The Hotel is too far from Train Station, It's required to take a 40 minutes boat trip plus 5 minutes bus. At our arrival, we were in 2nd floor room. There were no elevator to get there. The conditions of the room were very poor. The ceiling was cracked, and there were many signs no ones take care on maintenance of the hotel. The hotel told us that breakfast […] was not included on hotel fee, so I paid € 5 per day per person. Next day the manager forgot to inform the kitchen guy about us, so there were no bread for our breakfast. They had to run to bakery next door to get some bread. 2nd day breakfast there were no Nutellas. I claimed for them and the employee told me there were few guys before us that took all nutellas. That's funny, they just buy the exact quantity of food. It supposes to be a buffet, and if someone eats too much next passenger remains with no food. At the bathroom, the soap was vary old and dirty. Hair dryer didn't work. Next day we asked the hotel to please change room. They did it. Next morning we wanted to take a shower and there were no hot water. I claim the hotel and I was told there were a problem with heating system, So my wife and I took showers with cold water in march (winter time). I claim the hotel again and they refunded us € 40. And end of Nightmare!! Read more

The hotel is a converted old non maintained rundown villa. No elevator, room located on second floor with multiple set of stairs per floor around 16 stairs each floor. Hotel is 30 minutes walking to the right after getting off the vaporetta. There is a bus that does the route and runs every 15 minutes, but not as frequent in evenings and not sure till […] when at night. I arrived at night and walked it...was very tired when I arrived and then to go up 2 floors with just a small suitcase and knapsack was challenging. The guy at the night desk helped me, which was unusual, and it was his last day at work too...so don't count on anyone helping. The room was poorly planned, with multiple leveled floors in a small room and i almost broke my neck on the step to the bathroom, which I did not expect or notice, besides two other separate steps in the small room with 3 single beds (different sizes, one really small, that looked like it was a 20 year old hand me down). The rug was old, run down, with disgusting stains on it, which they put two small rugs on top. Did not get bit by bed bugs, which I was afraid of, due to the condition of the beds. the a/c did not work, nor did the old tv. The breakfast which I did not pay for, just went to look, is a continental one very limiting and totally not worth even a euro, they were chargining 5 euros. They also don't tell you that there is a 2 euro city tax per noight. which i think hotel dot com should include in the price. great pastery shop near the vaporetta, worth stopping in and having a coffee and pastry for 3euros... there is a vaporetta from Lido to the airport, but i recommend to not stay here and rather stay at a town near venice and take the train in, better money better value for your money. alos the airport closes at 1 am and opens at 4:30, so if you plan to stay at the airport for an early flight , take that into consideration. I highly recommend to seek a room somewhere else, unless they lower the price to 20 euros.. Read more

While I ended up liking the location of the hotel, it was NOT in Venice, it was in Lido a short boat ride from Venice, even tho my confirmation said Venice. There was no elevator and it was several levels. The breakfast was not free, but cost 5 Euro and did not have a lot of variety. The guy checking us in did not go out of his way to help us with […] our bags when I had an eldery mother who had a hard time climbing steps and we needed help with All our bags... and I left my camera chip behind and instead of checking the room and calling me back, he said the maid did not find anything. Maybe us Americans are spoiled, but I am used to more customer service. I would pay for it! It was right next to a canal on Lido and just a short bus ride for 1.50 Euro to down town or a brisk 20 minute walk. It was also right next to the beach and the view of Venice, and I got to see some fireworks over Venice on Saturday night so that was a treat. Beautiful community and much more laid back than Venice. Shopping is still good there and we enjoyed a message at an official Thai spa that was down town too. The boat ride to and from Lido is an adventure and part of the whole Venice experience. The lodging accomodation was convientally located in Venice. The hotel and neighborhood are family friendly. The room itself was small with a musty smell. There were insufficient outlets to accomodate basic electronic gadgets, such camera battery, cell phone, children DS, etc .

Location is good in Lido, the bus stop is near the hotel. Rooms and hotel was OK, breakfast poor. the best thing was the receptionist. His name is Riduan and was very friendly, gave us very good advices and was always there when we needed something. Him alone was what was worth beeing there.

This hotel ruined our trip to Lido/Venice. The room was falling apart. Paint was peeling off walls. cracks everywhere. Beds were hard. The shower doors were off their hinges. When we inquired about the tv and air condition we got no help and simply said sorry we can not do anything about it. The hotel staff was not accomodating and they really did not seem to care about guests. We stayed in a total of 8 budget hotels in 6 different cities in both Italy and Greece and this was the worst hotel experience. This hotel is not very nice, honestly. The location is good if you're looking to stay outside of Venice, as Lido Beach is really pretty and quiet, yet has a lot to do in terms of food and night life. The receptionist when we arrived told me they offer laundry services, but could not give me information on prices and told me to "just ask the guy here in the morning," who told me that they don't offer laundry services, but that the housekeeper might do it for us if we pay her (this is just one example). We thought it was a little sketchy. The bedrooms were pretty dirty. They smelled like sewage and we found bugs under the sheets on the bed. We opted to stay here because Venice can be kind of expensive, and the reviews of this place made it seem to be decent for the low price. Plus we traveled to several cities in several countries during this trip so our days were pretty jam-packed and we just wanted a place to sleep and shower, and this barely offered that. Only a 15 minute walk to main street and the water buses. You can also take the bus if you don't want to walk. Very charming place with a garden and sitting area on the porch. When we arrived we had to pay 12.6 euro for 3 nights despite the price we already paid via credit card was listed as including all the taxes. The receptionist said "these are the OTHER taxes". Glad I was not put off by some of the negative reviews of this hotel. We found it excellent. Large high ceilinged room with aircon. Lovely house in great, quiet setting near beach and great sunsets over Venice. Staff were brilliant. Breakfast is worth it as the neigbourhood alternatives are very expensive

Great old 3 storey villa locationed on a waterfront, 3 mins from Lido beach and 10 mins from main shopping and ferry terminal. Hôtel situe sur l'île du Lido a 20mîn environ de la place St. Marc en vaporetto. ( Et 15. Min a pied de lembarcadere)Bonne situation qui permet d'avoir un prix correct par contre l'hôtel est un peux vieillot, chambres spacieuses mais pas très regardant sur le ménage. Le petit déjeuner sans intérêt.

La dame qui s'occupe de l'hôtel est très gentille, très accueillante. Elle a fait un effort pour essayer de parler en français, j'ai trouvé ça sympa. La première chambre dans laquelle nous sommes entré n'avait pas était nettoyée et était un peu "moche". Je suis descendue la voir elle s'est excusé et est allé voir la femme de ménage qui lui a dit que […] cette chambre là n'avait effectivement pas encore était nettoyée et lui a donné le numéro d'autres chambres. La seconde chambre était tout à fait bien, très propre, on sentait que le ménage venait juste d'être fait. Le lit était confortable. Par contre nous avons eu des petits démêlés avec la salle de bain, l'aération faisait sauter le courant, heureusement le tableau électrique était dans la chambre, on pouvait donc remettre la lumière facilement et on a arrêté e touché à l'interrupteur de l'aération électrique! L'hôtel se trouve à 5-10 minutes à pied du vaporetto qui emmène directement à Venise. Ils proposent un petit déjeuner à 5€ que nous n'avons pas pris! Nous avons préféré acheté de quoi se faire un petit au supermarché (il est dans la rue en face de la station de vaporetto). Ce n'est pas du grand luxe mais ça suffit largement! Read more

To dager på Lidoen er akkurat passe. Lokal buss til ferge til Venezia og ikke for langt å spasere til stranden. Mye bedre enn å bo i selve Venezia. Ingen problemer med å finne fram med bil. Hotellet förtjänar inte att ha 3 stjärnor av 5, ingen mysfaktor på rummet, vi skulle ha ett dubbelrum och fick ett rum med tillgång till 5 bäddar där 2 enkelsängar fanns i var sitt hörn av rummet och 1 extra säng under dubbelsängen, en sittsoffa, ett bord där TV:n stod ,en fristående mindre garderob, kyl samt en stol, allt var utplacerat utan tanke […] på om det passar in. Badrummet var inte så väl städat, det var länge sen någon hade skrubbat kaklet. Dubbelsängens madrasser var hårda att sova på. Personalen var trevlig och fixade även våran dusch så fort vi sa till att den var trasig. Frukosten för 5 Euro var däremot inte så märkvärdig så vi valde att äta på Bepis bar som fanns i närheten, restaurangen bredvid baren hade också väldigt bra mat där vi åt middag några ggr . Annars funkar det bra att bo på Lido, tog ca 15 minuter från hotellet att gå till färjeläget men man kan åka buss också. Det gick flera olika turer med färja(båt) in till Venedig så man behövde inte vänta länge innan det kom en . Hotellet upplyste att det var bemannat 24 timmar men när vi gick,(checka ut) strax före 05:30 så var det nedsläckt i reception så vi lämnade bara nyckeln på disken, tur att vi hade betalat allt i förskott. Nu var vi bara på hotellet i princip för att sova och det funkar väl om man inte har så stora krav. Read more
