This is a typical "mom and pop" type of motel. It is clean, and was very quiet for our overnight stay. Even though we didn't use it, our room had a microwave and frig. The beds were very comfortable and coffee was hot and plentiful in the lobby the next morning. We will definitely stay on our next trip through Flagstaff.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good for a couple of nights"
The room was clean, close to a lot of places like restaurants, coffee shops, etc. It had a small refrigerator, oven and a TV. It is an hour and a half away from the south rim and would quite possibly be the nearest major city if one is not able to find lodging within grand canyon. Overall, we liked the stay and would definitely recommend it.Genuine Expedia guest review
Stayed in an end unit. No windows, only skylight style at roof line. Extremely small bath, but decent sized bed area. I'd say its ok for a bed and shower, but that's all. King bed was very comfortable. Older motel with low cost renovation.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Highland in Flagstaff"
This is an affordable and clean alternative to staying right downtown. The staff was very nice, it was a short walk to Beaver Street Brewery and downtown, and the room was decent for the reasonable price charged.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Two nights stay"
A good motel for transit. We booked it for 2 nights for visiting the Grand Canyon. The straff was friendly and the room was clean. We enjoyed the stay.Genuine Expedia guest review
Great place for the price. We were staying in between the Grand Canyon and Sedona. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and perfect for what we needed.Genuine Expedia guest review
Not bad for an overnight stay. Only complaint is that the showers ear was too low had to bend over to wash hair.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great family place"
Stayed here three nights with husband and two kids. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice beds, clean bathrooms, close to everything we needed in Flagstaff. Close to the 40 so we could get to Bearizona and Williams for the Grand Canyon train easily. Also close to lots of eating places and disc golf parks. Even though it is downtown, it was quiet. Didn't […] hear another guest once, and the parking lot was full every night. Asked for extra towels with no problem. We would stay here again! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Pride in the Pines Attendee"
The location is great especially if you are attending an event downtown or plan on hitting the bar scene in the evening. The actual rooms need some updating and more modern feel for the guests that are planning on staying here. Overall a great vibe and the staff were friendly.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The room was clean and smelled great when I walked in! Very nice staff. Only like 60 miles from the Grand Canyon if that's where you are heading and don't want to pay the expensive hotel fees near the GC.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean, comfortable hotel"
My family and I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Rooms are very clean and it is very quiet even though it is right off the major thoroughfare. We would definitely stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I was pleasantly surprised by my stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. My only problem was with parking - there weren't enough spaces for all the guests. When I returned later in the evening I had to squeeze my car into the only space left.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
goodGenuine Hotels.com guest review
This is obviously an older building, but everything has been updated and re-done. The rooms were very clean and the beds and pillows very comfortable. Even the carpet was "cushy" and nice. The noise was also very low. The motel is right on the main drag, but you couldn't hear the traffic at all. Very Nice place to stay. Great value for the price.Genuine Expedia guest review
When I arrived late Friday night, it was apparent that a previous guest had been smoking in the room. Was too tired to deal with it that night so in the morning I brought the situation to the attention of the Manager/Owner and he found us another, very clean room that had not been smoked in. I appreciated him making steps to fix the situation. That […] being said, the smoke smells in the previous room should have been dealt with better than they were. This is a pretty basic hotel, no frills. Great location at a reasonable price. "Just the essentials, done well"
A no frills experience that just gets the job done. We wanted a place in Flagstaff to allow us easy access to the Grand Canyon, and this fit the bill. Great price here if you don't want the extras like a pool, breakfast, etc. My only complaint is that the parking lot it horribly setup and difficult to get out of, but that's really minor. It's in a good […] location that's convenient to downtown and some of the nice hole in the wall restaurants that Flagstaff has to offer. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great 2-star, clean/economical"
Nothing fancy - clean room, clean bathroom, clean beds. We needed a place for a couple nights' sleep, and this was it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This is a "no frills" motel but a great location to walk to Historic Flagstaff. After a long drive it felt good to walk 10 minutes and see the district. There is a great brewery downtown across the tracks where we had a beer and watched the trains go by. The room seemed to have been freshly painted and was nice and clean. There was a microwave, a fridge […] and a coffee maker. The beds were nice and comfy. As an overnight stay, this was perfect for us. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Reasonable for price and helpful staff."
The gentleman working the evening shift was able to direct me to a place where I could buy a pair of pants. The gentleman in the morning directed us to a nearby breakfast establishment that serves (tasty) portions large enough to feed a horse. Room was clean and everything worked. What more could you ask for?Genuine Expedia guest review
"Older hotel that has been nicely upgraded"
Great location in the center of town which has a very youthful fill to it with the nearby University. This is an older motel but it has been nicely upgraded so it looks much newer inside (especially the bathrooms).Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel and great location"
Check-in and check-out was fast and painless. The man at the desk was very kind both on the phone when I called to confirm late check-in and in person. It was nice and quiet. We were out all day both days we were there so we only used the room at night so it was very nice be able to rest at night after very busy days. We are scheduled to go back in […] September so we are definitely reserving a room with the same hotel. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Very nice and a great deal"
Clean rooms and nice place. Located right near downtown which was great. Only wish the bed was softer but that's a personal thing. Very good value. Will stay again for sure.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Quality to Affordability Ratio"
Great jumping off point for Grand Canyon...clean...good service...great hot water in showers when you come off five days in the CanyonGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very basic hotel."
This was a very basic older hotel with limited parking. The room was clean but the bathroom had a very loud fan which ran whenever the light was turned on and the shower head was at nose level. There was only one wastebasket in the room. The Wi-Fi did work well though and it was easy to access the highway to the Grand Canyon.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to NAU"
Clean, comfortable, convenient. Parking was a bit tricky.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good, reliable accomodations"
This is a no-frills stay but the rooms are very clean and the staff (it appears to be family-owned) are very nice and genuinely seemed to care if we had a good stay. It is walking distance to the university and just down the road from various eateries.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Location location location"
This is a no-frills (no in room coffee etc) hotel, but clean and centrally located close to dining, downtown, campus, and other local sites. The room was clean and staff friendly. It's not luxury but it is comfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good last moment decision"
We found the hotel, booked, and checked in all after 10 pm on the same day we stayed. Had no trouble, staff was prompt, beds were comfortable, room was clean.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Very good Hotel"
Very good service, nice cleaning and good confort. I recommend it.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Run down but friendly"
In desperate need of upgrade. Looks depressing but staff was really nice and friendly.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good, quality place to lay your head at night"
We used this hotel as our home base while we traveled to Sedona and the Grand Canyon. It was clean and relatively close to the downtown area for eating and shopping. Management staff was friendly too. No frills... just a good place to sleep at night!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean and comfy."
Not the most modern but clean and comfortable. Good price.Genuine Expedia guest review
"No frills but a good deal"
I will probably stay there again when I visit Flagstaff and just want a place to sleep and shower. Rooms were simple but comfortable and clean. Cheaper than other places we priced, and we got two apparently-new queen-size beds for that. Room had a refrigerator, microwave, and hairdrier, which are handy. Clerk went second mile tracking down a member […] of our party to tell her about a phone call meant for her. Only beef: Noisy exhaust fan in bathroom runs whenever light is turned on, waking up people, and TV, microwave, or something, made a clicking noise all night. Earplugs made this no problem, but might not have had earplugs. That said, I would stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Clean, convenient, and consistent.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Clean room, good location and staff was very friendly. Good value for the $$Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Only stayed for a night before heading to the Grand Canyon. It's about 10min. walk from the centre of Flagstaff. No breakfast but there's a grocery store right in front of the motel and the room had a fridge and a microwave. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly. The WIFI worked fine too.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Eating in the evening"
No problems at all with the hotel - for the money it was perfectly acceptable. The owner might like to brush up on what restaurants there are in the area!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Ok for a one night"
Pretty run down. A lot of oil field workers staying there and they don't call them rough nickers for nothing.Genuine Expedia guest review
Good price for a night's stay, room was clean and accommodating. Perfect location.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Clean and Simple"
The hotel was just fine, nothing fancy about it at all, but had everything one might need. I was there for only one night and it was a clean room with a clean bed to rest my head.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice motel near NAU"
Nice, clean, no frills motel very close to NAU and downtown Flagstaff. A good place for breakfast within walking distance of the motel is a restaurant called "The Place ". Good food, huge portions, and reasonably priced.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Very pleasant stay on outskirts of Sedona"
Hotel was easy to find on the 179 leaving Sedona southwards. Clean, comfortable room with a view of the mountains. Good Wi-Fi. Full restaurant in the grounds of the hotel. I didn't make use of the inclusive continental breakfast. Coffee available 24 hours in the reception lounge. A swimming pool with sun loungers etc looked inviting though I didn't […] actually use. Within a few hundred yards there was a second, alternative good restaurant, a K shop and also a small Irish pub. Otherwise there was a large choice of dining a pleasant 15 minute walk into the centre of town. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Starting point for Grand Canyon"
Nice hotel, no frills, but excellent price for one-stay stay prior to going to Grand Canyon . Motel = very clean, spotless, across street from University; easy to get to. Staff was very nice and accommodating. 2 queen beds, room very comfortable. No coffee maker in room, but got fresh coffee in motel office area.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Close to Amtrak"
I do not believe there could be a hotel closer to the Amtrak station. We needed to be there at 4 a.m. and didn't want any hassles. The room was clean, inexpensive, and convenient. The man at the desk was very nice and helpful. My only disappointment was there was not a coffee pot in the room and with that departure time it would have helped. We also […] had some difficulty finding a good room temperature with the heater. Close to many good places to eat. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Simple, but cleaner and more comfortable than other establishments of the sort. Cheaper, too. Very impressive WiFi coverage. The rate posted on hotels.com is exactly the same as the one offered over the phone or to walk-in clients.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
