The rooms were beautiful! I don't think I have ever seen a cleaner hotel. It was spotless. The service was excellent. I'm thinking of going back to Cannes just to stay there.

Very positive experience staying at this hotel. Upon arrival, I was offered a choice of one of two rooms I was allowed to view before making a choice. Room was very clean, heat worked very well as did shower. Only drawback was that shower did not have a shower head fixed to wall. Rather, you had to use a hand held sprayer while showering. A little awkward, but got the job done. Location of hotel was very good in proximity to Nice Ville Train Station as well as tram on a quiet street. Stayed there 7 nights and would definately consider staying there again on next visit to Nice.

4 stars hotel but actually only 3 and a half stars. We also had to pay for internet access . The rate was 19.50 Euro for each day which is very expensive. With the price we had paid for our hotel, the internet should be included

Quaint little hotel in an excellent location. Just a short walk to the beach, old Nice, and all the surrounding tourist areas. The front desk assistance was wonderful and friendly. The rooms overall could use some updating - my AC didn't work correctly nor did my TV. I did enjoy that there was a mini fridge (there's a grocery right around the corner) and the free wi-fi was very nice to have. From my balcony I could see the ocean and the city. Streets are a bit noisy at night and I could hear other patrons in their rooms even being on the 4th floor. For a couple day's stay however it was perfect.
Location.
Within easy reach of the beach, Hotel Saint Charles is in Antibes (Juan-les-Pins - Antibes), close to Palais des Congres de Juan les Pins, Juan-les-Pins Beach, and Pinede Garden. Also nearby are Picasso Museum and Antibes Cathedral.

This hotel is located in a wonderful location. It is less than 2 blocks from he train station and about 2 blocks to the beach. You can not beat it for the price.

The location of the hotel is great if you want to go to the beach. I had a car and went to the hotel off season, so I think i'd rather stay at an hotel outside the city and pay less or pay the same for a better room. "Juan-les-Pins Saint Charles-close, clean, friendly"
The hotel was a block and a half from the train station (something we used a lot in this location). It was a block and a half from the beach and the tourist office. It was less than a 10 min walk to the center of nightlife in Juan-les-Pins. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and very fluent in English (which […] is helpful when traveling). The space in the room was incredible. There was plenty of room to unpack all of our bags and move around. There was also a makeshift closet area so you could do some temporary unpacking during your stay. Downside was the garden/pool area - the garden was small and the pool was too small to really get in, but it was a nice place to relax for a bit. The beach was very close, so we rented pier chairs ($15) and did our real relaxing there. Also, the A/C wasn't on (although there was a note indicating that if hot enough, it would be turned on) so we had to keep our windows open at all times. That was enough to stay cool, but the town is small and tight and the street rooms are RIGHT on the street, so there was a lot of noise at night as people were still mulling around the neighborhood. Also, there were trucks up and about moving through the streets VERY early. I didn't get much sleep while I was there, but the sleep I did get was good because of the spacious room and very large king sized bed. Compared to the other hotel we stayed at in the south of France, this hotel was top notch as far as space, cleanliness and staff. I think had the A/C been on during our stay, this would have been a 5-star review. We stayed in the Saint Charles for nearly a week. It's in an excellent location, only five minutes from the beach and 5 minutes from the train station for anyone wishing to explore outside Juan les Pins. We found the hotel to be great value (for an area that is generally overpriced), we has a good size room and plenty of storage. "Basic and Over-priced"
We have given this a 3 star rating based on many factors including the towels and bedding were not changed during our 4 night stay. The in room facilities were very basic , the swimming pool is much smaller that we were given the impression of also it leads directly onto some of the rooms so you felt like you were encroaching on someone else’s private […] space. The price did not reflect this level of standard. If you are looking for a French experience do not go here unless top to toe IKEA is to your liking.On a positive it is near the beach but that part of the beach will cost you 16euros per day per person to sit on it. This hotel does not look anything like the photos. The rooms are dingy and dirty and feel l like prison cells. The lobby area and breakfast area were dirty as well with stains all over the chairs. "Good location, very close to centre of beach."
We stayed 2 persons at the hotel for 2 nights in a room with garden view. The hotel offers very good value for money and is located very close to the beach (less than 5 min and slow pace). The size of the pool is enough for the purpose of it... to cool down after walking around in Juan Les Pins. This is a small hotel and you get good service and help […] from the staff. Transport between airport and hotel with bus is excellent. The bus 250 from airport towards cannes stops very close to the hotel (exit - central Juan Les Pins). If you want to explore the city of Antibes and all what it offers you should choose this hote. If you want to stay at a five star resort with sea view choose something else. Read more
"Hotel Saint Charles. Close to station & beach."
location of this hotel is excellent. 5mins. to beach & station. 10 mins from stop for airport express bus. Breakfast was basic and not much choice expensive for what you got. A pity they don't supply kettle as no drinks machine at hotel. Beds very comfortable. Swimming pool only small but good for cooling off on a hot day.
Great value for money, very close to the beach, short walk from the station.

The hotel is small but well places if you are looking to stay in Juan les pains and it is very close to the train station. we stayed in two rooms during our stay and the rooms are all different. They are nice and perfectly adequate for a few days holiday. The staff were friendly and helpful when we needed information. i would recommend the hotel.

Petit hôtel sympathique, le petit déjeuner est servi sur une table en commun, choix entre francais (pas de confitures) ou buffet (complet).
"Hotel St Charles, Juan les Pain"
Ett mysigt hotell med mycket tevlig personal, duktiga på engelska. Perfekt läge. Två minuter till havet och lika långt till järnvägsstationen. Bra kommunikationer. Dessutom hade vi toppenväder i oktober. Omkring 25* varje dag.

Wir haben fünf Tage Kurzurlaub Anfang Oktober 2011 in Südfrankreich gemacht. Das Hotel war eine wunderbare, einfache und günstige Unterkunft. Stylisch und schön. Das Zimmer war recht klein, aber nachdem das Wetter so toll war, waren wir eh nie da. Es gibt aber wohl auch größere, denn nächstes Jahr wollen wir mit Baby hinfahren. Unser Zimmer war zum […] Garten und wir hatten herrlich ruhige Nächte. Der Pool und Garten ist sehr sehr klein - nicht zum Bahnenschwimmen denn zum kurz reinspringen gedacht. Aber eine kleine Oase. Die Klimaanlage hat unser Zimmer angenehm kühl gehalten. Der Kühlschrank war groß und sauber. Das Personal war super hilfsbereit und nett und sprach perfektes Englisch. Das Frühstück war einfach - aber in Frankreich frühstückt man eben nicht üppig. Dafür gab es superfrische Croissants direkt vom Bäcker. Köstlich. Der Sandstrand ist die Straße runter direkt. Der Bahnhof ist auch direkt um die Ecke (aber nicht hörbar), und der Zug bringt einen die gesamte Cote d´Azur entlang für Tagesausflüge. Zu den Restaurants und zum nächsten Supermarkt sind es nur wenige Gehminuten. Alles direkt nebenan. Ich kann das Hotel auf jeden Fall empfehlen, wenn man eine saubere, einfache, günstige Unterkunft ohne Schnickschnack sucht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Aber Luxus darf man nicht erwarten. En liten idyll
"Hotel Saint Charles : à deux pas du centre"
Hotel très sympathique, personnel très accueillant. L'hôtel est proche (mais pas trop) du centre animé donc voiture inutile une fois sur place. Petite "piscine" parfaite pour prendre l'apéritif! Seul bémol, s'il faut en trouver un, serait le manque de place de parking fournie par l'hôtel (juste deux...donc soyez rapide :-)). Séjour très agréable.

We had a great stay at Saint Charles! The room was nice, and was facing the lovely back yard with a small swimmingpool. un hotel discretamente carino in una posizione centrale, la piscina che si vede in foto non è niente di che anzi l'acqua è sporca e anche le sedute a bordo piscina...nelle stanze si ha poca privacy visto che sono a piano terra e danno tutte sulla piscina.

"Prisvärt, nära till strand och trevlig personal"
Budget hotell med hemmakänsla. Lagom stort rum med enkel inredning och skön säng. Ingen lyx men fräscht och rent i rum och badrum. Trevlig personal. Detta hotell är mycket mer för pengarna än andra hotell i samma prisklass som vi bott på tidigare.

This hotel gives you much more than what you pay for. The rooms are big and I loved the fact tha they have wooden floors!!! Clean and nice rooms. 宿泊前からメールで連絡したが、対応はよかった。隣りの部屋の音がすべて聞こえる、電気ポット（お茶、コーヒーなど）などがまったくおいていないため、居心地はあまりよくなかった。ホテルは海岸に近く、町の中にあるため、買い物、食事、散歩にはよかった。

j'aurais peut être été satisfaite si, au lieu de 84 euros, j'en avais payé 35, ce que valait cette chambre très ordinaire et inconfortable. "salle d'eau"minimaliste, on ne peut poser ses affaires que sur la lunette des wc fermée, l'eau passe du froid au brulant (c'est dangereux) et l'évacuation est surement bouchée. La "piscine" est un bassin à eau […] trouble où on ne rentrerait pas à 2. pas de voilage aux fenetres alors qu'il y a unimmeuble en vis à vis, seulement de maigres rideaux qui ne couvrent pas les ouvertures, bref, peu recommandable. Ett mycket prisvärt alternativ. Mycket bra läge centralt i Juan Le Pins. Tillmötesgående och trevlig personal. Frukosten OK om än något dyr, finns bättre alternativ i grannskapet. Lyhört, men tar alla gäster hänsyn så är det inget problem.

Utsøkt lite hotell om man tenker på beliggenhet og pris! Rommet var ganske lite, men det var rent og utstyrt med det man trenger. (kjøleskap) Bodde her i 7 netter og kan gjerne finne på å gjøre det igjen.

Jättetrevlig personal, fin innergård. Nära till station, restauranger, stranden. Hotellet är modernt inrett m ikeamöbler men skulle behöva fräschas upp ordentligt. Med tanke på det låga priset, den trevliga personalen och det perfekta läget är hotellet trots de slitna rummen ett riktigt fynd!

Det var inte precis något 5-stjärnigt hotell, men det var så rent. mycket modernt inrett rum. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Nära till tågstation, busshållsplats, stranden, restauranger och en mysig bageri, men ändå lugn. Mycket bra semesterhotell.
