopped in the Oxbow Public Marketplace. We then walked across the street to Uncorked, a home with a wine tasting parlor. This is owned by Celeste and her husband. Wine tasting is complimentary to the B&B guests, and were were given a free bottle of wine to take home. The breakfasts at the B&B were prepared by Celeste and her staff, and were very good. We highly recommend this place and intend to return on our next trip to Napa.
